mikeansy:And you have evidence that General Buhari did not pass his military exams? Please show us. Does it not sound strange that this allegation is coming out 30 years after the general retired from the army? How come non of his mates or seniors ever made such a spurious allegation? In the history of electioneering in Nigeria, which politician had ever made a speech on policy analysis that enumerates how he/she will tackle Nigeria's problems? Before you voted Jonathan in 2011, what policy analysis did he make that enumerated how he would solve Nigeria's problems and what policy analysis is he making now for the next election? And Jonathan sounds and look more brilliant? |
So who sound more literate between Buhari and Jonathan? Can Jonathan have a "no holds barred" conversation with any journalist. All Jonathan's interview are alway rehersed and stage managed - and he still makes grave errors. Buhari has a fulani-Hausa accent, while Jonathan has the "Delta Pidgin" accent, so what is the difference? I look forwards to a head to head debate between them, i hope Jonathan does not chicken out this time around. |
asalimpo:There is nothing like virgin birth. A virgin can never give birth. For a virgin to give birth would mean the resulting baby would have only 23 chromosones (a female egg has only 23 chromosomes. The funniest aspect is that the baby (jesus in this case) is a man. That means jesus has the XY chromosome, now where did Jesus get the Y chromosome, which is found only in male? The virgin birth myth had been in existence from the dawn of history to signify great men, especially very power kings. Such men are attributed devine origin as to connote they are half god and half men. They are said to be a union between a diety or god and an earthly woman. |
angelsing:Thank you. Privatization was not jonathan's idea but was Obasanjo's scheme of rewarding supporters and cronies with Nigeria's assets. It was Obasanjo that sold most of Nigeria's assets for peanuts to cronies in the guise of privatization. He even "dashed' away our refineries only for Yaradua to take it back. I have never been a believer of privatization. Why can private and public cooperations work together? Why can't government keep and operate its own services and allow private companies operate theirs - Like NTA and AIT. Why will someone who is interested in operating a refinery in Nigeria have to wait for government to sell Nigeria's refinery before he can do business/ |
slydog:You are a theif. How can you justify looting by politicians and pastors? You are just attempting to blackmail unsuspecting christians to part with their hard earned cash. There is nothing like compulsory 10% tithing in the Bible. Jesus, Peter or any of the apostles did not demand or collect tithes from anybody. Pastors should learn to get a job or do other businesses if the want live extravagant lifestyles. |

WhiteTechnology:I must confess that i had not read the Confab reports but i was not aware that it resolved the issues of True federalism, resource control and privatization. I thought the bickerings were about state creation and sharing formula. Please educate me further on the areas that solved True federalism, resource control and privatization. |
Vicel:It is good you declared your stance, but let me ask, how did you come to this belief? How did you know it was a him, and not a she or a it - with beard and a long john? and what is his will and glory? To d atheist is one thing to believe n is another to disbelieve. There is freedom of Religion n a choice to accept if u want to be religious or not.First, we are all atheists in one way or the other, it is just that the atheist believe in one less God than a theist. An average theist disbelieve all the other thousands of Gods and believe in one. Like the Muslims say "there is no other God - but Allah". Remove Allah and he would be a full atheist. It is theists that infringes on the freedom of worship of others. They insult and abuse all others who do not hold their beliefs. So if theists leave atheist alone, atheist would also not disturbs theists. You all claim u don't believe in God n he does not exist, Now Dis ur argument begs a question, logically it can be inferred dat since God does not exist n we re in a world or to be more since inclined a Universe dat is filled with creatures n form DAT is only possible to cum to being without a super intelligent Creator.Your argument does not hold water because you would also need to explain whence came your super intelligent creature. Pls Atheists tell us ur own believe abt d way u think d universe came into being. Most atheist would tell you they have no idea of how the universe came into being. Creationists and evolutionists cannot explain how the universe came into being. Creationist just speculate that a super powerful human being created it, without any further explanation and evolutionists are not concerned with how the universe came into being. I have been fascinated abt Spirituality for long n I ve read a lot of tins u atheist claim BT it is more confusing compared to d believe in God as a creator. You are far more confused than the atheist. Please explain what is a 'God' and what are its origins and how it works. how does it create? I knw of d big bang, d nebular theory, d story of d Sumerians n Mayans abt anunaki as d creator of d humans, So anything u think u have to say beta back it up well. I am studying Geology n humanity is a ting of serious interest to me.Good you know the big bang theory and why it was postulated by Edwin Hubble. which one is nebular theory again - please explain. Every society has its own myth about creation, so the sumerians are no exeption. It is good we are studying Geology, at least it should make you ask some questions about some religious dogma. So according to you, what is the geological age of the earth? |
WhiteTechnology:And what was/is the plan of Goodluck Jonathan for; Resourse Control Fiscal Federalism Privatization? |
Because theism is about religion, while atheism is about non-religion. Theists shove theirs religion in our throats the minute we are born and push it all the way to our ass all though our lives. It make atheists who most times had swallowed the consumed religion to fight back, having realized that he had been deceived from birth - That there is no tooth fairy in the sky, waiting to reward or punish us for mandane things. If theists stops disturbing the atheists in our homes, offices and public places, atheist would not feel the urge to fight back. Besides are Black Africans not ashamed that we now worship and bow down for white Gods. We dress like the people whose gods we worship, we speak their language, we adopt their writings and literature and we adopt their culture. A black Man think of God (or all his prophets) as an Arab or blue eyed European man. Have we not become subservient to the Arab or European? |
manutdadex:Re-read the speech and tell us how D-banj relate to the agricultural policy for the youth. I am sure you are a juvenile, you talk like one. Una mate dey make am, how? When our education sector is in shambles? What the youth need most is quality education. |
etunoman76:This man truly does not have what it talks to rule this country. How can this kind of uninspiring and useless speech be delivered at an inauguration of the Youth Employment in Agriculture Programme and the Fund for Agricultural Finance event? Is he insinuating that Nigerian youth are only good for entertainment and sports? What about other critical sectors like health, Agriculture, science and technology, Information technology, etc. This speech is an insult to the youth of this country. |
He should have compared Jonathan to Mohammed instead. I am sure he would have gone on exile by now. |
onatisi:Then the western nations are fools, because the deny and disregard the existence of mystical powers and demonic and spiritual powers. So how come the " wise ones" like you are usually the poorest, diseased and ignorant in the world. I have not seen what gains you people have made from the expert knowledge of mystical powers. Infact your lives revolves around things created by these same fools that deny the existence of demonic powers. |
fr3do:Then you guys too play the politics without honour and consideration but not with violence and threats of violence. I assure you if you resort to violence your people would suffer greatly. The elites fanning the embers of war like Asari Dokubo and Tompolo would be far away from the war theatre when it gets out of control. Remember, Ojukwu or any of his immediate family members did not suffer any consequence of the civil war he started. |
fr3do:Quit that born to rule propaganda. Play the right politics and present a credible candidiate and you will win elections. The whole north did not carry arms to actualize the ambitions. The north are not our common rivals. They may be your rivals |
If every ethnic ethnic people want to survive the next few years, they better start arming themselves. In the Niger Delta, the Ijaws have been arming since the time of Alamiesegha. Since Nigerian waterways are now in the hands of Ijaw militant, you can only just imagine the types and quantities of arms that would have been brought in. It is not surprising that Tompola has the effontry to threaten the Commander in chief of the Nigerian armed forces. Itsekiris, Ilajes, Benis should take note. If Jonathan losses the next elections, they would be directedly in the front lines. The Kaima declaration is an Ijaw plan to take over all the oil wells in the Nigerdelta. |
How come we are not asking how come Africans (Nigerians especially) are experts in the area of spirituality, religion, witches, demons, emere and so on, while the Europeans (who gave us religion) are experts in science and technology, economics and social organization. How come our expert knowledge of the spiritual have not helped us overcome poverty, deseases and civil disorganization? |
Here is another funny statement that you are indeed afflicted with schizophrenia; They just wanted us split apart, and damaged, and dead. I would often see omens of three dead bees, since we were only three in the house, before having my second child. They would be dead, and laying side by side in straight alignment. My husband would sprinkle them with holy water, and flush them down the toilet. So, it was a terrible situation. How did you flush omens of three dead bees down the toilet? Furthermore, how come you are the only one affected by all these? Where are your husbands and children? Did you abandon them to start sleeping in churches, seeking spiritual help? Have you tried seeing a doctor all these times? Please seek one out as soon as possible. |
Xetima:We the people of Nigeria are represented (supposedly) by the National Assembly (according to the 1999 constitution) and not a commitee constituted by the president, governors and a few bodies. How will a president change the constitution without the National Assembly and all state assemblies? Any thing done outside the constitution will be declared null and void by the courts (just like the Interim Government of Sonekan) |
onatisi:Please google the world schizophrenia, it will explain most of these so called emere experiences. According to wikipedia Schizophrenia is a mental disorder often characterized by abnormal social behavior and failure to recognize what is real. Common symptoms include false beliefs, unclear or confused thinking, auditory hallucinations, reduced social engagement and emotional expression, and inactivity. Diagnosis is based on observed behavior and the person's reported experiences. |
Get this into your heads; THE PRESIDENT DO NOT HAVE THE POWERS TO IMPLIMENT ANY CONSTITUTIONAL CONFERENCE REPORTS, that is according to the 1999 constitution. Every president of head of state since Babangida had held National Conference with the reports gathering dust in the achives. They always do it just to buy time and distract the people. |
onatisi:It was you that failed to read the article. To help you i will quote the relevant section; That day, as I got to the church premises, after walking them (my child and in-law) to the bus stop, I noticed the lights were dim in the church. It was bed time, and so I wondered. the lights were never dimmed before. so I had a premonition that something was not right. I lay now to sleep, and as I lay down, I felt this strong wind tainted with perfume, just blow around me. I then saw my button to my shirt pop open . I shrieked with fear within me, but could not move. Please show us where she claimed she was physically raped and who did the raping? |
Nigeria's education sector is in serious crisis, Its no wonder we have over 70% failure rate in WAEC examinations. Only an illiterate would equate a few lines of Facebook post as a declaration of asset. Please check with the Code of Conduct Bureau or a dictionary to learn what Declaration of Asset means. A sensible person would realize that the said post was certainly not from Buhari nor have Buhari's approval. It was probably one of the gimmicks by TAN to rubbish Buhari's name (as usual). It is lacking of any facts and details and mostly guesswork and speculations. Everybody knows the money Buhari borrowed to buy APC's normination form was never 5.5 million naira. And what does at least N1 million and around 150 cows mean? So what is the total value of Buhari's assets? |
I wonder what criteria are used to push topics to the front page. That this useless thread made front page while other educative posts are relegated to the background shows what is important to the Nigerian cum the African society. The story is either made up to promote a new book by a Born Again pastor or member or the writer is seriously deranged. The story itself is so disjointed that it is difficult to make sense of it. The writer keeps jumping from one story to the other, from one location to another and one character to another. Writer need serious medical help, she sounds like someone with acute depression with signs of schizophrenia. |
gratieao:Why not list these achievements in the area of agriculture, education, health, transportation, road rehabilitation, energy and the economy and how it benefited the Ondo People to make them want to vote for GEJ. How many roads were rehabilitated by GEJ in Ondo?, how many health centres were built? etc. It is obvious the achievements Mimiko are talking about are present and future achievements in his personal life. |
WhiteTechnology:Oh Sorry, you are talking to a secondary school drop out. |
WhiteTechnology:I hate arguing blindly. Let debate on an intellectual level instead emotional rants. I stated my reasons why i feel such system would not work in a highly corrupt environment like Nigeria. So you should counter me with superior argument and citing the said university. I believe if such a system is implemented in Nigeria, it will increase sexual harassment of ladies instead of reducing it. Imagine a lady having to satisfy 4 male lecturers (academically or otherwise) before she can pass a single course. It increses the chances of 2 or more of them taking advantage of the lady. Besides, a country like Nigeria lack the resources in terms of number of lecturers to implement such a system. As things stand, there are not enough lectures in our campuses, as most times a single lecturer takes a course with over 1000 students. |
WhiteTechnology:Who are we to blame for unmerited results? The students? No system or structure can work if the operators are inherently corrup, especially the leadership. I am sure the university you are not talking of a university in Nigeria. Because if you try such a system in Nigeria, you would multiply the problem. If a course is handled by multiple lecturers sharing the marks, nothing stops individual lecturer from being corrupt with his/her own share of the marks. Instead of students to "settle" just one lecturer to pass a course, he/she would have to settle multiple lecturers. |
double0seven:I hardly press the like button but this your comment deserves 100 likes. Corruption in a Nation or an organization is like disease to the body. The body can cope with minor diseases like flu and skin rash but major diseases like cancer will eventually kill the body. Massive corruption as being experienced in Nigeria right now would eventually destroy the nation. |
I hope PDP/TAN/GEJ supporters do not die of heart attack from Buhari's and APC's achievements. At least some of them are now eating their words on the campaign of calumny against APC. I know they would now be on overdrive looking for more lies to attack Buhari. So insincerenigerian, have patience (not PEJ), Buhari would outline his plans for Nigeria when be begins his nationwide campaign, since he was only norminated to be APC flag bearer yesterday. Political campaign ban was only recently lifted by INEC and so far, Buhari only needed to convince APC members and delegates that he is the best person to carry the party's flag into the 2015 elections. It is now that he has won the normination that he can now canvass for votes from the general public by telling us where he intents to take Nigeria to. |
cooljude:So because Janathan relaxed importation laws in Nigeria, he is deemed a hero in igboland? Now that is the most stupid thing i have ever heard. Relaxing importation laws (along with devaluation of the national currency) had been the diabolic plans of IMF for third world countries since time immemorial. It makes us a dumping ground for other countries, while stifling local industries. That is why the igboman would prefer to import tooth pick instead of manufacturing it. Sorry to say but you guy are highly myopic. You guys claim to be INDUSTRIOUS but pride yourselves in trading and importation, is that not ironic? You guys need a leader that would restrict importations and gradually engage in import substitution policy. This is the only way we can free ourselves from oil dependance, stop the slide of the naira and create employment for the masses. |
