The jury is out on whether Buhari passed any of his senior military exams in the army.

Also Buhari has been running for President for 12 years and 4 presidential elections and yet there is no speech on policy analysis where Buhari enumerates how he will tackle Nigeria's problems

Buhari is not brilliant at all!

Jonathan's grasp of the issues is better than that of Buhari. I honestly think we should have a live Presidential debate ASAP !
And you have evidence that General Buhari did not pass his military exams? Please show us. Does it not sound strange that this allegation is coming out 30 years after the general retired from the army? How come non of his mates or seniors ever made such a spurious allegation?

In the history of electioneering in Nigeria, which politician had ever made a speech on policy analysis that enumerates how he/she will tackle Nigeria's problems? Before you voted Jonathan in 2011, what policy analysis did he make that enumerated how he would solve Nigeria's problems and what policy analysis is he making now for the next election?

And Jonathan sounds and look more brilliant?

So who sound more literate between Buhari and Jonathan? Can Jonathan have a "no holds barred" conversation with any journalist. All Jonathan's interview are alway rehersed and stage managed - and he still makes grave errors. Buhari has a fulani-Hausa accent, while Jonathan has the "Delta Pidgin" accent, so what is the difference?

I look forwards to a head to head debate between them, i hope Jonathan does not chicken out this time around.

Any1 who doubts d virgin birth is lost (or about to backslide).
There is nothing like virgin birth. A virgin can never give birth. For a virgin to give birth would mean the resulting baby would have only 23 chromosones (a female egg has only 23 chromosomes. The funniest aspect is that the baby (jesus in this case) is a man. That means jesus has the XY chromosome, now where did Jesus get the Y chromosome, which is found only in male?

The virgin birth myth had been in existence from the dawn of history to signify great men, especially very power kings. Such men are attributed devine origin as to connote they are half god and half men. They are said to be a union between a diety or god and an earthly woman.

Thank you. Privatization was not jonathan's idea but was Obasanjo's scheme of rewarding supporters and cronies with Nigeria's assets. It was Obasanjo that sold most of Nigeria's assets for peanuts to cronies in the guise of privatization. He even "dashed' away our refineries only for Yaradua to take it back.

I have never been a believer of privatization. Why can private and public cooperations work together? Why can't government keep and operate its own services and allow private companies operate theirs - Like NTA and AIT. Why will someone who is interested in operating a refinery in Nigeria have to wait for government to sell Nigeria's refinery before he can do business/

Vicel:
Hi all, I am interested in Dis argument going on here.

Let me declare my stand first I believe in d existence of God, his power, his will n glory.
It is good you declared your stance, but let me ask, how did you come to this belief? How did you know it was a him, and not a she or a it - with beard and a long john? and what is his will and glory?
To d atheist is one thing to believe n is another to disbelieve. There is freedom of Religion n a choice to accept if u want to be religious or not.
Since u don't believe in God allow does dat believe to continue in dere faith pls.
First, we are all atheists in one way or the other, it is just that the atheist believe in one less God than a theist. An average theist disbelieve all the other thousands of Gods and believe in one. Like the Muslims say "there is no other God - but Allah". Remove Allah and he would be a full atheist.

It is theists that infringes on the freedom of worship of others. They insult and abuse all others who do not hold their beliefs. So if theists leave atheist alone, atheist would also not disturbs theists.
You all claim u don't believe in God n he does not exist, Now Dis ur argument begs a question, logically it can be inferred dat since God does not exist n we re in a world or to be more since inclined a Universe dat is filled with creatures n form DAT is only possible to cum to being without a super intelligent Creator.
Your argument does not hold water because you would also need to explain whence came your super intelligent creature.

Pls Atheists tell us ur own believe abt d way u think d universe came into being.
Is either u re a Creationist or an Evolutionist. U can't just dispute any fact without concrete reason, we re in d information Age maybe u have read sumtin from sumwere DAT is making u disbelieve in God u have thought abt it succinctly n cum to a conclusion of not believing.
Most atheist would tell you they have no idea of how the universe came into being. Creationists and evolutionists cannot explain how the universe came into being. Creationist just speculate that a super powerful human being created it, without any further explanation and evolutionists are not concerned with how the universe came into being.
I have been fascinated abt Spirituality for long n I ve read a lot of tins u atheist claim BT it is more confusing compared to d believe in God as a creator.
You are far more confused than the atheist. Please explain what is a 'God' and what are its origins and how it works. how does it create?

I knw of d big bang, d nebular theory, d story of d Sumerians n Mayans abt anunaki as d creator of d humans, So anything u think u have to say beta back it up well. I am studying Geology n humanity is a ting of serious interest to me.
Good you know the big bang theory and why it was postulated by Edwin Hubble. which one is nebular theory again - please explain. Every society has its own myth about creation, so the sumerians are no exeption.

It is good we are studying Geology, at least it should make you ask some questions about some religious dogma. So according to you, what is the geological age of the earth?

Christianity EtcRe: Why Are Atheists Always Talking About Religion by wirinet(m): 12:48pm On Dec 21, 2014
Because theism is about religion, while atheism is about non-religion. Theists shove theirs religion in our throats the minute we are born and push it all the way to our ass all though our lives. It make atheists who most times had swallowed the consumed religion to fight back, having realized that he had been deceived from birth - That there is no tooth fairy in the sky, waiting to reward or punish us for mandane things.

If theists stops disturbing the atheists in our homes, offices and public places, atheist would not feel the urge to fight back.

Besides are Black Africans not ashamed that we now worship and bow down for white Gods. President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday accused elderly Nigerians of troubling the country as a result of their utterances and behaviours.

The President said that it was the young Nigerians that had continually brought glory to the nation.

He particularly berated old politicians in the country, who he said caused trouble by quarrelling and abusing one another.

Jonathan spoke during the official inauguration of the Youth Employment in Agriculture Programme and the Fund for Agricultural Finance in Nigeria which held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He said, “For the Nigerian young men and women, those who we have seen today and the ones outside there, we appreciate and commend you because anything that you are involved, you bring glory to this country.

“Anything that the old people like us are involved in, it is always problems.

“Young people are involved in sports, soccer, athletics and so on, and within the period that I have been here as Vice President and President, they have always been bringing glory to us.

“Young people are involved in the movie, popularly called Nollywood, and this continues to bring glory to us.

“Young people are involved in music, like D-Banj, and they always continue to bring glory to us.

“But see politics that old people like us are involved in, we continue to quarrel and abuse ourselves everyday and create problems for innocent Nigerians.

“So, we believe that the future of this country is in the hands of young people. The young Nigerians will surely take us to where we want to be.

“One day, you will take us to the moon. I believe in the young, creative and talented people. Surely, we will create enabling environment for you because you stand for the future of this country and you will make this country great.”

How can this kind of uninspiring and useless speech be delivered at an inauguration of the Youth Employment in Agriculture Programme and the Fund for Agricultural Finance event? Is he insinuating that Nigerian youth are only good for entertainment and sports? What about other critical sectors like health, Agriculture, science and technology, Information technology, etc.

This speech is an insult to the youth of this country.

They just wanted us split apart, and damaged, and dead. I would often see omens of three dead bees, since we were only three in the house, before having my second child. They would be dead, and laying side by side in straight alignment. My husband would sprinkle them with holy water, and flush them down the toilet. So, it was a terrible situation.
How did you flush omens of three dead bees down the toilet?

Furthermore, how come you are the only one affected by all these?

Part of the activities lined up for the day three of the event is live performances by May D and Jaywon.

Meanwhile Governor Mimiko has congratulated President Goodluck Jona than on his emergence as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presidential election due for February next year.

In a congratulatory mes sage to the president, Dr Mimiko said the peaceful and rancour free process leading to the emergence of the president as the candi date of the party is a pointer to his popularity and recog nition of his achievements since becoming the presi dent of the country.

Mimiko who promised that the president will win in Ondo state convincingly said “ the president has demonstrated overtime that he genuinely love this coun try and would do everything humanly possible to ensure that it remains an indivisible entity.”

The governor said “the time is now for Nigerians to ensure that we rally round the president to achieve his dream of a better Nigeria.

“His achievements in the area of agriculture, educa tion, health, transportation, road rehabilitation, energy and the economy are laud able and should continue so that he can realise his dream for the country”

Governor Mimiko further said, “since it was the will of God to make the president assume office in the first place, the same God who has also ensured he wins the party’s candidature without any rancour will also ensure that he gets elected as the next president of our dear nation next year”.

This idea has reduced the impact of corrupt lecturers working in the university.

Infact few girls talk of sexual harassment
I hate arguing blindly. Let debate on an intellectual level instead emotional rants. I stated my reasons why i feel such system would not work in a highly corrupt environment like Nigeria. So you should counter me with superior argument and citing the said university.

I believe if such a system is implemented in Nigeria, it will increase sexual harassment of ladies instead of reducing it. Imagine a lady having to satisfy 4 male lecturers (academically or otherwise) before she can pass a single course. It increses the chances of 2 or more of them taking advantage of the lady.

Besides, a country like Nigeria lack the resources in terms of number of lecturers to implement such a system. As things stand, there are not enough lectures in our campuses, as most times a single lecturer takes a course with over 1000 students.

I know a university that did not waste their time fighting corrupt lecturers instead created a system that curtailed corrupt lecturers by ensuring that a course is handled by more than one lecturer and the total mark shared amongst the lecturers.
Who are we to blame for unmerited results? The students? No system or structure can work if the operators are inherently corrup, especially the leadership.

I am sure the university you are not talking of a university in Nigeria. Because if you try such a system in Nigeria, you would multiply the problem. If a course is handled by multiple lecturers sharing the marks, nothing stops individual lecturer from being corrupt with his/her own share of the marks. Instead of students to "settle" just one lecturer to pass a course, he/she would have to settle multiple lecturers.

What a trailer load of hogwash. Only people who are mystified by plenty grammar will think you have said anything sensible.

What the hell do you even mean by restructuring? Look here, corruption is corruption and it can and is known to be able to exist and thrive in any political system be it Unitary, Federal, Regional, Confederation. Corruption is in the human mind and as to be driven out by deliberate action of a good leader.

Are state governors not stealing their own? So if we become a proper federal system where more power resides not in the center but the States, the leaders of those States will suddenly become saints?

And let's even accept your argument that restructuring is the problem; how come your beloved Jonathan has not commenced the restructuring in 6 years.
You think the corrupt will embark on a restructuring that will hinder their evil and tie their hands? To think this is folly of the greatest kind. That kind of venture can only be embarked upon by an incorruptible leader who truly detests corruption.

Corruption is the bane and source of every other problem we have in this nation. All scholars of any repute will not say anything contrary to this.
I hardly press the like button but this your comment deserves 100 likes. Corruption in a Nation or an organization is like disease to the body. Relaxing importation laws (along with devaluation of the national currency) had been the diabolic plans of IMF for third world countries since time immemorial. It makes us a dumping ground for other countries, while stifling local industries. That is why the igboman would prefer to import tooth pick instead of manufacturing it.

Sorry to say but you guy are highly myopic. You guys claim to be INDUSTRIOUS but pride yourselves in trading and importation, is that not ironic?

You guys need a leader that would restrict importations and gradually engage in import substitution policy. This is the only way we can free ourselves from oil dependance, stop the slide of the naira and create employment for the masses.
