Yes, i have done some of it. I was a science student in secondary school with good science lab, and we did lots of experiments to prove electrons. Our teachers did not teach us to accept electrons (or any other scientific phenomena ) by faith. If you are ignorant of basics science, that is your handicap, but do not come here spewing rubbish.

About the planets, i have been interested in Astronomy since i was 12, so i know where to look for the planets. Venus and sometimes mercury can be seen with your naked eyes. It is what is often referred as the morning or evening star, Mars and Jupiter can been seen with a low powered Telescope. I had a small telescope when i was young. I followed the Voyager 1 and 2 programed religiously which beamed live pictures from Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. So do not thing everybody is as ignorant as you.

Only Ignorant people rely on faith for their knowledge.

Next thing you will be telling us that we know of the existence of the moon by faith.

What is with Africans and faith? are we just too lazy to find out how things really works. While the western world are teaching their kids science like evolution and how things works. We on the other hand are filling our children's head with religious mumbo jumbo. Tune into any kids program on Nickelodeon, Jim Jam, Disney Junior, etc, the programs are geared towards teaching the children basic science, meanwhile our own kids are taught Jesus and Mohammed. And we hope to be able to compete in a global world.

You do not require faith to know that other planets exists, you need evidence, and there are tons of evidence. You can get yourself a telescope or better still go to one of the research observatories scattered around the world ( i forgot, we in Africa do not believe in science and research, we are only interested in things of faith and the spirit).

If you want to see an electron, just visit one of the top research institutes and look through an electron microscope. There are tens of experiments to see the effects of electrons. You do not need faith to know what an electron is, what you need is evidence.

It is not even Bishop Oyedepo that i envy, it is his first son and heir to his empire David Oyedepo Jr. At least Oyedepo worked hard for over 30 years to perfect his "salvationprosperity for sale" doctrine, that made him one of the richest pastors in the world. Imagine him arguing fervently that black holes do not exist. Does he even know the implications of that statement? It means Einstein's law of General relativity is wrong. A law that have been validated again and again.
If black holes do not exist (assuming we ignore all the physical evidence), what happens when a huge mass collapes unto itself? What happens to space-time around massive objects?

Although there are many mysteries out there in the cosmos, these mysteries cannot be used to validate any one God. Doing that is known as "God of the Gaps" Any gap in any field of knowledge is quickly filled with their God.

Not lets look the claims of this professor logically;
The theory of black holes had been in existence for decades, it existence was even speculated mathematically before any physical evidence. Many physicists have collected Nobel prices due to their work on Black Holes. Black holes form the basis of theoretical physics. So anyone that can proof the non existence of black holes would be the most popular scientist since Einstein.

The paper aptly said sensationally, so the paper was just being sensational. Where is the publication containing the Mathematical proof? At least before a claim can be made it must be reviewed by peers to test the validity of the claims. Furthermore the result of her research that can proof black holes do not exist would excite physicists.

Meanwhile, there are over 100 billion galaxies out there each containing 100 billion stars each, so how is she sure that at least one would not retain enough mass on collapsing to become a black hole.

Finally, the physical evidence of black holes is overwelming, thousands of telescopes have shown huge masses of gases being sucked up by black holes. How did your prof explain away the physical evidence.

I hope the Prof is not some Jehova Witness scientist.

There was nothing like gases, gravitation force, star dust, etc before the big bang, they were consequences of the big bang. All there was was energy.

This is the classic misunderstanding of theists concerning evolution and atheism. Not all atheists believe in evolution. In fact i guess that there are more atheists that do not accept or understand evolution than those that do. Even the father of Evolution - Charles Darwin cannot be said to be an atheist. My role atheist model - Tai Solarin does not even know the meaning of the word evolution. There had been hundreds if not thousands of atheist ever before the theory of Evolution was propagated. If you are talking about the material universe, i would tell you that NO BODY KNOWS. Lots of ancient stone age men made different speculations according to the knowledge of their time. Some speculated it was created from an egg, some speculated that a very powerful man created their universe by just saying some magic word, others still speculated that the universe was birthed from a woman.

Modern man using current knowledge speculate that the universe might have started from an infinitely small and dense energy which exploded (began to expand), some 12 billion years ago.

So everybody speculates according to the understanding and knowledge of the time.

2.What explains the fine tuning of the universe?

I do not understand what you mean by fine tuning, but if you are talking about the fundamental constants of physics, i would say that the universe had been evolving for 12 billion years, so you would expect it to fine tune its basic properties, else it won't still be here.

3.Why do evolutionists deny the existence of a designer ?

Please refer to the explanation above. Not all atheist are evolutionists. Some atheists deny the existence of a designer because to them no proof had ever been provided by the creationists to support the existence of such designer. The is not one shread of evidence to show what the designer looks like, if it is male, female or a cow, and how it goes about creating.

Although i totally agree with the OP's assertions, one must not lose sight of precedence. The decision not to challenge the 2015 presidential elections at the courts is not Amechi's, it is a position taken by the leadership of APC. Cramjones had been hinting us of that position here on Nairaland for over 6 months now. Amechi only recently spoke of their position.

Results of litigations from previous presidential elections have shown that no matter the level of Rigging and irregularities, you can never get judicial victory against the inumbent PDP government. INEC conducted the 2007 election without serializing the Ballot paper which is clearly against the electoral act (and even common sense), but the supreme court held by a vote of 4 to 3 that the elections were valid and legal. It is like printing money without serial numbers. How can the total number of ballot papers printed and used be determined? The elections were so flawed that even the winner (Yar Adua) shamefully admitted that the elections were flawed, and yet the courts saw nothing wrong with the elections.

For a person to win a presidential election petition, the petitioner must first prove that there was gross irregularities in the elections(across the whole nation) and then go on to prove that the irregularities affected the outcome of the elections. Meanwhile all the evidence lies with INEC which often times are highly uncooporative. When you add complicity of the courts, what you have is Mission Impossible.

So anyone challenging a presidential elections at the court will only waste his/her money and time, the courts can never pronounce against an incumbent government. The only option left for aggrievedlosers is to quietly accept their fate or look for alternative means to challenge the results.

I am not advocating or in support of violence, but when people lose fate in the judiciary, anything can happen.

What the fuk is Infrasonic radiation? Infrasonic simply means very low frequency sound waves or energy (as opposed to ultrasonic or supersonic energy), while radiation is electromagnetic energy. The bolded is one of the doctrines of christianity i cannot wrap my head around. They say he is free from orignial sin because a man was not involved in his conception. But how does that exonorate him from Eveic sin? Since eve was the first that ate the apple and thus was the first to sin, it means she was as culpable as Adam. Jesus at least have the genes of Eve (even if we assume the other half was absent), so it means Jesus has half the original sin in his genes. Jesus was a direct progeny of the fallen Eve.

The doctrine went further to suggest that children born as a result of copulation is sinful. I honestly do not know where they get this. Sex within marriage is said to be unsinful or holy. So how come they are now implying that a child born under wedlock is sinful and confers sin on the innocent baby?

About the conference paper. A conference paper is not tantamount to a publication. A conference paper has to be published before it becomes a publication. If this Jonathan's conference was published, kindly point to where it was published.

The publication is titled:

It is encouraging that you took up the challenge to show us any of GEJ's thesis or publication, the problem is that the said paper is neither a thesis or a publication. It was appropriately labeled Conference or workshop item. It was a joint paper presented at a workshop. It would be very difficult to determine jonathan's contributions.

Do not mind the hypocrites. Yesterday IBB is evil and corrupt, today he is a saint who's words are gospel truths. If Buhari truly did not pass his exams, it will not be only IBB (Buhari's junior) that will be aware. Was IBB the supervisor or teacher that marked Buhari's exams papers? Did IBB get the exam papers of all his seniors to know who passed or who failed? This lie cant fly because all senior military courses were done abroad (england or india) and there was no way IBB can get hold of the exam scripts of every officer.
