Now, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leader of the APC thinks he can sell Yorubas to this unrepentant tyrant (General Muhammadu Buhari) who refuses till today to apologise to the Yorubas for nearly wiping out all our leaders? Buhari victimised, humiliated and dehumanised our leaders after he truncated democratic rule in 1983. He never touched one Hausa man then! Victim 1 - Pa Awolowo had his house ransacked, passport seized he could not go abroad for medical treatment. His home in Ikenne was also surrounded by soldiers. Victim 2 - Pa Adekunle Ajasin, former Gov, Ondo State Arrested, sentenced to over 100 years. Pa Ajasin is known not to have spent one kobo of his security vote and had only one house to his name in his native Owo till his death. Victim 3 - Pa Lateef Jakande, former Gov, Lagos State. Same as Pa Ajasin. Tried in kangaroo Court and sentenced to over 100 years imprisonment. Victim 4 - Cicero, Bola Ige. former Gov, Oyo State. Sentenced to over 100 years on corruption charges. Victim 5 - Papa Bisi Onabanjo former Gov, Ogun State. Jailed for over 100 years. Pa Onabanjo was whisked away from hospital where he was receiving treatment straight to prison on Buhari's instructions. Do note that all the governors were found not guilty by Courts who tried them however Buhari demanded many retrials until a guilty verdict was reached for all of them by the Courts. Victim 6 - Bisi Akande, former Gove. Jailed on corruption charges. Now, Akande and Buhari are together in the APC. Is Akande no longer corrupt, Buhari? Victim 7 - Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Fela received 10 years for being vocal against Buhari's regime. Buhari said then, he has resolved to deal with the "fela problem" Victim 8 - Ooni of Ife. Seized his passport and prevented him from travelling abroad. Victim 9 - Tunde Thompson. Journalist jailed for reporting against government. Victim 10 - Tai Solarin. Jailed for speaking against the govt. Ironically, what Solarin said/wrote then and was jailed for by Buhari's regime is nothing compared to things Buhari says against the present government. Victim 11 - Ayo Ojewunmi became blind in jail after Buhari blatantly refused to release him to get medical attention. He died soon after he was eventually released Victim 12 - Busari Adelakun suffered same fate as Ojewunmi. His ailment though was ulcer which killed him. Victim 13 - The many many Yoruba youth slaughtered in the north in 2011 because Buhari lost the election. Buhari could have curbed the violence but waited for days before public opinion forced him to make a statement on radio condemning the violence. He has prepared us now for 2015 by saying "their dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood" if he does not win the election in 2015. ...And this man will be in Osun to campaign for Aregbesola, his fellow Boko Haramist? Ekiti rejected them on June 21. Osun People, reject APC, the BOKO HARAM Party on Saturday!

Dunno but I just feel there's something powerful in marrying as a leader in your field. These days, all we see are losers getting married to losers, or loser-winner settings. I guess that's why the bible says, "Prepare your work in the field. Make it fit for yourself. And afterwards, build your house". Proverbs 24 verse "read ur bible". |
ylaa: OH I LOVE THIS WRITE UP. SO PERFECT AND STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. A LITTLE SCOLDING BUT WITH LOVE AND ENCOURAGMENT. PLS MAY I KNOW YOU? SOUNDS LIKE A LOVING FATHER TO AN ERRING SON. GOD BLESS YOU SIR /MA.Lol. Well, it just happens that I've been on both sides of the cross, that's all. That's how I treat my own screw-ups. I did listen to a Mike murdoch recording where he talked about his $30k dog. The trainer told him to praise it 5 times more often than he corrects it. This means that the more you criticize, the more you need to praise and encourage. ![]() All the more reason for lazy critics to shut up. Lmao Thanks for your kind compliments. |
Before It Is Too Late | A Requiem for APC | RichWAJU.com http://richwaju.com/blog/requiem-for-apc/ And then I read this on Nairaland.com. >>Prophet Tb Joshua 2014 Prophecy About APC & PDP by henchamb(m): 11:48pm On Dec 31, 2013 just watching the synagogue church of all nations where the man of God said that the APC will be in crisis because of who will be their presidential candidate and leadership tussle because many are with them in the body but not truly with them in the spirit. I am laughing seriously. But you won't take me seriously, will you? |
Last fortnight, we read about the move by a serving senator sponsoring a bill that would penalize critics of government with a seven year jail term. I found this notion so laughable that that I made the following post on Facebook. From the time of John, the Baptist, jail has been the home of the astute and unrepentant critic. Today, thankfully I now have a noble reason to go to jail. Or perhaps I will get mugged and have my legs fractured, or my life taken by “suspected armed robbers”. I really do not care. And Why should I? When the so-called elders have their mouths so full of “come-chop” that they cannot speak against their handler. Look friends, I am livid with anger at two things The silence of society The impudence of the present fayemi-led government with respect to public administration. Last sunday, I read the dullest article ever put forth by the normally mentally-astute Tunde Fagbenle. I have been reading him for years, but last year, I noticed the leaven in his dough and pointed my brother’s attention to it. But he, an “away” Ekitiman, insisted that Fagbenle had not missed it. Fagbenle for the past few years has written only in praise of APC governments and even recently, of Fayemi’s government. This I found to be the maddest hypocrisy of all. FAYEMI KILLED MY SISTER AND CO-WORKERhttp:///q3zuklu. Could this libel? Well, I am told by my nation’s constitution that “Fish always rots from the head”. In other words, leadership is responsible for failure of institutions. How can my colleague die in an institution where Gov Fayemi just commissioned a set of ambulances supposedly equipped with mini-oxygen tanks? How can Bunmi Apalowo die in the “best” (spare me) state-owned medical facility? How can she die of lack of oxygen? How can there NOT be oxygen available in an accredited Teaching Hospital? Bunmi Adetunji underwent Caesarean Section (CS). The operation was successful and she had a baby girl. Few minutes after the operation, she began having difficulty breathing but there was no Resuscitator (OXYGEN) to assist her. She died a few minutes later. My son was born in a very small private clinic in 2009. I had asked permission to be present through the process. I remember him not breathing at time of birth. I also remember how that oxygen was administered and today he is a healthy young lad. Today it makes me shudder to imagine what might have happened IF (God forbid) there had been no oxygen present at my son’s birth. My point is, if the only doctor in a very small Maternity Clinic could afford to have oxygen in place, then Mr Fayemi must explain to me, and to Mrs Apalowo’s family WHY the very amenity that we elected him to have in place should be lacking unto the very death of a citizen under his watch. I hear Olubunmi Adetunji is the 5th patient to be lost in Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Ado-Ekiti in the last THREE WEEKs due to of lack of OXYGEN. Where is the oxygen? Where are the allocations to EKSUTH? Where is the Medical Director of EKSUTH? Where is the Commissioner for Health? Where is this farce of a leader who seeks a second term at the expense of precious life? EKSUTH has no functional OXYGEN plant. Yet, Mr Fayemi claims to have spent over N600m on Health Mission, in which Paracetamol, Toothpaste, Sunlight Soap, Cotton Bud, etc are distributed. People are dying daily because of lack of Resuscitator. Yet, Mr Fayemi is building a New Government House allegedly worth between 4 to 6 billion naira. EKSUTH has no functional OXYGEN. Yet Mrs Fayemi is said to have donated a building worth N150m to OAU, Ile-Ife and spent over N50m in receiving YEYE AJISEYE chieftaincy title. Look, I am not after Fayemi, neither am I against his wife receiving a chieftancy title. I only have questions, ……which if unanswered will turn into allegations, ……………………………which if undefended will turn into the biggest sandstorm in his political career. My Questions are as follows: According to RMAFC, Ekiti State is one of the most indebted states in the nation with present debts running into the region of 35 billion naira. Gov Fayemi, what did you spend the money on. We are told you met a debt of under 6 billion from the past administration. As Chief Security Officer of the state, and as learned as we are told that you are, I expect that you know that health security is also covered by the oath that you made, why has health suffered under your watch to the extent that the state-owned TEACHING HOSPITAL should be lacking in such common things as Oxygen? If indeed (as all selfless leaders should think) health is a priority, why is your multi-billion naira government house project more important to you -when it is not even guaranteed that you will inhabit the place? Why have you not set up any panel to investigate the obvious indolence of the entire hospital management. Afterall, they say “Once beaten, twice shy.” Yet, 5 people have died and nothing has changed. Please note that these people have not died as a result of any viral or bacterial epidemic. Or perhaps it is indeed an epidemic of stupidity, indolence, delinquency, greed and avarice RIGHT UNDER YOU WATCH MR PHD GOVERNOR. There is no denying that this food chain ends at your desk -in Ghana. I wish I were a lawyer. I wish I were a family member. I wish I were in an opposition party. Perhaps then I can tear your heart out completely. But this is my pen, my power, my weapon, and my faith With it pointed at your heart, I dare to say reiterate my my opening sentence. Governor Fayemi Killed MY Colleague. I may suffer for this, but my son will find inspiration in the courage of a father who spoke up while the rest of the state cowers in fear of your jackals. I now stand to be proven wrong. And the nature of your response (If you are human enough to do that) will show Ekiti who you really are. Here I rest for now. I still hope this was all a dream. Bunmi only just got married in April this year.

DON'T CALL OFF THE STRIKE -IF.... Don't get me wrong, I want the strike called off too. I miss Maria. But when I consider the ineptitude of the average nigerian university lecturer, I get scared. When I remember my (university) lecturer who brought a cane to every class, I get mad. When I hear a Univeristy graduate speak poor English, I get really angry. I'm currently part of a client's recruitment team. I've seen application letters that make you want to cry. "Are these people really university graduates?" When I see a lecturer taking his female student to a hotel for sex, I feel murderous. The other day, as I drove, we saw a lady on a bike "okada". Her skirt was naturally hitched up. That's ok, right. I'm a man of vision. Then her tattoos...actually they were lecture notes. she was just returning from an examination. We make laws for terrorists and robbers, and even students involved in malpractice. Before this strike is called off, I want the Senate to sign in a Law that will punish every lecturer caught demanding sex or money from students. A law that will require universities to pay lecturers based on the quality of their graduates. The reason that our nation is befuddled with criminals is that they are indoctrinated in College. I had extra yearS in university because I wouldn't "sort". Eventually, I caved in. This university corruption cabal is stronger than boko haram, PDP, and our jaundiced legal system. Whistleblowers are ineffective without a law backing them and assuring them of a Witness Protection Program. So please, before the next GEJ Vs ASUU meeting, let this issue be taken into cognizance. This is the key to salvaging our already endangered future as a nation. Thank you Eccentrically Yours, Rich Waju 2B198BE3 www.richwaju.com @richwaju on Twitter. PLEASE: IF THIS IS IMPORTANT Don't just Re-Broadcast -Share it on social media.

Devil got you on a guilt trip big time Lady! Dear OP, people like you will not forgive yourselves when you screw up -and you will...megally. Forgive me for this but I doubt you are forgiving of others trespasses too. I thank God that you are not God. Remember he said, I will have mercy and not sacrifice. Well he may be YOUR GOD, but He is my Daddy! I am his love child. Yet there'll always be those who get uncomfortable when the walk looks too easy. Its d grace-walk, baby! Those folks are like the elder brother of the prodigal son -lets call him Prodigus. He does all he is expected to do, but gets mad when his father celebrates prodigal. Heavenll be full of discovery. Seeing the things you missed just cause you were too scared to ask. Nuff said. Miss T, repent! Tgirl4real: I would like to share this verses of scriptures with us today. I am not after whether it was written to Jews or gentiles or which ever dispensation as some would say. lol. It is the word of God and if you are a child of God it applies to you. |
I just heard on CNN that the Empire State Building is up for sale at an asking price of $100 billion. Now, while I am not personally inclined to bid for it, I must say that the news report got me thinking. Here I am, a Nigerian -just like you all on Independence Day. My heart marvels at the outpouring of prayers of goodwill and sheer hope by Nigerians all over the world today. On every medium, from Facebook, to Nairaland; on television and radio, on newspapers and blogs, my mind is electrified by this one discovery. The very same Nigerians who complain daily on social media are yet filled with an inspiring and highly contagious hope. For one day in the year, the voices of the masses have drowned the conscience of the critic, the antagonist, the pessimist, and the terrorist. You, the masses have risen in one voice, one mind, one soul to claim this wounded lion as not just your own, but as your jealous pride! On every social media profile, a flag has flown at full mast in the acknowledgement of our common identity. Today, we have doused the much retweeted fury of “sages” who have denigrated us in describing Nigeria as “nothing but a mere geographic entity”. Today, we told the world that we are proud of our rags – though rags, yet ours. We told them what we for so long have refused to tell ourselves. We displayed such pride as we never show when we leave the shores. Komla Dumor is a journalist with BBC and presenter of Focus on Africa for BBC World News based in London. He had this to say on his twitter handle @bbckomladumor. This captures the thoughts on the mind of every non-nigerian who for too long has seen Nigeria as a crippled nation. Mr Dumor illustrates the typical expectation of so many third parties who unconsciously expect us to revert to the infamous “sober reflection” that has become cliché in Nigeria today. The world expects us to be downcast, complaining and whining about our challenges. But they are shocked today, when the average nigerian rose up with a smile on his face and a glow in his heart. It is particularly interesting to note that one @basseyworld has a thought-provoking tweet about Nigeria at 53, in the light of the Shutdown in America. Pic Below. It tells you how miserable you become when you compare yourself with others. It is so easy to look down on your fatherland when u consider the 90 murdered university of agriculture students up north. It is so easy also, to forget that just about every quarter, a single fellow wakes up to murder tens of his fellow citizens who have no single ideological differences. He does it but it isn’t called terrorism. As though his victims just laughed to death. Terror is not unique to any people on earth -and neither is corruption. We need to accept that as truth in order to move on. If there was no corruption in the united states, why will there ever be #OccupyWallstreet? Why hasn’t the “Occupation” produced result? What’s my point in all this? Every nation has its own challenges. Simple. The 102-storey Empire State Building project was begun in 1929 and concluded in 1931. Costing over $40million to build, with over 2 million square feet of rental space, this building was world’s tallest for 39 years. You will only begin to appreciate these facts when you discover that this building was erected during the worst economic meltdown in American history. So intense was this depression that if affected the entire world! In America, farmers were so impoverished that they couldn’t buy gasoline. Bankers became so unpopular that Bonny and Clyde became legends of bank robbery. Program after program set up by the then President Hoover failed. And guess what? America was 153 years old at the time! Today, Nigeria is 53 and I want to encourage the spirit of hope and ambition so evident amongst us today. Consider that an impoverished 1929 America, achieved a world record in the midst of their worst nightmare. It wasn’t money that made it possible -it was RESOLVE. And I want to tell every nigerian today, that if they did it, we can too. mplishment of little and big things. In the middle of the terror up north, we can (as we have) yet accomplish great things. In the words of legendary billionaire John D. Rockefeller, who said “These are days when many are discouraged. In the 93 years of my life, depressions have come and gone. Prosperity has always returned and will again.” I also want to assure you that if you can keep the faith, to only believe, and silence your doubts by the positivity of your attitude and actions, prosperity will return -for the truest prosperity, is the prosperity of the soul. Turn your ears from those who say it can’t be done. Turn aside from those who say hope is lost, or things are hard, or curse the government. For life is only as hard as you make it out to be. Focus on your inner radius of control. Its been said that all the water in the ocean cannot sink a ship -until the water finds a way to get inside. Nigeria will rise again. But while we wait, let us…no, YOU gather your resolve and build something, anything -your dream or passion, just as the men who built the Empire State Building did, right in the middle of their worst nightmare. The end is not yet. Nigeria will rise. Share this post if you believe. Thank you. Source: http://richwaju.com/blog/2013/10/02/without-excuse-state-of-the-nation-address-by-rich-waju/

wjxavier: BREAKING NEWS!!! SEN. McCain Writes Ekiti People. http://richwaju.com/blog/2013/09/21/mccain-writes-to-ekiti-people/DISCLAIMER: The author wishes to announce that the following treatise is entirely a work of fiction. Any allusions to similarities with real people and places are purely coincidental. When RichWaju.com editor, Dmitry Constantonov, offered to publish my commentary, he referred to me as "an active anti-Fayemi politician for many years." I'm sure that isn't the first time Ekiti people have heard me characterized as their antagonist. Since my purpose here is to dispel falsehoods used by Ekiti's rulers to perpetuate their power and excuse their corruption, let me begin with that untruth. I am not anti-Ekiti. I am pro-Ekiti, more pro-Ekiti than the regime that misrules you today. I make that claim because I respect your dignity and your right to self-determination. I believe you should live according to the dictates of your conscience, not your government. I believe you deserve the opportunity to improve your lives in an economy that is built to last and benefits the many, not just the powerful few. You should be governed by a rule of law that is clear, consistently and impartially enforced and just. I make that claim because I believe the Ekiti people, no less than Americans, are endowed by our Creator with inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. An Ekiti citizen could not publish a testament like the one I just offered. Governor Fayemi and his associates do not believe in these values. They don't respect your dignity or accept your authority over them. They punish dissent and murder opponents. They rig your elections. They control your media. They harass, threaten, and banish organizations that defend your right to self-governance. To perpetuate their power they foster rampant corruption in your courts and your economy and terrorize and even assassinate decampers who try to expose their corruption. They write laws to codify bigotry against people whose political orientation they condemn. They throw the members of a non-party coalition in jail for the crime of being proactive and coordinated and for having the audacity to have hope. Ayo Jeje wasn't a human rights activist. He was an ordinary human being with an inalienable right to choose his political affiliation. He was an ordinary Ekiti man who did an extraordinary thing. He exposed the weakness, cracks and insecurity in the ruling party. He cared about the rule of law and believed no one should be above it. For his beliefs and his courage, he was beaten and shot dead by thugs loyal to Mr Fayemi. That wasn't only a crime against Ayo Jeje. It was a crime against the Ekiti people and your right to an honest government - a government worthy of Ayo Jeje and of you. Governor Fayemi claims his purpose is to restore Ekiti to greatness at home and among the nations of the world. But by what measure has he restored your greatness? He has given you an economy that is based almost entirely on the civil service that will never have the freedom to dissent to his draconian policies. It is an economy that can never give liberty. And, if it does, it will be mostly to the benefit of the corrupt and powerful few. Capital is fleeing Ekiti, which - lacking rule of law and a broad-based economy - is considered too risky for investment and entrepreneurism. He has given you a political system that is sustained by corruption and repression and isn't strong -or mature- enough to tolerate dissent. How has he strengthened Ekiti's national stature? By allying Ekiti with some of the nation's most offensive and threatening tyrannies. By supporting an Amaechi regime that is battering it's own people to remain in power and by blocking the Governor's Forum from even condemning its atrocities. By refusing to admit culpability for the murder of dissenters, the harassment of opposition groups, and the growing debt profile of the second poorest state. He is not enhancing Ekiti's local reputation. He is destroying it. He has made her a friend to tyrants and an enemy to the oppressed, and untrusted by states that seek to build a safer, more peaceful and prosperous world. Governor Fayemi doesn't believe in these values because he doesn't believe in you. He doesn't believe that human nature at liberty can rise above its poverty and build just, peaceful, prosperous societies. Or, at least, he doesn't believe Ekiti can. So he rules by exploiting that poverty, by corruption, repression and violence. He rules for himself, not you. I do believe in you. I believe in your capacity for self-government and your desire for justice and opportunity. I believe in the greatness of the Russian people, who suffered enormously and fought bravely against terrible adversity to save your nation. I believe in your right to make a civilization worthy of your dreams and sacrifices. When I criticize your government, it is not because I am anti-Russian. It is because I believe you deserve a government that believes in you and answers to you. And, I long for the day when you have it. http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/19-09-2013/125705-McCain_for_pravda_ru-0/ |
