Once, I was a victim to their antics, the tinted SUV in front of me was not stopped, the danfo behind me was also not stopped... Only I in the middle with my Camry was stopped. The irony is this: LASTMA cannot arrest the very rich and the very connected. LASTMA do not bother with the very poor like korope, danfo, okada. They are only out for one set of people only: the middle class. They hate that average working man or woman driving his mid level car. Funny enough, it is this same category that pay taxes diligently. The very rich can use their influence to evade taxes, the very poor has nothing to pay in the first place. The rich hate the middle class because they feel they are trying to "step up" to their level. The poor also hates the middle class because they look at them as being "rich" and the cause of their poverty. The same poor has nothing but admiration and awe for the very rich whom are mostly politicians that put them in that situation. The middle class is under threat in Nigeria, and they are responding by leaving the country in droves. A time will come, they would have all left and there would be no scapegoat to hate. Then, the country will descend into full anarchy. |
I'm not igbo. I've never been to the southeast. Can't you see how foolish you are? MelesZanawi: |
It is sufficiently clear now that the joke is on the average simple minded yoruba and northern muslim who joined the Buhari/APC bandwagon innocently purely on the basis of tribal/religious loyalty. You can see what they did with your lives for 8years,.. They lied even up to the last day. Only to turn around a week after the end of 8years to tell you it was a great flop? Now, they have hoodwinked you into committing for another 4-8years along the same lines: same scenario of an old sick man who is an ethnic god and desperate to rule for no other reason than to fulfil a lifetime ambition. |
I represent goat, cow, ram, chicken lovers, we are calling out you guys eating these harmless peaceful animals. Hypocrites! |
Nice move, glad someone is rewarding education. Unlike the rave these days that rewards vices among youths. Reminds me of my secondary school days where I and my colleagues represented the school in quiz competitions televised on state TV.... The glory days |
This "wailing" phrase is now stale. It is silly seeing someone still using that term in 2023. Nobody is playing your childish "us-versus-them" game. Go and get a life, kid. Parachoko: |
And the disaster continues... Tinubu, just like Buhari... Same old man who is an ethnic god, who desperately wants to fulfil a lifelong ambition, voted in by 2sets of people: ethnic bigots and religious fanatics. Those of us who genuinely wanted a change are not many unfortunately. The bigots are much more in numbers, lets be honest. The bitter truth is that Tinubu ACTUALLY won the elections, the larger part of the southwest voted for him on ethnic loyalty ground, while up north, their clerics told them the muslim-muslim ticket was too juicy to pass up. Atiku had always been regarded as a munafikeen during all the time he romanced the southeast, so APC had all their votes. As for Obi, the muslim northerner would rather die of hunger, banditry than vote "an infidel". And you can't win Nigeria if you can't take even if its a quarter at least of such a vast demographic as the muslim north. That chasm was too wide, it cost Obi the elections, forget about the riggings here and there in the south, those were to pad up Tinubu's numbers to make the victory gap wider than it actually was. Lets brace up for the next 8years, anyone that can get out, should. |
What is all this seren-ren for? I watched Gbajabiamila being congratulated by state house correspondents yesterday after meeting with Tinubu on his appointment as Chief of staff and he said thanks. Lets move on to serious issues, there is work to be done to fix the country. |
Lol exactly! Difrent: |
The IGP looking shapeless like an amoeba. With his funny looking face, sometimes you wonder if that's a man or woman |

Nigeria's Flying Eagles, last night edged hosts Argentina 2-0 to qualify for the quarter finals of the ongoing Fifa U20 world cup. The match played at the San Juan stadium in Argentina saw the Nigerians hold their nerves against a highly rated Argentine side buoyed by feverish home support. The half time stalemate was broken by two second half goals which saw the Nigerians advance ahead of their hosts. https://supersport.com/football/fifa-u20-world-cup/video/3c6194d4-544d-44c1-a7d4-41af98082998/argentina-v-nigeria-match-highlights-fifa-u20-world-cup |
Now, I'm confused: Is this "price adjustment to reflect market realities" the same as "no-subsidy" price? If it is, then why is it coming in May instead of June ending? |
I think you were wrong... But then, I didn't read the story |
President Bola Tinubu in his inaugural address to the Nation says there is no budget for the fuel subsidy. So as a result, the fuel subsidy is gone. |
Okay |
*yawn... We don hear na. If the place is so good, I bet you won't want it to cast by writing epistles to convince us to come and join you. Some of us prefer naija, its a reality you have to accept. No be by force. |
They looted you dry and mortgaged the future of your kids with debts, and you're here bleating like a goat over tribal hatred? The joke is on you khalling2008: |
See non state actors brandishing high calibre weapons. All in a bid to establish some sort of "street credibility", and thereafter be rewarded with pipeline "protection" contracts... To protect the pipelines from themselves. Clown country. , leodking, mufasa and other clowns are howling over their tribes and religions. |
Far better than LG jamesversion: |
I don't know him. But may he rest in peace. Nigerians, please when reacting to the news of the death of a person, please can you direct the "rip" to that person? Writing just "rip" is senseless. Is it the person reading your comment you're telling to rest in peace? |
All these stress just to fvvck? Its not worth it abeg! PepperSauce: |
Bro you can be from any ethnic group, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're not jubilating because the person will turn the country around. And If that is not your reason for jubilating, bro na nonsense Stockholm syndrome jubilation you dey jubilate. I don't care about Obi, Atiku or Tinubu. Peacecore: |
Who is "you"? I'm not ibo. If you hate them so much, do I have to suffer as a result? Or is it just Ibos and Yorubas that are in this country? If two of you hate each other so much, you guys should leave Nigeria for the rest of ua and go and fight yourselves to death. Raf4: |
The same excuse "I don't want to waste my vote" , "I'm being realistic"... is what has kept us here. Lets join hands to start the change that will push better candidates forward. anonymous1759: |
I'm not Ibo. Obi was not my governor. It mustn't be Obi or Atiku, if not Tinubu. In a country of so many bright people, why does the system keep throwing up the worst? Aren't you tired? Why can't you see beyond the tribal, religious and party loyalty you're using to destroy your own future just for politicians to gain? Are you a slave? anonymous1759: |
I'm not Ibo. So can't you see how foolish your response is? Skankamola: |
Bro or sis, I don't know what you mean by my people, I'm not Ibo. You imps can't think beyond your hatred for those people. So you're determined to spoil the entire country of more than 300 ethnic groups cos you want to "teach ibos a lesson". lapintoz: |
The people jubilating are not doing so because they feel Tinubu will work to make Nigeria great. They are jubilating because to spite one ethnic group. It is like a sport to them. They don't care about their future or that of their kids. Africa is cursed with tribe and religion. As for the judgment most rational people were not expecting anything otherwise. Let everyone go and hustle and see in what way they can create happiness for themselves. |
