Imagine fellow oppressed citizens would rather back an oppressor to oppress them more all because of meaningless tribal affiliations. If you ask dapson, seunmsg, , Leo, etc what Tinubu stands to offer, they start chorusing "ipob, ibos" and other vile tribal tirades

Something I noticed on nairaland: Whenever Tinubu's presidential ambition comes up as a topic, and anyone says they don't want him to be president on account of factors like his age, his health, questionable source of wealth, dubious self-enrichment dealings in lagos, entrenchment of godfatherism and thuggery, ignoble role in foisting the current hardship on Nigerians with his support of Buhari and other reasons, his supporters have nothing intelligent to say in his defence other than start attacking a particular tribe, as if everyone is from that tribe. Some others start saying meaningless things like "he has made men" bla bla bla.
Before you get unfortunate, when you come to my mention, keep the tribal vitriol to yourself, I am not ibo. Whatever makes you hate the ibos so much has nothing to do with me.

You're very right. I am currently supervising a construction project and I can attest to all you have said. Personally, I regret not learning a trade to add to my formal education. I envy and marvel at these guys as they ACTUALLY do the work. It makes me feel like a fraud cos I can't actually do anything myself.
My kids and any young one around me will learn a trade in addition to formal education. It is the way to go

But if you bring elections today today and put an ibo man that has a noble heart and will make all these losses not happen and you bring this same Buhari,... they will still vote for Buhari. The tribal hatred in Nigeria is worth far more than the lives of husbands, sons, loved ones.

The idea was to increase the price of fuel. This so called scarcity was just a ruse to achieve that. If you've been buying fuel at 1k or 700 per litre as it currently is in abj, lagos and some other parts of the country, you will be glad when they tell you the product will be readily available at 250 per litre at filling stations without stress.
