The most futile exercise a govt can embark on is buying cars. In a few years, you won't see these cars again.
Whether under the guise of "empowerment" or any such political jargons, it is simply a means of awarding juicy procurement contracts to cronies.
If the govt is serious, it should focus attention to delivering intra-state fast light rail networks, link water ways, open up the hinterlands to spread development and aid decongestion of the city centre.

Okay. I am an engineer and an entrepreneur, into transportation (e-hailing and lease) and building construction management. etc. I agree with you. A chartered accountant is supposed to be one who has demonstrated both academic and practical experience over a period. Things like this expose.the flaw in our educational
and professional system, it exposes that ICAN is merely a paper qualification which any one with a retentive memory can ace. If 10year olds can cram and recite the full Quran, it is a no brainer that a 17year old can pass ICAN. We are too focused on paper qualifications in this country. That has to change
