If you convince the VO. (which you will not) you are likely to be stopped and sent home by the entry point officers.
Anyway if your school has said 2nd then you can not join up at a later date without permission.
So they will cancel your visa!

I don't think there is any risk of arrest.
You have a right to travel with your USA passport.
You have a right of entry into your home country.(Which your expired passport proves.)
The problem is Nigerian corrupt officials wanting something at point of entry.

In the past the advice has been.
Book your tickets and board the plane with your USA passport.
Enter Nigeria, your home country, with expired Nigerian passport.
Renew passport as soon as possible.
(A little money to ease Nigerian immigration might help. )

But I can not guarantee that they will let you board the aircraft without a Nigerian visa, you should check with the airline.

You neen to submit a fresh application for all your family that want to travel.

So have you not seen the hundreds of reports that Nigerian airport officials steal money from people?
People carrying large amounts of cash can be very vulnerable.

If you have proof that the visa is fake then get the police involved.
Contact police and get them to visit the fake agent for committing a crime!

Sorry but some facts that you must consider.
Your funds will not cover you for schooling in the U.K. o U.S.A.
(unless you have exceptional grades to obtain a scholarship.)

Might I suggest North Cyprus?
Ask on this section and ask advice from Mr wip7 who is helpful and honest.
Beware of anyone asking for PM, E-mail or secret phone calls, they will try to rob you.

If you can not look up something simple like that how will you do medical degree?
Will you ask for all the answers on a forum?

Then for example you need to research suitable companies and apply to them on line or by post sending your details and qualifications.
If they offer you a job then they can sponsor a visa for you.

Get a job in U.S and ask your employer to begin the initial application for you. This is what is applicable in UK, i should think it is the same for US too.

It must be "HIGHLY SKILLED JOB"
Things like medical doctor or engineer.
No chance with things like barbing or security!
