What do you expect contractors to say, that they are ready to make refunds? |
To think these are Niger-Deltans who see the squalor and penury of their people around them and all over the country makes it sad. Niger-Delta youths are struggling to survive within their states not to talk of the ones outside their states. They can never ever dream of getting any education or job if they cannot fight for it. I confidently went to submit application and CV for a federal university job in my state only for me to be asked if I have a letter, what type of letter I asked. My application letter is there. The guy looked at me, "I mean letter from your sponsor." "My sponsor ke! I have been sponsoring myself since my school days" I replied. "Okay, I mean a politician, like senator, commissioner, you know na" "I don't even know a local government chairman not to talk of commissioner or senator" I replied. "Okay ooh" he said as he checked through my documents and I left. That was the end of the story. |
omenka:THEY ARE NOT HUMANS! A MAN WHO SELLS HIS SOUL TO THE DEVIL AND SEALS IT WITH THE BLOOD OF A LOVED ONE HAS LOCKED HIS HEART TO PITY FOR ANYBODY. EXPECT NOTHING FROM SUCH! IT IS MORE THAN PAINFUL BROS! |
What are they registering for. If we have an organised data system the state governments should have records of those private schools registered and paying taxes in their states for the FG to get such list from them. Payment of taxes should be major prerequisite for giving any school that money. NO TAX PAYMENT, NO QUALIFICATION FOR SUCH PUBLIC FUNDS! |
Where did JAMB have the POWER to give such an order? |
If it's not up to 90 per cent of NASS members. Even those sitting on the committee may be implicated. That's why I know NOTHING may come out of this show of shame and evil. |
Don't this deserve to be in the front page? |
Teerach:What do you expect. As a bonafide Niger-Deltan, I crossed the sea to submit CV + application and the person whom I submitted to was asking for a covering letter from a sponsor. I knew there and then that it was over. You now balance it with the going ons at NDDC to know we are our own problems. |
2023: Time for the first female Nigerian President, Okonjo-Iweala. The race for Aso Rock villa is on openly and subtly by many interested Nigerians. Many permutations are going on about the prospective candidates many of whom are yet to express their interest in going for the herculean task of presiding over our great country. However, I believe the new Nigeria many of us want to see evolve in 2023 is one that is designed and driven by a very intelligent, well-exposed and internationally connected technocrat who would be able to harness the country's potentials for a well-organised post-covid Nigeria. A female president such as Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala should be encouraged by friends and foes to show interest in presiding over Nigeria. I know by then, age might no longer be on her side as she would be getting close to seventy years but with more experience draw from WTO, she would be in a good position to mentor younger generations to continue from where she has started. Youths and all Nigerians desirous of a new Nigeria come 2023 should begin the drive to draw Dr. Okonjo-Iweala into the race for the presidency of Nigeria.

PMB used to love Magu as a son. |
So an association like this exists in Nigeria? |
Anuoluwa1234:Munir also caught my attention. So, Nwoko is a Niger Delta/ South South Muslim? Interesting! |
And they expect PMB all the way from Katsina to come develop the Niger-Delta for them! |
This road belongs to the Federal Government of Nigeria. ![]() |
7lives:You captured what I always say, how can you run down every one who has ever been a leader? When I see some Igbo friends run down their leaders from Azikiwe to Ojukwu to Okadigbo to Obi, I wonder if the Igbos can ever get the President position. |
AllTheWayUp:Hmm! The game is on... :- |
Suswan has only 'leaked' a 'secret.' The North has no intention of getting out of Aso Rock soon. APC, though fragmenting, has Tinubu, Aregbesola, ElRufai, Osinbajo et al eyeing Aso Rock but it will zone President to the South (west) and dissatisfied northern candidates will move to the PDP who would have zoned the slot to the North with option for Eastern VP to play the South East against the South west. In all of these, the South East is the loser for not having a UNITED FRONT. |
VirginSearcher:Share the knowledge pls |
Birds of identical plumage congregate. I have always asked which business/factory/industry does Dino Melaye has apart from being a politician. APC hands clean abi? ![]() |
Two revelations I had this season: 1. Gratitude is a debt! 2. Whoever gives me ANYTHING has made a sacrificial decision because whatever given to me could as well be given to someone else or used for something personally beneficial to the owner. Jesus asked the leper who turned back to thank Him about the other lepers just to teach Christians the need to show gratitude. |
Sack the poor Nigerians and pay return ticket for kora/indians abi? |
southniyikaye:Hello, do you have the machine to roast groundnut/peanut or know how I can get it? Thank you. |
Hope they cannot force parents to kuku take their children to school! A word is enough for the wise! ![]() |
This news got me very angry last night when I saw it. The boldness of the injustice and the helplessness of the deprivation is so sad! NNPC building hospital!!!! |
With 21k you get a NEW tecno F1 phone. |
It is not a piece of good news at this time. Sadly, we can only pity them as NOBODY can help them. But is it not too early to sack people especially by ATIKU who we thought MAY salvage the economy? |
