It is helpful. Please ask for the letter.

Most importantly, ensure your account statement is clean and you have sufficient funds for the trip and some savings left after your take out the expenses for the trip. Fill your form carefully and pray. I know unemployed people who got visas. Good luck!

I appreciate your response. Many thanks.

I have a question. Does a part-time role where you work as an unpaid volunteer count as being employed in the UK visa application context? Secondly, will a letter from the organization where you work part-time suffice as evidence of a tie? This is assuming it counts as being employed. @cashmadam

Please, I need your thoughts.

I wish to apply for the Standard Visitors visa to attend my graduation in July. My funds are in my personal UK account. Will this be tenable or do I have to change them to naira since I am applying from Nigeria?

please why did you say this cause I’m planning on getting my ticket with them. Kindly share your experience

Don't get me wrong. It wasn't about the airline.
I had a good experience flying VA. My submission was based on the associated stress of the UK government adding Nigeria to the red list.

What are the army and police doing? Issuing arms to individuals who have no constitutional rights to bear weapons is not the right approach. There is a lot of arms in circulation in Nigeria already. We are sitting on a keg of gun powder.

Lol... Thanks for your concern dear. but I draw inspiration from various travellers such as Drew Binsky who has been to Afghanistan, Somalia, North Korea, Iraq, Iran etc. I believe I would be there one day when tensions calm down
I like this thread. I'm a big fan of Drew Binsky. Dude has visited over 200 countries. I hope you will match that record someday.

The title and content of this thread is misleading. Op, how many commuters did you see riding those horses because of traffic? Myself and team drove past this location today and saw those horses with some random guys riding them to an unknown location. It doesn't even look as if they're trying to escape the gridlock as they seem to be having fun.

Quick question: Did anyone here also apply for Technical Trainee? I'm beginning to think that particular recruitment process has been discontinued.
