wey ministerial list? Na that one "consign" me |
This is a scam. My friend has a masters degree in Geography and Regional Planning, he has been trying to get a job for sometime. Last year July, he was invited in a federal polytechnic where he had submitted his CV for about 6 months. One of the federal polytechnics in the east. When he got there he was given a letter of appointment as Lecturer III without interview. He was so surprised that the appointment was backdated to January 2018. Three of them were given the surprise appointment. He shew me the letter and I told him to be careful as they might just want to use them for accreditation. He said they reported to the HOD and were asked to stay in HOD office. One week after he called me to inform me that NBTE accreditation team had arrived and I reminded him I said it. They were busy doing accreditation things for a whole week. After that week, they were invited to registrar office where they were asked to photocopy their letter of appointment and fill some forms which include supplying their account details. The original letters of appointment were later withdrawn from them and asked to go till they'll get in touch with them later. The following day they got alert of 25k in their accounts and have been expecting the institution to call them since last year. No such thing has happened. He has written three letters of reminder without response. The worst scenario is that the institution has recruited lecturers recently and three new lecturers were employed into the department that scammed my friend. My guy is of the opinion that we don't make noise about it to see whether they can still consider him for employment. He said an assistant registrar in the school told him that only the politicians who are the governing board members brought all the new workers that were appointed recently. I have asked him to write the chairman of the governing board but he didn't get any reply. Please, what can he do, he has the photocopy of their appointment letter with him. Can he sue the institution to court? |
This woman don old ooo, abi na because dem carry her comot for Lagos? Abi no be Dolapo wey dey form small girl for Lagos few years ago! |
dukie25:Ali Ndume won't get up to 40 votes, mark my words |
NewsMuncher:who appointed him? |
I expected this. Just to embarrass APC and President Buhari at all cost, PDP has failed this time. |
kennybabs1980:"SHE WILL INVESTIGATE TIRE" your boss is a serious Casanova who is not willing to change anytime soon, I rejoice with you op, at least you are free from the woman now, let them face their family issues by themselves |
daewoorazer:Correct advise, though the plate of eba thing sounds hilarious! |
Boss13:Wey the job bros, na so e easy? |
This is one of the mess one gets into with these promiscuous ogas and his jealous wife. Why can't women face their business and have peace of mind? She knew her husband is a Casanova yet she married him only for her to now be looking for who to use as sacrificial lamb. @OP, if you dare say anything to the wife, consider yourself sacked and you know how country be o. Don't tell the man anything for now, move the equipment first, when he ask you why, then tell him in a very serene environment and beg him never to put up a fight with his wife so that you won't later blame yourself. |
Good one |
Asetime:Bless your beautiful soul. I'm working on this already. Somewhere away from all of us especially Clara's mum. |
The new twist is that Clara had become too sensitive and would suspect every thing her husband does, she wants to have foreknowledge of every steps and moves Dave makes, she want to control everything about her husband. Where he goes, who he relates with, she didn't even want to see any member of Dave's family in their home, she has not hidden his disdain for Dan from day 1 of their marriage, in fact, she once told me she hates everyone in computer village including Dan, her brother-in-law. She want to determine who Dave helps, what he donate to church, family and friends etc. Dave have vehemently resisted these attitudes of his wife. Clara told their senior pastor last week that she didn't know her husband's investments and worth and that he spends money without carrying her along as his wife. She also accused him of having extramarital affairs with one of his workers named Juliet whom they both knew in their church before Dave employed her as a warehouse manager. Dave denied the allegation, their pastor who was instrumental to Juliet's employment had to wade in before Clara would agree and calm down. Clara's mum is another big issue in their relationship. She was the one who taught her daughter never to assist Dave with her money when things weren't going on well with him. She often narrates the nasty experience she went through in the hand of Clara's dad to her according to Dave. The old woman told everybody who cared to listen including myself in the presence of some pastors from their church last week that Clara made Dave and that he was a pauper when he married her daughter in 2009. She said all men are the same, that men will always deviate after "their wives" have struggled to help them rise. She even said she told Clara not to marry Dave because of his background, she said poor boys cannot be trusted, that they'll always misbehave when they become comfortable. I heard all manner of things from the woman that day, too bad! That woman is very difficult as I can observe and Clara didn't do anything to call her mum to order even in the presence of her pastors and myself. Clara even told everyone in their house that day that I know how she took Dave out of the dungeon of poverty and made him a real man, a statement that looked more like someone narrating a dream to me, I had to be reticent though, thank God the people there, their pastor and his wife knew about almost everything from the beginning. Dave and Clara has two boys who are now 9 and 7 year old respectively. Hello, nairalanders, why are some women so complicated like this? When Dave was poor, it was problem everyday, now that things are picking up for him, its wahala. Dave now stays more at work than at home against his wish. He goes to work on Saturdays instead of resting at home. Sometimes, he'll go with his boys whom he love to be with so much. The business has helped him to explore opportunities abroad especially in China, Singapore, Indonesia and some European countries where Sade's dad had business alliances. Dave told me he is always in the haven of peace anytime he is abroad. Clara that we used to know as a gentle and easy going beautiful lady of our university days have become a thorn in the flesh of my good, quiet and easygoing friend Dave. This thing called marriage, na wa o. Can you please drop any matured advise for Dave dear friends? Thank you so much. #concluded! |
The years 2013, 2014 and 2015 were extremely difficult for Dave as he had to really struggle hard to meet his obligations to his immediate family, his wife didn't bother about his ordeals as long as family needs are met. He kept hope alive while struggling to grow his business. During the Christmas time of 2015, he hit gold through one of our old university friends named Sade, a lady who has been living in the United States with her husband immediately after their wedding in 2007. She came home for xmas and Dave met her by chance in a bank. Her father is a very big and wealthy Lagos based businessman. One of his companies represents a Chinese firm that's into computer and accessories sales and services in Nigeria and West Africa. Through Sade's intervention and insistence, Dave was able to come into a collaboration with this big company by becoming an independent agent for them across the southwestern States, Kwara, Kogi, Edo and Delta States. His contacts during his radio days helped him tremendously. Dave did so well to the extent that Sade's dad quickly made him a partner in the his company. Clara on the other hand had also risen higher in her office but whatever she earns today cannot be compared to her husband's income that have grown phenomenally. But the crack in their home did not heal even with the rise in their resources, rather a new twist emerged. #to be continued! |
Dave and I have been friends since 1999 during our university days. Dave met Clara around 2003 when we were already in our final year. She was a 200 level student at the faculty of social sciences then. Clara was beautiful, bold, brilliant and easygoing as far as I could recollect. Dave is an electrical-electronic engineer by training, so after NYSC, he got a job with a private radio station in Lagos with an average emoluments. Clara read economics, she got a job with a consulting outfit on the island in January, 2009, they got married in October 2009. At the time of their marriage, Clara was earning twice her husband's salary. Clara happened to be a young woman who is too close to her mother, a woman who raised her two children (all females) as a single mother. I learnt that her dad, a pharmacist had issues with Clara's mum and relocated from Lagos to Ile-Ife where he took up a job with the university and later settled down with another woman. The first negative sign Dave claimed to have noticed in his wife few months into their marriage was her lack of respect for him and his views on almost all issues. He said she was always telling him to look for a better paying job as she won't be able to keep putting up with the "peanut" being offered by the private station. The most amazing part of the story according to Dave is that Clara was in the know about his pay when they were still dating and she didn't raise eyebrows about it then. She kept her money to herself while the husband takes care of the home. Dave said that most times, he is usually left with nothing after paying the bills of the home and that he had to get involved in advert hunts for his station as a way of making extra pay part-time but that his schedule at the station didn't really give him the opportunity to go far in this and that most of the adverts he got from his church and church members which are his major clients usually yield little or no commission sometimes. They had issues from time to time with Clara telling her husband its his responsibility to take care of the home and that she'll help only if she want to. Dave said her ways of "helping" are usually annoying. She'll get her pay by month end and take their wedding pictures to the studio for enlargement, reshaping and other forms of decorations in their house, she would later fight Dave for not appreciating her gesture. Things like food, water, gas, rent, creche bills, electricity, laundry, basic home appliances etc must be bought or maintained by Dave. By 2012, they have had 2 kids and the responsibilities became huge for Dave which made him to save some money, liquidate his coop savings in his office, took loan from his twin brother Dan and some of us his friends and then resigned from the radio station to venture into computer sales and services. He has always had interest in this business since his NYSC days which he observed in a computer firm at the FCT. Dave's twin brother who is educated only to school certificate level is also a guru in computer and ICT equipment which he learnt as an apprentice for 8 years. Dan has always encouraged his brother to venture into the line, that it's a very lucrative business. Dan does his business at the computer village, Ikeja. #to be continued |

babyfaceafrica:cheated on Tony? Not at all. She partly financed Tony's relocation to Canada in 2011, he started playing the truant game on her since early 2012 and has blocked every means of communication with her since 2015. So there's no case of cheating on Tony here. If anything, its Tony that has explanation to make as to why he disappointed her. |
GMPO:where is Atiku today brother? In Aso Rock? I have been predicting the outcome of elections since 1992. Were you born then? |
Toyin has been my friend since our university days in the early 2000s. We were in the same department, so we do a number of things together such as practicals, assignments and reading. She is a very matured and pleasant lady. After graduation we went our separate ways but got close again when in 2008 we met at an interview for a job in a federal establishmefnt. It was like a happy reunion thing. The two of us were employed eventually but on assumption of office, we were posted to different departments. However we continued to be close. I got married in 2008 and she participated fully and gave me necessary supports. I knew a guy with her then but she didn't really discuss much about him with me, but I knew they were dating each other. I attended her younger sister's wedding in 2009 and that of her younger brother in 2012. Toyin and I discussed about her relationship with Tony elaborately for the first time in 2012, she said Tony had travelled and had started behaving funny and that she will get hooked to any suitable man that approaches her for marriage. That was not to be as she claimed that the guys she met didn't show seriousness to marriage. In 2015, I noticed that something was going on between her and one of the contractors handling civil works in our establishment. I asked her and she told me its just a casual thing as the man is married. Toyin have become so agitated because of this situation. I have to encouraged her to live well and get herself basic things of life. I helped her get a car when she refused to buy one because she listened to people who said she may not be able to get a man if she begin to live well, drive car etc, you know all those trash. Toyin sent a message to me on Sunday 31st of March that she has an important information for me but unfortunately I was on my way to Kano for an official assignment when her message came in. I asked her to let's discuss through WhatsApp which she declined. I met with her on my arrival yesterday and she narrated how the contractor man got her pregnant only for him to just send 50k to her for abortion. I shouted when she mentioned the word abortion. I told her to keep the baby and take care of him or her by herself if the man isn't ready for her. At least, she isn't in any relationship that could be marred by the pregnancy and at her age, I don't think abortion is a good option. Toyin is now 42. She said her brother and sister have said the same thing and that they promised to explain it to their parents if need be. Do you think my advise is wrong? Do you think she should abort the pregnancy and continue her waiting for the right guy? |
This tab "hangs" each time I'm using it. I once reset all apps and install new ones yet the persists, kindly help me here please. |
flowx:Lol..... We were here when ATIKU got 3000 likes and Buhari 17 shares, where did it end? |
I struggled through school. It was tough in those days. Thank God I got a job with the FG two years after graduation. I'm on level 12 now with a monthly pay of less than 140k. Married to a teacher on about 70k with 2 kids. With an aged mother and siblings to care for. I have assisted 3 of my siblings out of the university, 2 are already working while 1 is still on my neck even after NYSC. The major issue now is that my extended family members are expecting too much from me, they'll send their children and some of them will always make demand directly. I try as much as possible to give my widows mite but many of them are nor satisfied with the gesture. They always believe I can do more. On my wife's advise, I tried to explain things to some of them but they aren't really yielding to voice of reason. One recently said her I should help her daughter to secure a job as if I'm the chief executive of my organization. She told whoever cared to listen that I helped my mother's son but refused to help her daughter meanwhile my brother got his job through the president of an ALUMNI association I belong to. These people are too much on my neck, please, I need help on how to handle them. |

A 77 year old as US President ![]() |
GMPO:only that you'll run here to shout rigging, Atiku will win big in Taraba, he will win marginally in Adamawa if at all he win. Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe and Borno belong to Buhari. In the northcentral, Atiku will win only in Plateau and Benue marginally, Mark my words. |
That road need serious attention |
My senior pastor is an ardent supporter of Atiku and PDP. He once occupied a political position under Dr Goodluck Jonathan's administration. He was before that time a banker with the now liquidated Oceanic Bank. He has never been a fan of Buhari even though he once told me he would have moved to APC if Osinbajo whom he knew in RCCG years ago is being fielded. Unfortunately for him now, he is pastoring a parish that is made up of 60% youths who are somehow indifferent to whoever wins the February 16 election and older men and women who may likely pitch their tents with APC and Buhari since majority of them are civil servants and pensioners who sees regular payment of salaries and pension since last year as an achievement of the present APC government in Ondo State and the PMB led federal government. One won't blame them because they saw hell when the last government of Dr Mimiko stopped paying salaries and pensions in 2016. Now this pastor will use every opportunity to talk about the need to kick out the "sick old man", "lying party", "bunch of lifeless guys" etc which is not going down well with many of the oldies. His wife have also been toeing the same line. They are also in this habit of calling anyone who differ on political issues things like stupid, blindfolded, cohorts etc. Things got to a head last Sunday when a particular man, a teacher with the state had to confront our pastor's wife openly during Sunday school. The outburst of this man is better imagined, it won't be pleasant saying those things here. But he said some families have stopped coming to the parish because of the pastor's political inclinations and intolerance of members with different opinions. I think someone's political preferences should be left out of one's service to God. I have booked an appointment with our zonal pastor to quickly beg him to help look into things before the church scatter if care is not taken. |
oluwadabira111:Atiku will not get up to 40% in Oyo, Ekiti and Osun. He will do well in Ondo and Ogun because the governors have issues with the APC at national levels, so APC isn't intact in those states. Ondo governor AKETI has been so uninspiring politically too when compared to his politically sagacious predecessor. Atiku's 40% is assured. Atiku may also perform well say 30-40% in Lagos because of the Igbo populations but take note of the fact that everything GEJ used to get the number he got in Lagos in 2015 are now firmly in APC'S possession. |
Anambralstson:Mark my words, Atiku will not defeat Buhari in any southwestern state, he may have up to 40/45% in some of the states. |
DonFreshmoney:All these shout of southeast giving Atiku 90% is balderdash. Whatever Atiku will get in the entire southeast will be rubbished with whatever Buhari will get in his home state of Katsina only. SE has 9million voters, Kano only has over 7 million votes. Go and sit down joor. |
