How about Penticost University Ozubulu by the Anglican church?... The Redeemed University Nkpor/Ogidi will also be added in no distant future. Nnewi Catholic diocese is also in the final stages of their own University in Nnewi area!

The Redeemed, is that Pastor Adeboyes’ Church?

is there any world renowned university run by the catholic church?

Not checked, but there should be! Just seen a post above that reeled out names of universities owned by the Catholic Church, but it’s obvious they are not striving to be among the best in the country. Besides Madonna university, i’ve never heard of any of them before!

THIS UNIVERSITY IS BEING SPONSORED BY THE CATHOLIC ARCHDIOCESE OF ONITSHA ANAMBRA STATE. THE BLESSING AND CUTTING OF LAND DONE FEW MINUTES AGO. THIS WILL BE A MASTERCLASS!

It’s about time the Catholic Church brings a truly world-class university to the south-east! They’ve been in Onitsha for more than a hundred years, and are arguably the richest church in the world, so nothing but the best is expected of them!

Anyone know if Madonna University is owned by the church?

Dude, you're all over this thread! It's like you've seen an opening given to you by Asari Dokubo and you're using it to the fullest!

If Biafra and Mazi Kanu are nothing and not to be taken seriously, then why the hell are you and your devilish ilk investing so much of your time on this thread posting bile-filled comments against the Igbos you despise so passionately? There's suicide on unprecedented levels, mass unemployment, kidnapping, ritual murder, terrorism, etc....threads on this hardly get your attention and hardly passes two pages, but once Mazi Kanu or IPOB are mentioned, you bastards fall over yourselves to make series of anti-Igbo/IPOB/Biafra comments, stretching the thread to many pages of abuse, inanity and drivel!

You actions belies the fact that Mazi kanu and IPOB have actually given you nightmares! Looks like it terrifies you that your shithole of a country is on tenterhooks and that there's a possibility that you'd be left by your wretched self with no oyel and Igbos/Biafrans to abuse and leech off of!

Politics / Re: Is Population Of The Northern A Reality Or A Fraud? by Xander85: 11:00am On Apr 25, 2019
olatunyemi:

Let me say the little I know about Nigeria population which is not read in book or heard on radio but the pure fact.

1. Census is a scam. Those brothers then in 2006 who were yet to marry were recorded as married men with at least two children each. That was to inflate the figures. Now, some of them are event yet to marry or has just a kid. What about our mortality rate?

2. North population is not as much as they are parading it but they are growing geometrically day by day. I am currently in Katsina and here you see a woman with 17 children. Sadly, this woman's husband has 4 wives with each given birth to 10 children each.

The solution to this population issue that there should be electronic counting. The next census should not be on paper as that's inflating our figures.

The damn thing is our government isn't ready.

Hehehehe grin grin grin

And you think the core muslim north will sit by jejely and watch as you bring in 'electronic counting' that will give a true representation of our population and put sand for their garri? You didn't see how they used mago-mago to avoid signing the electoral bill in to law that would have given legal backing to electronic voting/counting/transmission-of-results....which is kinda similar to what you're suggesting for a accurate census?

Don't you see how they're shouting that any figures electronically transmitted to INECs server are not admissible in court because Buhari didn't sign the electoral bill in to law, hence those figures Atiku/PDP are touting must be the ones they saw in their drug-induced delirium? They got it all figured out long before, while naive southerners like you and i didn't even have a clue!

Bros, these people are very cunning and they always plan ahead! wink

As much as these non-igbos troll and derail these threads, Enugu, Abia and Imo state have always elected underachievers as Governor. This is what is giving them confidence to do these things coupled with ethnic hate.
I can't believe ndi enugu are okay with someone like gburugburu or whatever he is called. Abia's case is irredeemable and i'm hoping Ihedioha does well in Imo.

You’re right about the kind of governors voted into office in our states since 1999. But it’s a nationwide thing, and not just limited to the 5 south-east states.

However, i think the quality is generally improving with each subsequent election cycle; unless of course you’re talking of Abia...which has never had a half-decent governor, and Enugu...which seems to have taken one step backwards from the time of Chime!

The fool is the one that thinks things will change in this country for the better if we continue doing the same thing our parents have been doing since the late 60s! Enugu is not a scam, biko
I think Enugu has a leadership problem, but it is being downplayed because there's no vibrant opposition.
How can the same party be ruling a state since 1999 and everyone thinks it's fine?
On the other hand, I seem to have a problem with those praising Ugwuanyi because the infrastructure in the state is going down.
Each time I visit, I see dilapidated infrastructure - a town that Sullivan completely transformed.
What I don't understand is why Enugu guys on Nairaland praise Ugwuanyi.
For me, that man is the worst Enugu governor since 1999.
Yes, Chimaroke Nnamani did a great job in that state.

I’m not one of those that praises him! Personally, i’m not impressed with his first term in office! Remember how this thread was thriving when Sullivan was Governor?

If not for an unbearable inferiority complex, why pull those other threads down and leave yours. Imo and Enugu threads are close or more than 600 pages...but yours is struggling to get to 260. When you remove all the bad images you post there, the good stuff won't get beyond 120 pages. Why not try and have self-esteem. Is this why all these other threads must End? GHM.
