SUPERPACK:I know the one you’re talking about! Those structures Elechi built were sub-par and not fit for purpose! They were knocked down for what you see on ground presently! Just wish the Umahi admin’ built their secretariat as well! I’m sure he would have built something much more grand and world-class than the ugly 4-storied buildings Elechi put up there! They remind me of the old Faculty of social-sciences building at UNN! ![]() |
McCoy662:The new airport will compliment all these projects nicely and, together with resource ownership, would help catapult Ebonyi into the league of top 5 most viable states in the country! ![]() |
I’m yet to see any concerted effort at landscaping any of these projects we’re seeing in Ebonyi! They may give the excuse that the jobs are not finished, but seeing the stage some of them have reached, you’d have expected to at least see the beginnings of the effort! The ecumenical centre for instance has been finished, but asides the fountain not much in the way of landscaping can be seen in its location! |
williams2kg:To be frank, i’m fed up with this failed state called Nigeria! If we stay together under the existing political and economic structures....another 60 years from now we will still be grappling with issues and problems that have confronted us since ‘independence’, while countries like Ghana and Rwanda would have progressed so far that catching up with them would be impossible! |
Bugatie:All those people saying Ebonyi shouldn’t have an airport now are just being jealous and trying to derail or postpone the destiny of the state! Ignore the daft mofos! |
stevmatt15:Hehehehe ![]() |
NigeriaIsDoomed:Their lust for power to return to the muslim north and them giving in to their anti-christian and anti-Igbo sentiments made them overlook the obvious shortcomings and antecedents of Buhari in 2015 and go on to declare him the best thing since sliced bread! |
Wickedfacts:Did anyone ask her to? |
I find all this talk of which state/region/ethnicity is more ‘developed’ than the others....esp’ since it’s Nigeria we’re talking about! All things considered, i’m impressed with what Ndigbo have achieved as a people thus far in Nigeria, but feel we’re being held down from reaching our full potential by the political-economy in place from the late 60s to date! I believe all regions/ethnicities could benefit from a change in the status-quo, but as things are presently, the core north has been cheating other regions (esp’ the south-east and south-south) by monopolising power at the centre and the feeding-bottle ‘federal’ system of gov’t that allocates resources based on fictional population numbers and useless, huge landmass....not to mention taking ownership and control of other peoples resources! |
Rubbish! It’s not as if you nasty bigots would be falling over yourselves to vote for him in 2023 if he decides to contest! The one he contested in 2019 without going to any ‘forbidden burial ceremony’, didn’t you declare Atiku guilty-by-association for picking a ‘nyamuree/okoro’ as his running mate? |
Recent view of some parts of Enugu. Nice, but they need to put more effort into sweeping and tidying up the busy/commercial parts of the city, and repaint the road-markings as well. Clip courtesy Milly Mally. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GFESVsk7qA |
Villagemeat:They are cowards, and only go after unsuspecting, defenceless individuals and villages! One-on-one, they CANNOT face their victims either in a fist-fight or on a community level once everyone is armed equally! But as things stand today, they're protected by the Nigerian state and this is what gives them the boldness to come down south to murder and terrorise people, so it would not be wise to invite them to come try their madness in your state as they would get away with it and nothing will happen! ![]() |
ChilamNk:Even if something is done, they'd be released through the back door when no one is looking! |
mgbadadike:They think Ndigbo is their problem in this country....that but for Ndigbo their country will be paradise! Notice all these bigots that are on Igbo/Biafra/kanu affairs 24/7 don't devote this much time and energy to facing their Buhari, terrorism, insecurity and the stark underdevelopment and socila dislocation that stares them in the face everyday! |
NigeriaIsDoomed:Hehehehe ![]() |
Esseite:Life has become worthless in this country! 30 human beings are slaughtered -for the second time in one week- and life goes on regardless! In saner climes, people would be out on the streets demonstrating...and the National Assembly would be preparing the articles of impeachment to get rid of that disaster in Aso Rock! |
One of the reasonable and liberal-minded northern muslims! The north would have measured up with the south in all developmental indices if the likes of him and Sanusi were the leaders of thought and the ones calling the shots....instead of the likes of Buhari and Gandollar! |
In saner climes, this is enough for the Fulani bigot Hadi-Sirika to throw in his resignation! But he’s there for a purpose that has little to do with bettering the Aviation industry in Nigeria as a whole! |
Bayelsa dodged a bullet there! ![]() |
gidgiddy:Notice how they're sneakily trying to point you (Biafra) in the direction of the useless National Assembly that they control and which is full of greedy, self-serving, anywhere-belle-face politicians (of all ethnicities) who are primed to torpedo any talk of referendum or secession just to protect and preserve their hustle! ![]() |
Anwons:Some may even argue that Nigeria IS their business! |
JasonScoolari:Hehehehe ![]() |
blacknp:Your bragging with your gov’t-enabled Forbes billionaires rings hollow in the face of your desperation for ‘one Nigeria’ to continue....continue with the very people you claim are dispensable, a nuisance, and don’t measure up to you ‘gifted’ shmucks in business! The very same people you claim to be better than are clamouring for secession; and then there’s you....clinging on to ‘one Nigeria’ like you can’t imagine life without it! You kid no one with your bluffing mate! |
Fasindo:Hehehehe ![]() Even though they’re yearning for it....they’d probably suspiciously look at the offered plate of tasty jollof rice with corner-eye, debating within themselves whether it’s poisoned or not! ![]() |
Racoon:Shows you the difference in class and breeding between the followers of both parties! ![]() |
OzilBaba50:Precisely! The despot Buhari would have dispensed with legal niceties and sent a Fulani assassin to go complete what his soldiers couldn’t when they invaded his home about 2 years ago! |
durangokid:Hehehehe ![]() Reminds me when we used to ima njakiri in university with our Mbaise friends! Something to do with the choice you have to make if a Mbaise man and a snake enter your house.......! |
Vickym1:Precisely! They will continue to suffer because they don't want to call a spade a spade and say it as it is! Everything is politics to these fools! Maybe they're afraid if they don't appear to 'love' Buhari that power will go to the south! |
Not only the US....the EU should also ban their corrupt asses as well! If they want to travel out, let them go to Somalia! |
OzilBaba50:Hehehehehe ![]() It does appear Obaseki is ready for the short man doesn't it? He's seen that playing the 'compliant nice guy' is not good for longevity in politics.....Ambode discovered this truism a bit too late! ![]() |
