kerzhim: It's just so unfortunate for David Lyon. The incompetence of the so called competent lawyers Chief Afe Babalola (SAN), and Olanipekun (SAN) cost him a good 4 years mandate. They claim to be the best of the best but failed to understand that when you are dealing with court case concerning a change of name, you don't come with a mere "AFFIDAVIT" as if you are dealing with banks. You need a court stamped "DEED POLL" because that's the only document the court will recognise. Hehehehehe Charge and bail lawyers! They were drunk with all the praise that went straight to their heads......they now felt they could take on their chi (Supreme Court) in a fight! |

Imagine the OP? why did you not compare Lagos and Anambra, or Imo in terms of localised tribal dialect?
But exposed your foolishness asking of a state in South South ?
Please leave this foolish Igbo hatred and do something useful with your life. And they usually use Igbo monikers to make it appear all 'innocent'! |

globemoney: Please stop this. This is not anything to be happy about. There is virtually no state in Nigeria without the Chinese, it reeks of inferiority complex to be posting them here to prove we are doing better, worst they could even be racists. They have come here to make money just like we go there to make money, nothing special about it. I guess it’s people like you that provide these Chinese with military and police escorts to be intimidating road users, something they cannot try in their country You're missing the point! I don't think the issue of their morality or views on race is the question here....rather what Ansmedia is trying to say is that Anambra state is relatively peaceful enough and has the business opportunities and environment to be able to attract foreigners to work and live! The state has to start somewhere! It's the Chinese today....tomorrow, the Americans and Europeans! |

IPOB has since transcended all known boundaries and are getting membership from across ethnic and regional lines to become a symbol of independent thinking.
OP, you need to join IPOB for your life to have any meaningful use. IPOB is an ideology whose time has come! |

Agboriotejoye: You're talking about ports when you've not talked about people by m buying your agric products first. Truth is if you see agriculture as the only option for the north, then the doom is worse than imagined.
Concerning ports, the reason why Lagos ports is used only by Nigeria is because it is congested. If Nigeria breaks up, activities at the ports will reduce but definitely not die. Lagos itself is a mega market. So no such thing like freedom to use the port. Plus, check round you which landlocked country in Africa have you seen to be economically buoyant? Those giving you access to the sea will be the ones dictating your terms of trade. On the bolded: Rwanda, Botswana and Ethiopia are all landlocked countries and are presently doing better socially and economically than countries like Nigeria and Somalia that have access to the sea! Also, those giving you access to the sea can only dictate the terms of the association if they’re the only option! If a landlocked country is contiguous with more than one country with sea access, it then becomes the ‘beautiful bride’ that will be courted to do business with! Ethiopia had the option of choosing either Eritrea or Djibouti and chose the latter! |
Politics › Re: Why The North Won't Suffer by XANDERBOY85: 7:53am On Feb 21, 2020 |
The north -core north, because i don’t foresee a situation where the middle-belt will wanna tag along with them- will initially find it more difficult than the south because they’re the least prepared for separation, and they have a large/unwieldy population! Also, they have the most social dislocation of all the regions!
However, they have some proud elite among them and wouldn’t want to be seen as failures in comparison to the south! I would imagine that in about 10 years after separation, they will begin to find their feet! |
