Nope, stop the attache by force moreover, south west produces more crude than south east
You come across as being so insecure and pathetic! Why is it that when south-south and south-east are mentioned as one, you get hysterical and go in to a blind state of panic, but when they talk of 'one north' it doesn't register in your Igbo hating brain?

For your information, i'm Igbo and from that so called south-south!

Every man you listed up there got govt patronage too

Just that Dangote was the most strategic

So just cut the B.S.
'Most strategic' my black ass! The main reason he's the richest is because he's Fulani and the Fulani have had Nigeria in their pocket since the late 60s!

I may agree with your argument if you said he trumped his fellow Fulani billionaires like Rabiu because he was the 'most stategic' of the lot of them!

Were you so blinded with bigotry to not see that the two Northerners on that list made their billions from Cement under our earth (Abdulsamad's CCNN that is minting him billions is located in Sokoto and uses Sokoto limestone) and had nothing with SS, not to talk of SE audio oil?

Wail on
grin
He's right!!!

If you guys are such wizards in business, why don't you go form a country of your own and leave us to our 'audio oyel'?

Sourcing of raw materials is just part of running and sustaining a business! A lot has to do with gov't policies and gov't support....especially if you're trying to be monopolistic and run your competitors out of town!

You're a shame
I should school you anyway;
The Igbos don't run an elitist but egalitarian culture unlike other tribes.
You can hardly visit any town and you say this family has been the richest over generations or over 20yrs.
Wealth is spread across board.
Besides this, succeeding the war, every Igbo was handed 20bill (I've got no problem with this since they involved in a war & had to be punished) while the Hausas & Yorubas shared oil monies. The 2 Yorubas up there had oil money especially we all know the story behind Alakija's; it wasn't out of sheer ingenuity but pure political reason.
Kudos to the Igbos from 20bill is strong today
I knew a thread like this will bring out the vile Igbo haters! Just ignore the fools!

What does it profit a monopolistic man if he gains the whole world, but suffers the indignity of his region/ethnicity being declared as the headquarters of poverty in the world!?

The dickheads never factor in the lopsided political-economy that's been in place since the late 60s that has placed the entire country into the pockets of a few individuals from 'chosen' ethnic groups! They go to bed and sleep well insofar as they believe the Igbos are behind them on all fronts, but the moment a Igbo becomes the leader in any sector, they get all restless and start plotting how to either ruin his business or bring him down a peg or two....like we've seen with Air Peace, INNOSON and IBETO cement!

PoliticsRe: Why Is There Hatred Between Yorubas & Igbos? by XANDERBOY85: 8:33pm On Feb 12, 2020
The simple reason why we’re at each other’s throats is because we (the three big ethnicities) are forced into a country being governed by a unitary system of gov’t, in which the centre is all-powerful....appropriates the wealth of all the regions, and redistributes same in an unfair and illogical manner....and where one of the big three refuses to accept the freedoms and inalienable right of other ethnicities to exist with whomsoever they feel safe and comfortable with!

This is the koko of the matter!

I don’t think Igbos could ever get on fine and amicably with the Fulani; but concerning the Yoruba...i feel there’s scope and possibilities to co-exists peacefully if we give each other space and each have control of our resources, regions and our destiny!

Those Centenary City developers are not serious! 2 years now will make it a decade that business initiative was first launched, and there’s hardly anything on ground to match up with what was depicted in the snazzy 3D rendering....certainly nothing near the $500 million purported cost!

eagleu:
If you were denied West African history by those who don't want you to know the truth, just know that the murderous Othman dan fodio came to palace of the sarkin of the area.

Mohammed was his name, and Fodio killed him on the pretext of practicing "impure" islam.
Using tricks, he endeared himself to the king, found his weakness, and then overthrew him in his own palace. When the late sarkin's people protested, he mowed them down with army of his followers from Futa Jalon.

As a reward, he sent his cousin to Kano, where they executed the same strategy. And the rest of Hausa kingdoms from Katsina to Daura was history.

Othman dan fodio was blood thirsty savage who should not be worshipped in anyway.

BTW, this is why they stopped teaching this history in Nigeria schools
I wonder why those Hausa kings and their people didn't fight back...or were their men all dressed in skirts?

Considering he's a disc jockey in a nyt club he probably had gotten into trouble with bad boys. It's possible also dat his death has something to do with a Turkish lady. I don't think it's Yahoo related cos Dy would av just shot him dead. Rip nwanne
The torture points to the fact it was a emotionally driven murder! So in all probability, the murderers are Turkish or none-blacks! It could be due to jealousy over his Turkish girlfriend or he was owing them something....and the fact they were already racists gave them added impetus to torture him!

Anyways, the seat goes to the SW come 2023- cursed or not grin
They would have been better off if they had stepped back and allowed the south to produce presidents/Heads of State....at least for the greater part of the period since independence! And for real progress and development to occur, these presidents have to be the product of a clean and transparent electoral process....not the type of that throws up the likes of a Buhari!

Governance just isn't their forte, but their greed and lust for power wouldn't let them admit it!

PoliticsRe: We Are Not Igbo– Dr Ojieh, National President Izu Anioma. by XANDERBOY85:
oyatz:
Okay, I am beginning to understand things from the SE perspectives.

So the anger by Igbos towards Aniomas is that they take Igbos due shares from the National cake.

However, if you study Nigerian politics well, it will be clear to you that shares of the National cake like Roads, Institutions and other infrastructures as well as positions are distributed/allocated on the Basis of States or Geopolitical zones, so how can Aniomas take Igbos' share since they don't share the same States or Geopolitical zones?
Your argument is flawed ab-initio! Whereas Pazienza is referring to Aniomas 'sharing in the cake' meant for Igbos, you on the other hand are referring to the 'sharing of the cake' based on states or geopolitical zones! Could be you're just trying to be evasive on the issue or you're confused!

A good example to buttress Pazienzas' point was Buhari -in a interview some years back- asking animatedly what the Igbos want since he believed they should be happy that he's already given them the minister of state for petroleum and headship of the NNPC in the person of Ibe Kachikwu! The anti-thesis of this argument is the rest of the country believing the Nzeogwu coup was an Igbo coup, hence all Ndigbo deserved what befell them from 1966 to 1970, and deserve the continued hate, mistrust and marginalization visited on them to this day from 'certain quarters'!

But i will say the truth

If we should break up. North and South should go to their separate ways

I can bet my balls that North is gonna be more developed than the South

Their life style is very simple. They are simple people.
It's a pity they (the north) don't have that belief in themselves like you have in them!

Fact is...Nigeria splitting would be the best thing to happen to its component parts since that ill-adviced amalgamation!

Forget yarimo and many of his kind here. They are all bunch of nuisances...but let’s focus on the supposedly NK’s message.

That was foul. That tweet or which ever public space that was made is heavy with disgust and stench.

How can a man threaten children? That’s insanity. If a man points his finger at you, point back at him or if you feel so bad about it, break his fingers but you don’t threaten to harm his children. I don’t know what to call that. Even mafias and real bad people have codes of operation.

Whoever made that statement should withdraw that nonsense.
So the people the commissioners’ men would kill are not somebodies children as well?

I'll hereby plead the army release them as quick as possible and enable them live anywhere they want to here in the south east sad
You'll get yourself and your people in danger with that kind of 'welcoming.....no-questions-asked' attitude when relating with others! It's that trusting, idealistic and naive attitude of our grandparents on the national stage that's largely responsible for our position today!

Most if not all of them are economic migrants seeking a more peaceful region to live and do business, but remember their loyalty is first to their religion and ethnic group before considering other loyalties and cleavages!
