Tayoalaaye75: Nigeria is a terrible place with terrible people, suffering and smiling is the logo. Nigeria can and will never the better, the politicians are useless, the youth are foolish, the standard not living is the worst. Lived in Russia for some years and regretted my decision to come back, decided to relocate to Benin republic few months ago and it was my best decision, business moving very well, I am happy here because everyone over here seems so contented with the little the have, electricity is 24/7, accommodation is monthly and affordable, no competition between "Big man" and "Poor man". Life is good here
Nigeria is a terrible place to live, Nigerians are terrible people and suffering is already in the blood of Nigerians and it seems to be normal to them which is not. I don't see myself as a foreigner here because most of the people here speaks Yoruba language. Even Port novo enjoys 24 hours light and Idi Iroko border few minutes from Port novo (5 minutes walk) suffer terrible light. Will sell my land in Lagos and buy a land here.....Enjoy your suffering modafuckers...... Now, submit your passport if you have any. Start the process of renouncing your citizenship(not just mouth). After that self-deport to your paradise country. You won't be missed. |

Tell me what's constructive about her criticism when shes and her husband are part of the problem. In Nigeria most people forming activist are those who are not being called to be part of the government (stealing). They do not in anyway care about the people. By the way WHO IS BANKROLLING YOU.
In addition even God said the sins of the parent will be melted out as punishment to there kids and offspring ..So why shouldn't they drag her into this. If she is truly a sane and saint as she pretends to be. she should have done the dragging herself before people do it for her. Sebi she claims she is an advocate of truth...So let her charity begins at home irrespective of who is involved. What accusation? Everyone, including convicted criminals are in the position to criticise wrongdoing by government agents. The husband has no power over the law. All they need do is seize those cars and charge him if they have any case. It is utterly stupid for a government to engage in mudslinging when charging and convicting the target will permanently dent the target's image. So why is the government playing victim when they have all the power? Because they are lying. |

Meanwhile, media houses should stop lying when defending victims of harrassment and assault. It turns the case from that of human rights to subtle blackmail. The victims weren't arrested because of 5K, though the amount make no difference as to the crime committed against them. |

If EFCC says they can't have him arrested because he's in UK.. Hmm. I don't agree
1. There's an international police and it can be stepped up to INTERPOLATION through EFCC
2. The situation can be raised with his banks all his account referrals should be the one to be on the front burner.
3. You should consult experts in debt/loan recovery/lawyer.
4. UK is Nigeria's extension. He has luck he met a good guy like you. Other people would have sent folks to him in that his UK. I for one have loads of those type of guys that can deal with such a thrash
5. It's not new. Majority of people in Badore, Labgbasa, and Co are only forming big and are not pure. Just tell me you're from Badore, and I won't take you seriously. Too bad you fell for the package, much worse, didn't listen to your mother's sound counsel. You didn't heed the glaring signs like we all do before we fall into the ditch
There has to be something that can be done Good points. But #2 is not as straightforward as you think especially if the suspect is not a terrorist and not affiliated with the government. |

Was Obasanjo without his own flaws? Absolutely not! But here are some of the things that Obj did that are verifiable. We can crosscheck the list with the people Tony Momoh currently serves to see how they both fared;
1. He started the contributory pension scheme which mandates employers and employee to contribute to pension. Before then, most private sector workers including Banks didn't have pension. You just retire and maybe get gratuity. Buhari will later borrow the money with nothing to show. 2. There was no health insurance before Obj. Today, most workers including myself are enjoying the scheme 3. ICPC and EFCC were his ideas 4. Excess crude account that has now been savagely depleted beyond redemtion 5. Open University that has assisted a lot of people to earn a degree while they work 6. The telecommunication we are enjoying today 7. NCC AND NIGCOMSAT were his ideas 8. The Keke NAPEP you hear today was the initiative of the Economic Adviser to OBJ. We still have keke NAPEP today 9. Obj created one of the largest middle class. people were able to afford cars for the first time and all. 10. He got our debts forgiven so that we can start on a fresh note. jerseyboy: Lagos East Senatorial Election: Obaseki, Wike, Makinde to Campaign for Gbadamosi. Mega Rally Planned
Plans have been concluded to deal an early blow on Bola Ahmed Tinubu way ahead of the 2023 elections as newly reelected Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has committed to fully campaign for Babatunde Gbanamosi the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. Mr. Obaseki has vowed to phrase the Lagos East Senatorial Bye-Election as a referendum strongman of Lagos politics Mr. Tinubu who is self styled as APC "national leader" and the "godfather" of Nigerian politics. Sources close to the governor confirmed that governor Obaseki has enlisted the full and joint participation of the governor of Rivers State Mr. Nyesom Wike on the mission. Other governors on board with the project are Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Okowa of Delta State.
The strategy to be employed is to mobilize resident from the South South and South East in Lagos to come out massively to vote for Gbadamosi who will be going against the candidate of the APC Tokunbo Abiru, a Tinubu imposition on the party. The thinking is that the momentum being carried from the Edo victory will embolden that segment of Lagos voters to come out and embolden their South West neighbors to also come out deal a decisive defeat on Tinubu and his candidate.
Governor Obaseki is said to be particularly irked by the arrogance of Mr. Tinubu treating the upcoming election as a coronation for the APC candidate Mr. Abiru who uptill now was assumed would simply walk into the office. However as far as Mr. Obaseki is concerned all that changed on saturday with his own victory over what he termed godfatherism. The plan right now is firm that Obaseki, Wike, Makinde will headline a massive rally for Mr. Gbadamosi the candidate of the PDP. A Gbadamosi victoy in the senate race will raise his profile for a 2023 governorship election in Lagos state. Source? |

Probably fake news since no source. But whoever suggested the above is either dumb or an APC agent. The surest way for Abiru to win is to go tribal and they will be giving it to him on a platter of gold by openly campaigning for SS and SE votes. Anyone who wants to win that seat must not be seen or remotely perceived as anti-majority. APC might be in deep trouble if Ambode is still angry because that is his zone. |

Sorry about your experience. Were the Okada riders also harmed? No. So you chose your car over other options like other past victims.
Now to the issue. If you really don't want to pay, you should have fled when you left with the Okada riders. Then make report at the closest police station preferrably IRT or SARS about a kidnap and ransom case. You escaped but your car is still with the thieves.
It is not too late. Contact various media houses and IG on Twitter that police and custom impersonators are robbing and stealing people's car near barracks. Narrate your story to them. Even though you can't get your money back you will save others. |
