The 2nd Niger Bridge hasn't even been built and the Govt is counting it as "Achievement" neither is uninterrupted Power. In 2012 The Government promised Buses as part of palliatives for the Partial subsidy removal-Yet we see no such buses on our roads except the few that goes on "parade" in major cities. The SURE-P that was instituted is only performing on the pages of Newspaper and on TAN website with NOTHING to show on ground. Nigerians are paying for the PMS at a high rate. The Government WAS shouting "Cabal"...Cabal that only surfaced when Jonathan took the helms of Power in 2011.

There are indications that PDP Hq is set to close its chapter in Osun State after what it termed as "Bad Investment". This may not be unconnected with the diagraceful outing of the party in August 9 Guber poll in Osun. Also, Omisore Iyiola has been ordered to explain in writing on how he is going to refund every money spent by the party for the prosecution of his failed ambition. The Minister of Interior Abba Moro has also been ordered by the Presidency to upgrade all prisons facilities. According to the Information from a reliable source, the Party powerhouse are set to relocate to the various Prisons in Nigeria come May 30, 2015.

Igbos keep re-canting Asari statement but forget that HIS views on Biafra has always been his views and NOT Ijaw views...because of his maternal Igbo link.
His granny had to be kicked out of the Kalabari throne, his family NEVER benefited from the properties declared abandoned because they "WORKED" against the Ijaw Interest! His own relatives moved against his family and it was clear in his STATEMENT that Ijaws fought against the Igbos during the War. That Asari is allowed to Speak today is because we see all Ijaw blood as brothers and ijaws are very forgiving but not forgetting. I can vouch that no member of Asari lineage can assume the Royalty stool in Kalabari Kingdom. His views, history and position on Igbo does not represent Ijaw nation... Neither IYC nor INC shares his view.

Asari nor his Father thru his grandfather has never been the voice of the Ijaw nation NOR any member of his immediate family

1. Formation
OIC was established in 1969 through a Saudi Arabian initiative, following the burning of the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, which was considered an attack on the Muslim world. The Headquarters of the organisation are in Jeddah. The first meeting of the organization was held in Morocco in 1969.

2. Gen Yakubu Gowon
Yakubu Gown sent a Nigerian delegation as an observer led by Alhaji Abubakar Gumi to the OIC in its first meeting in 1969 in Morocco. Despite opposition. He Gowon, a Christian from Plateau State took the first set by sending Gumi to represent "Nigeria Muslims".

3. General Muritala Muhammed to Gen Muhammadu Buhari Regimes
The administrations of Muritala/Obasanjo, Obasanjo/Yaradua, Shagari/Ekweme and Buhari/Idiagbon refused to sign to Nigeria's full membership of the OIC despite pressure and intense lobbying from Saudi Arabia. They maintained that Nigeria is a secular state and not an Islamic country.

4. General Ibrahim Babangida
French news agency reported that Nigeria has been admitted into the organization as its 46th member in January 1986. Ebitu Ukiwe from Abia State, then a navy commodore and second in command to the then military President, Ibrahim Babangida, had it rough with that administration when he declared publicly that the decision to join OIC was not discussed at any level of government. Mr. Ukiwe's denial of the decision reportedly led to his forceful exit from government.

5. General Sani Abacha
Maintained Nigeria's membership despite calls for withdrawal from various groups including Christian Leaders.

6. Obasanjo/Atiku Abubakar
At the G-8 Islamic countries in Egypt in 2001, Obasanjo identified himself carrying Nigeria as an Islamic country by attending that meeting. His attendance cemented Nigeria's Status as a member of the OIC and an Islammic State.

7. Yaradua/Jonathan Administration Renewed Nigeria OIC Membership
On April 11, 2012 President Umaru Yaradua renewed Nigeria's membership the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), the same way IBB registered with the organisation in 1986, the Nigerian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Abdullahi M. Garba Aminchi, quietly visited Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and signed the new OIC charter on behalf of the Nigerian government.

Although this event was published on OIC's website the same day and widely reported in other Middle East media, it was not reported in the Nigerian media. The Nigeria Foreign Minister as at then Chief Ojo Maduekwe refused to speak on the matter.

8. Jonathan/Sambo Administration
There have been calls by religious groups and others to withdraw Nigeria's OIC membership. As at this day, Nigeria remains a full member of the OIC, and the President in its capacity appoints delegates to represent Nigeria in OIC.

ISLAMIC SUMMIT 2013, HELD IN CAIRO
President Ebele Goodluck Jonathan led Nigeria's delegation to the OIC Islamic Summit in 2013. Other delegates are...H.E. Dr. Nuruddeen Muhammed Minister of State II for Foreign Affairs, Amb Hassan Tukur (Foreign Affairs Minister), Amb. Abdullah Omaki, Abubakar Sheikh Bunu, Mr. Tijjani Hammanjodu, Mr. Suleiman Sani and Mr. Manir Ibrahim

Ifeanyi Ubah, Capital Oil boss, put in detention for two weeks

The head of one of Nigeria’s largest indigenous oil marketing company, Ifeanyi Ubah, will be in police cell for the next two weeks based on the order of a Lagos Magistrate Court.
The Court, Thursday, ordered the Police Special Fraud Unit (SFU) to keep Mr. Ubah, the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil and Gas Limited, in police custody for two weeks. Mr. Ubah will however not be alone as he would be accompanied in the police cell by four of his employees based on the court order
The court said the reason is for the police to complete its investigation into a the N43 billion subsidy fraud levelled against Mr. Ubah and his company.
The operatives of the SFU had, earlier this week, arrested the Capital Oil and Gas boss and five members of his staff for interrogation, following the company’s indictment by the Aig-Imokuede led 15-member Presidential Panel constituted by President Goodluck Jonathan.
The committee, in which the Commissioner of Police, SFU, Tunde Ogunsakin, is a member; is charged with the verification and reconciliation of fuel subsidy payments.
The SFU said that they are investigating the suspects for “economic sabotage”, in addition to obtaining money under false pretences, money laundering and stealing the property of Nigeria.

Now they've resorted to promoting media propaganda to portray the Looter-In-Chief Goodluck Jonathan as a "good man" of same class with the Great Mandela. It still did not make any positive effect. The next was to task their keyboard employees to invade Social Network(Which is the heart and soul of modern political campaign). I assured them that they will be embarrassed beyond thought. PoliticsRe: Jonathan, Buhari, PDP, APC: Who Is Behind Boko Haram? by xwolverine: 9:20pm On Apr 30, 2015
barcanista:
Politicians and Political Sympathisers have been throwing verbal accusations against each other since the Boko Haram insurgency began. While Majority of Jonathan's/PDP sympathisers accuse the Opposition APC and General Buhari of behind the insurgency to discredit the administration, Buhari/APC's supporters on the other hand accused the Jonathan's Administration and the PDP of being behind it to distabilize the North and blackmail opposition.

As a Neutral-whos neither here nor there, here's my own independent analysis.

1. President Jonathan
: Jonathan is relatively new in Nigeria's political scene. His ascension to Power was "miraculous", which was after the insurgency had began. Yes he lack the sophistication to tackle the insurgency, but it will amount to insanity to link him with it. With the targeted attack on his biggest critic and political opponent, Buhari, it was clear that some people are trying so hard to rope him in. Gej is nt behind it.

2. Gen Buhari: the former head of State may have made reckless statements in the past(or his statements may have been misunderstood), but from the targeted attack on him yesterday, it removed every doubt in my mind that he is behind the group. Add to this, he doesn't have the kind of funds needed to finance such group. Buhari is not behind the insurgency. The perpetrators of the attack deliberately plotted the assassination to implicate President Jonathan for their selfish interest.

3. PDP: Gen Azizi declared that some PDP chieftains are behind it". This statement means a lot and ordinarily shd carry its own weight. While I commend the bold step of Azazi, I expectedd him to have specifically mentioned names and make arrest for prosecution with evidence to back up. I won't believe PDP is behind it, but I want to believe that some Power Brokers within the PDP from North and South have their hands in it. Azazi was "killed" in a crash shortly after, which further raises suspiction.

4. APC: Just like the PDP, there are some Powerful powerbrokers within the APC that are profiting from the insurgency politically and financially. They include gun-runners, office holders, aspirants and praise-singers.

5. The Government: Jonathan once said that BH are in the Govt. Considering the sophistication of their activities, one doesn't need to be a Prophet to know that BH "ogas" are littered in the Executive, Judiciary, Parliament, Military, Police Force, DSS etc. They leak information and intelligence to the "field fighters".

6. Senator Ali Ndume: DSS alleged that the serving Senator made phone calls with insurgents. I commend the DSS but it would have been better if they had done thorough investigation b4 making things public.he remains a suspect.

7. Ali Modu Sheriff: Many has been accusing the former governor but all without "traceable fact".

Its very difficult to ascertain the sponsors and backers. ONE "Group" that will help give us clue are the Policemen that killed Mohammed Yusuf inside Police cell. The Govt should suspend their Prosecution and unravel the reasons behind killing of a suspect in custody. Who gave the Killing Order? We can start from there!

Pls share your own thought, let us see how we can assist the government and the people of Nigeria to apprehend these perpetrators.

One thing is to have the potential, another is to translate it into performance. It takes a Brilliant leader to Identify Potentials and give them platform to perform. That is Tinubu.

While PDP had men with Potentials like:
Dr. Olusegun Agagu, Engr(Dr). Iyiola Omisore, Dr. Peter Odili among others, the "environment" in PDP suppressed them and they all transformed into mediocres. Even Musliu Obanikoro has become a laughing stock since his move to PDP. He is supposed to be the Minister of State for Defense but we see him deployed as Minister of State for Election Intimidation.
Iyiola Omisore Campaigned WITHOUT a reasonable manifesto. Agagu could not do anything when he held sway as governor and was booted out. What about Akala?
The few greats of PDP, Amaechi and Kwankwaso were forced out. In fact, Amaechi was even denied PDP Ticket in 2007 if not for the Supreme Court.

Who said SA has nuclear weapons? Oops!! I forgot that Dummies should always have to be taught carefully because they are slow learners. We have said that SA has nuclear weapons fuel to can use anytime should they want to become nuclear power state again.

The fuel was melted down and casted in ingots, then staffed into former silver vaults. It is perfectly safe to be reused again.

Bwahahahaha!!! Does SA nuclear weapon fuel make you scared that we have enough to make six big atomic bombs to destruct the whole of Nigeria?

Since you live in a country with no mines, you might not know what is an ingot. This might help you

http://spaceengineers.wikia.com/wiki/Uranium_Ingot

GET IT!!!
Funny analogy...its like saying Nigeria can afford 100 units of Rafale Jets if they decided to buy. Because in real sense, the country has the money, but would they splash out on Rafales? Maybe, maybe not, the answer is subjective.

Your logic falls flat in the face of objectivity, the question is not about capability but can SA afford it? Are they willing to invest in it? which i doubt considering the fact that the SA budget cannot accommodate crucial air-freight planes for the military and luxury vip jets at a time.

Stop this act of chest beating, the issue is not about ingot, because as at 21:28 GMT 9th of April 2015, SA doesn't have nuclear warheads.

The weight of the rolling ball is lesser than the stationery ball, because of the cut out, and based on the position of the cut out, the man in position D would survive, the man in position A wouldn't be crushed because there's no way the stone would roll up to where he's standing

I know it's easy for a person to get emotional when people provoke them to anger. Parents could in some cases say what they don't mean when they are pushed to the edge. The issue with the Oba is based on background skirmishes with the person of Jimi Agbaje, who would stop at nothing because of his desperation for power. This disagreement must have been bigger than we thought for the king to go against Jimi who is his relative, and in his stead choose Ambode.

Yes mate but unfortunately that $7 billion includes weapon purchases, your defence budget is actually capped at $4,9 billion, only a fraction more than South Africa's defence budget which stands at $4,5billion and yet the Nigerian defence force is 3X the size of the SANDF.

My personal opinion is it will be best if Nigeria shrinks the size of its Defence force to about 80000-90000 permanent personal, while keeping a budget of $4,9billion, thus allowing it to focus more on modernising equipment and training troops.

Ill rather have a small but modern and well trained force than a large ill trained and ill equipet one.

Nigerian defence budget source:
www.premiumtimesng.com/business/161390-jonathan-signs-nigerias-2014-budget-defence-gets-20-per-cent.html
That was the initial sum, an additional $2 Billion was released in the Q4 2014 bringing the total to $6.9 billion. All the procurements so far is from the initial $4.9 billion. The $2 billion would majorly is for the 40 units of mix of mi-35 hinds and Mi 171sh helics from russia and 40 units of JF-17 fighter jets, the army and the navy would share what's left after these procurements.
