Politics › Re: Police Seal-Off Baraje PDP Faction’s Secretariat by Yazmin: 8:53pm On Sep 07, 2013 |
eldoradoxx: There is what we call in political parlance "permutaion" or Alignment and Realighment" preparatory to any major election. One good thing with PDP is that the party knows how to permutate on time so that all the fights would be over before the election year. That is exactly wat PDP is facing now and it is normal. Every fight in PDP today is geared towards 2015. APC is there pretending all is well. But I tell you the truth and quote me, the strength of APC will be tested after Buhari wins or fails to win the presidential primary of that party. Because for political observers like us, we know that APC is in doomed like the proverbial satan and deep blue sea. If Buari wins, he is certain that he is up against familiar foes in SS, SE and NC. SW will be heavily polarised between him and GEJ. His strong base which he will still share with PDP is NE and NW. If he looses, the primary, no Hausa Fulani man will vote APC. Because they re ther becase of Buhari. So NW and NE is a gona for APC. Again, APC is gradually being sold to PDP. Lai Mohammed has been inviting PDP Governors who re currently locked in a battle against GEJ to come and join them. Isn't it funny that holy virgins of Apc would want to assiciate themselves with people they call all sorts of name ? This has shown that btw PDP and APC there is basically no difference. Last month Lai asked GEJ to come and join them and GEJ said that it was a sign of his acceptability. What is the implication of all these, let's assume in the unlikely situation that these 7 Governors decide to join APCb would they be coming to be floor memebers? NO WAy. They would certainly come with their ambition and distabilise APC. Naturally no true PDP person can feel comfortable working in same party where Buhari and Tinubu call the shot. PDP is the baston of freedom where it members are allowed great deal of freedom unlike APC where words of Tinubu and Buhari re laws. Again should these 7 Governors join VOP or PDM, what would be the effect? For Amechi, he is a loner as far as he is outside Pdp he knows that. For other Governors, they will help didvide APC votes in NE and NW because their influence extend not beyond there. So the odd favours GEJ / PDP and these Governors know that and are fighting for survival. See in Nigerian politics where there are lots of political patronage, power of incumency is real. All GEJ needs do to finish these Governors is to get EFCC dossier on them, change the security apparatus of the state to become hostile and high handed to the Governor and hijack the party machinery in the respective states and hand it over to a tough party member that can make the Governor shudder and u re done with them politically. That is what I call the Rivers State option, where Amechi is seen as a nobody in Rivers State power equation despite being a serving Governor. Obasanjo used this method too in 2007. It is politics and it is a battle where winner takes all. As for Atiku, he is a nobody as far as PDP is concerned. They didn't even invite him for the peace talks. Please break into chapters and repost, My nokia cant take more than 100 words and my BB has crashed. Thanks in anticipation of your kind consideration of my requisition. |

Dbeliever: For instance, FCMB is giving soft loans to civil servants in Benue state. This is regardless of age. This is absolutely false. Before you get employed into the civil service you must be an adult (18 years by the constitution). The banks are very aware of this , hence their decision to lend to civil servants if certain other criteria are met. @op, banks by any standard do not lend to minors. Documents executed by minors are by nigerian law not tenable or binding in the event of any disputes that may arise from non conformance with the agreed terms and conditions stated therein. To get a bank partner with you to develop your idea, the best bet is to approach the corporate affairs department which would, if approved , avail funds to you under its corporate social responsibility umbrella. Many have had intelllectual works developed by banks and I bet that proper chanelling of yours won't be an exception. This I guess, is more practical than requesting a loan facility from a bank. Best in all.... |

Sincere 9gerian: The above was my post last night. It has proved to be very prophetic.
FACTS: President Jonathan does not like frequent changes in govt. He believes in allowing people enough time to achieve results and consolidate.
I also think the practice of sacking a whole cabinet in between tenure is a sign of lack of focus. A focused, purposeful and determined leader is expected to pick the right team from the outset and hit the ground running. While minor changes can be made any time, it doesn't make sense to sack a whole cabinet in-between tenure.
Even in football, there are limits to the changes a team can make during a football match and even all through the competition.

The incident occurred in the Indian state of Punjab. Two puppies fell into a well. Their mother ran near the well and started barking, and attracted the attention of the owner, who looked inside and to his surprise there was a king cobra at the bottom, which didn't pose any threat to the puppies. Moreover, the reptile, looked after the puppies, by not allowing them to cross to the other side, where they could possibly drown, when the well is filled with water.
In general, they spent around 48 hours together at the bottom and in these 48 hours the cobra sat quietly next to them. When help finally arrived from the forest department, the cobra slithered to the other end of the well. The puppies were not injured at all and the reptile was immediately taken into the woods and was released into the wild.
firemen were eventually called to the rescue.they rescued the snake too by releasing it into the wild.

Politics › Re: Infrastructural Development In Abia State (Pictures) by Yazmin: 6:11pm On Jul 18, 2013 |
patrikobi: Governance in Abia and who made it better
It is true that governance in Abia state has procreated a lot of challenges, consequentially, greatest if the greatest. A few like T.A has comprehended what democratic leadership is and how democracy can be ran to improve development in the wider sense.Leadership starts with nerve-racking passion that seizes you, and will commove the gradation mentality, and this phenomenal apathy varies with leader to leader. Governor T.A has the mental resources and intellectual gradients which determines how he responds to the challenges and this has yielded much advantages and brought lot of change, either to sustain, transformation, retain growth and uphold the validity of progress Abia state over a period of time.
T.A Orji has examined the backwardness and build up rot which ensues from improper handling of issues that could obviously be traced from the inventive period when Abia state was created . He is a leader that does strive for a balance on its success and continuity, attract development in its justifiable act of genuinely democratic-polity and systematic approach forming basis of a democratic reality.it is true that is widely believed that Abia state can be said to have had a dysfunctional domain of history of downsize performance coming way back as from the time of creation of Abia state. people cast aspersion ,its is an every day norm, and it is always said that Abia leaders, governors, present and past lack transparently most reliable structures, certain operative context and diplomats hinging on knowledge in all their varieties as their ultimate resources and have fallen below the immediate goal of democratization of the electoral process which contradicts what is been expected of them by their followers.
Unlike T.A Orji, some if not all those who were before him were focused on personal interest by employing constricted and artful leadership styles and made no difference. T.A has demonstrated his administration without cynicism, and such an operative system is a necessity to achieving a critical project. He has manifested a firm reliance and his relationship-oriented manner has create the affinity amongst the people of Abia state.
T.A is a leader who is not arrogance, he is neither hostile nor dominance. he is possesses the character of a leader that does not create deep-seated antagonism between his aides and his underlings . T.A ORJI is a leader who is ever ready to endure the trashed heaped on his head, and he must not revile.
The past leaders in Abia had assumed that we do not have any dreams to be fulfilled, they lost track of the rudimentary process which was important to embark on and lead us to our destiny. Propaganda ate deep into their system, selfish interest brought down their values , and the significant of democratic leadership was not met and which made them to fail in their very tenures.
Not too long again before the fruitless tenure of Orji Uzor Kalu collapsed under the weight of repression , dictatorship and autocratic.-he turned the Abia state to a political laboratory and came up with a grandiose political transition that was described as the most non-democratically and non-profitable in of its era which produced no democracy. An administration which created the dullardity of no transformation. OUK's dual tenures were an industry whose business experience held no water in democratic terrain. Obviously he was unable to diffuse the polity in good manner.
But after his eviction from office by constitutional duration, came a man we should support his efforts ,that are spontaneously bringing the desired socio- economic development. T.A Orji made the different and with total consummation we will encourage him to :-Xobserve continuity and be more clinical in avoidance of uneven disposition of democratic and political influence in order to balance energetic sense of purpose with a concern for the service of others. Is abia state in the south east? |

Christianity Etc › Re: My Second Visit To Hell: Famous People I Saw In Hell by Yazmin: 9:59pm On Jul 15, 2013 |
ACK CITY: Jesus went with me to hell this time, when I was with Jesus, the brightness of Jesus; Jesus have light all over His body, when we entered that dark place, I was seeing, I could see, this time, the people in hell because of the bright light on Jesus (Jesus is walking with a bright light, a glorious light).
And then, Jesus opened my eyes to see some of these men and women in hell. Jesus gave me message to Sierra Leone, He said if I should have come in December to January only five people in Sierra Leone would have raptured five only. That includes the three righteous pastors and five other people in and out of the church, when I said this in Sierra Leone, people said it is lie.
Jesus said Sierra Leone is polluted; that the shepherds he gave the word to preach to His people in Sierra Leone are dying to meet God, but majority are in hell. So Jesus sent me to Sierra Leone
When we were in hell, Jesus showed me a glass-like aquarium with people inside it, the souls of human who are still on earth are in that glass inside hell. These are people on earth who are working for demons, we have some people on earth who don’t believe anything, they are on their own, doing all sorts of bad things, even pastors who knows the truth but are bowing down to Satan, they are partakers of Satan’s communion, their souls are in that place.
Gadhafi in Hell
And Jesus pulled out a man from the fire and he introduced himself to me, he said, “I am Gadhafi” (because you won’t recognize him because the fire has destroyed him, he said, “I am Gadhafi, former Libya president”
Gadhafi said, “Tell my Libya people to worship Jesus” he said, “Tell my people to believe in Jesus”, he said, “Ah Jesus, have mercy, I never knew you are the right way, have mercy on me”.
He said, even the people who killed him on earth, he doesn’t want them to come to hell, he said “Tell my people to believe that Jesus is the right way”
He also gave me another message (why he gave me this message is because, he said, the entire mosque he built on earth should be destroyed and turned into churches so that people will glorify Jesus and maybe the punishment on him in hell will decrease. Because anything here on earth that you build that does not glorify Jesus Christ, that does not glorify God, that does not make people to come to their right Father(hotels, bars etc.), anything sinful in the world that you build (when you die, you leave these things on earth). People will be there doing all sorts of evil things, as far as people are enjoying these places, or practicing all sorts of evil things, in the place that doesn’t glorify Jesus Christ, the demons will increase the pain on you in hell.
So he said, “Please so that the pain will decrease, I know if people will worship in my mosque, if they will call Jesus there, maybe the pain will decrease”
And Jesus said, “It is too late”.
