jaytii:Only in Nigeria a slowpoke would be asking someone to follow his legacy. No rightfully thinking successor will follow Aregbesola unrealistic policies. APC should know that if his sponsor candidate mistakenly win their primary, they should say good bye to Osun- State. |
tollyboy5:We are talking about Osun here not Lagos please. |
ivolt:Dont mind him, the man does not have any glory to even talk about. He started many big needless projects withiout finishing them in 8 years. No sane civil servants in Osun- state will listen to or vote for any candidate supported by Aregbesola. The reason Oyetola first term election was so close is because of him. If his candidate mistakenly win this primary, APC should kiss Osun goodbye. |
Mooh247:He is just a shameless human, in a sane society, someone like Aregbesola ought to be in political oblivion by now. He almost totally ruin the state with wasteful policies and projects that add little or nothing to economic development of the state. He plumped this state into endless internal and external debts to the extent that the state civil servants were paying half salary for long period of time. To make the matter worse, he adopted same uniform for all primary and secondary schools across the state. Where are OPON IMO that he wasted billions of state fund on today? This same man single handedly changed educational system in the state withiout thinking of consequences. If he is really a man of wisdom and integrity, he shouldn't have based his grievances with the current state governor on a useless legacy. |
TheNiceGuy:Abuja and Lagos wont allow that to happen, Oyetola is likely to emerge victorious from the primary. Aregbesola would be called/beg to reconcile with him in order not to lose Osun. Aregbesola has no good legacy for any sensible leader to follow |
Fxzboyz:You need absolutely nothing in life but money. You may not be rich but at least have something doing or little source of income to sustain your relationship or marriage. Do not be deceive, a woman can love you withiout money but her heart is always at where she would get the desire comfort she's natural built to seek after. No matter how a woman love you, she will definitely cheat on you or leave you when hunger reset her brain. A rich man wife hardly cheat if her husband show/give his love, time and good sex. |
Psalmistproject:What elders seen while sitting down, the children will never see even at the top of a tree. You dont expect a sensible leader to declare a war with world super power like Russia. What is the point of wasting humans lives to pursue a mere foreign policy. I am 100% sure Trump will never do this as well because you dont fight a country like Russia withiout leading to world war 3. |
kayusely70:Hahahahaha, typical Nigerian mentality of killing future talent. If Man U sign your kid, tell them you want him to go school nah ![]() |
Munamoqel:God bless you, some of them are so clueless for real. For any society to attain it's full potential/development, it must first takes its human development seriously. If a common man can comfortably feed himself and live in good house, there would be more peace and stability . He will always be willing to give back to society in form of taxes and service, which can be use to create more capital developments. |
Two captains in one ship. Amuneke ego and being a boss mentality would only create factions among super eagle players. Let hope this appointments good for the super Eagle. |
To include another liability institution? Our leaders are nothing but a bunch of mentally retarded individuals. |
tensazangetsu20:It is entirely the fault of society we found ourselves. Our upbringing help us morally and in decision making, while society contributes 100% to what we achieve in life. An average African leader think his society will advance by focusing on modernity, not knowing that the basic for development of any society has been omitted or neglected. No society or country attained a level of visible development withiout solving physiological needs of its subjects. This is basic tenet of Western ideology that eventually led to their development. Until food and houses, which is basic need of human existence is surplus, amount to nothing or cost nothing in Africa, there will never be a tangible human, social and economic development. |
Abetterperson:Honestly you are not stupid, you"re only battling with innate contradictory opinions, egoism and fear. You will outgrown this thought one day and wish you did not take this decision if you eventually does. |
Cityboy08:Let me be honest with you as an adult, it is very wrong for you to stay in the same apartment with your cousin who have been rejected by your parent. It"s a total disrespect to your parent. The best you could've done is to lend her money to complete the house rent for herself alone. Psychologically, you have little love/lust/soft spot for your cousin but you will never agree with yourself or anyone. My advise for you is to stay away from that girl and find your own apartment. The more you keep fighting for her, the more she keep loving you, and sooner or later, you will find yourself having sex with her and got her pregnant. This will happen except you act fast now. |
This would've made sense if you went there with nothing but succeeded in doing keke business. How can you get 3 millions naira and end up in Togo? With 3M, you will get 2 brand new keke and well furnish apartment at good location in Nigeria. |
gstelly:Sorry, thought you are a man. Dont ever worrying yourself anymore, things would soon fall back into normal. You can find a marketing/sales rep job during your semester break, you will meet alot of people through this. Be open minded, focus, and dont throw yourself at men anyhow, you will definitely meet someone that will assist you to achieve success. |
wirinet:Yes, will agree with you to some extent, but I think Poverty and modernity is the major culprit in this aspect. Africans has been practicing religions since 18th century, why do you think the modern christianity or Islam is different from those practising then. Poverty has blindfolded alot of parents to think that it normal for them to accept money or gifts from their lazy ass children without asking them questions. The same poverty has made some priests and other religions leaders to focus on material things, and withiout twisting the core believes or value of family setting, they will never achieve their aims. Modernity on the other hands has done more than enough to alter family settings. During a good era, parents rarely go to work in the morning and come back late in the evening, they rarely go on business missions for days withiout attending to their children. There were few or no single mothers or daddy's, the rate of divorce was barely low, women were not fighting to be equal with men. The advent of technology is not helping the matter as well. |
gstelly:You dont have children and wife you are feeding, you dont pay school fees, you dont have family you often send money to, and you probably dont have liability as a girlfriend right. Now tell me why you are feeling so sad and unhappy? Honestly all you need to do is to channel your hustle to more productive aspects. Pick your bag and move out to unknow city or town( not war ravaging states), and start afresh. I can assure you have the capacity to make it the moment you leave your comfort zone. The good new is that you dont have anyone to worry about. |
wirinet:Who is promoting quick and instant acquisition of wealth? Aliens or citizens? I will try to be as brief as possible. There are 3 major factors that shapes humans life in their social settings. 1. Family 2. Peer groups 3. Society. * FAMILY- if every parent preach or inculcate contentment, hardwork, humility and patience into the life of their offspring from inception, they will likely take this mentality to their peers. * PEER GROUP - Since these children has already being made to believes in aforementioned attitudes, there is likelihood they will channel their productive energy toward more productive vices that will aid their development and that of society at large. * SOCIETY - let me use this simple analogy, a man was born, he first know his mother, father, his immediately siblings, and other relatives. This is a foundation upon which society is built. Whatever a child acquired (good or bad) from his/her family and peer groups that he/she will bring to a larger society. Society in turn can modify its inhabitants if the foundation of its entire setup is faulty. For instance, people tend to behave well and abide by the rule of law if the society is guarantee them of better future, but that doesn't cancel the fact that society and its ruling apparatus emanated or start from the family settings. |
gstelly:Please dont take your life, this is just a moment everyone pass through in life, and it not going to be permanent. Are you married or Single, do you have family( siblings, mother, father etc), do you have friends or associates? Asking for a reason. |
The first and basic unit of every society is family, as long as this basic element is not properly guild and nurtured, society will continue to see a serious menace like this. The west we are trying copying their style of family units has lay down working social systems that improve or support human development. The mind of every new born child is plain, null and void, it is what you write there that a child built upon to become an adult. This is where the role of good parenting is vital in development of a child. All the social vices you see today, are the result of dysfunctional family system in Nigeria. |
