saucecoder:My dear, I don't live in Nigeria. I'm just a concerned citizen of Nigeria. I can never deny my homeland I love Nigeria, so tey I'm even more worried about Covid spreading in Nigeria , despite the fact that Covid is everywhere around me. So my concerns about you are genuine. Get some help. Have you seen the screenshots your sweeri'm posted up there? You need serious help man. |
cococandy:There's some psychological component to all this, and unfortunately help is not readily accessible in nigeria and it's also relatively expensive. You used to ignore him, and that gets to him really bad. Stop letting him get a reaction out of you, go back to your ignore mode ![]() |
cococandy:You seem to have some stalkers on here. They've even followed you to instagram Why did you not agree to his proposal na, before your husband snatched you away? He sounds a lot like a a jealous lover, and it's very unhealthy. |
wolfenstein:Handgloves always give a false sense of protection. It's still the same handgloves you use to touch things in the supermarket etc. On the other hand, if it were just your bare hands, you're more conscious as to use sanitizers and even to wash those hands as often as possible |
The virus is spread by contact too. Social distancing is still very important unless you think the hospital staff who are fully kitted up dont know wetin dey. They would have just been wearing only face masks in hospitals if that were the case |
healthserve:It will definitely rise, but the question is how will it rise? Is it a sudden great increase or what? We can't know till the next 1 to 2 weeks anyway |
Every mallam with him kettle. Both men and women that want to cheat will continue to do so. Women will forever remain secretive about their escapades and many men will continue to raise bastards Men will also continue their trysts with side chicks et al "Everyone is a thief, and only the person caught red handed in broad daylight is called barawo" .... african proverb |
Yankee101:Have they decided to do that, or things will go back to status quo once the pandemic is over? Anyway, they should consider setting up emergency services too like ambulance services, trained paramedics etc. Anyone that puts their hope on any Nigerian government will just end up disappointed. They're all thieves, including previous governments. |

pocohantas:Words on marble. We see them, we sense them Many were cultists in higher institution and they perpetuated all sorts of wickedness including rape. Yes, right here on NL. You see them spewing some kin nonsense, and you just shake your head. We see them, we know them. But there is no peace for the wicked. Their evil acts follows them, and their loved ones. |
Another scam.. You guys and different ideas sha |
ThothHermes:Nobody moves on from rape. They never do. It takes a long time even if rape victims are lucky to get the right support, before they can even try to have a resemblance of normal life and relationships. If their victims are never punished, they cannot move on. I have seem too many young women, with their lives ruined, suffering from mental health issues because of trauma like this in their past. Busola Dakolo came out after so many years despite the celebrity status, motherhood and 'wifehood'. Her husband confirmed she kept having nightmares for so long after they married till she was able to trust him with her experience, Yet many say she is telling lies and that she enjoyed it. Her own family were not able to get justice for her, but she still wanted it even after 20 years. Her husband could have easily said let's forget it, because it may 'tarnish' their image and the accused is also popular but he did the right thing for his wife. We enjoy covering up evil so much till it becomes a cancer that spreads and finally destroys. Nigerians have to learn to do the right thing. |
The brother will come out tomorrow on NL saying he is looking for virgin to marry. There is so much wickedness in the land. What happened to Grace is a common experience. Many women were violated as young girls, yet we keep watching and tolerating the culture of rape. No wonder our leaders keep raping us too. Wickedness in the land, odi too much |
You want to marry her because her family is rich ba? You never see chumchin |
Who will get justice for Grace, the poor orphan child? OP, if you don't do the right thing now, your children will pay for your wickedness in covering up evil. Don't think male children cannot be abused also. You brother should be arrested. |
Hmmmmm Nobody knows tomorrow. Some couples started as you, wanted 6 children and struggled for several years to finally get only one. Some got their hearts desires, with many children but lost all. Meanwhile, some wanted only 2 child and got triplets in their 2nd pregnancy. There isn't a manual for some of these things. |
CodeTemplar:I dont believe we came in contact last. The amount of travel to Nigeria alone, and how we are always packed like sardine is enough for the virus to have reached its peak in Lagos alone. Don't forget we arrived late to the party of closing borders and stopping flights. Perhaps our immune system may have helped us, as Africa has always been riddled by infectious diseases anyway. But in terms of contact, we have been in contact since, I'm almost certain of that. Even those infected, we haven't recorded fatalities as such. |
He shouldnt have to wait for him to be told to stretch out a helping hand to those in need at this period. He can spend 2 million naira on food stuff, and still make a difference in the lives of people around him. Its not until you donate to the federal govt before you can make an impact. Celebrities are making a difference even with their brokeness. Some are buying food stuff, some are giving 5K for those that need help. Last last, many will spend 1 million, and would have made a difference |
gidgiddy:He can't keep quiet. He will still be found out that he kept quiet about donating 1 billion and he will be known as a liar. Audio donator etc It's not 1million but 1billion o, that kind of money will be traced by those interested. That cannot be overlooked and he will be found out to have started rumours of his fake donations (I know someone started the fake news, and it's probably not him). That's another level of low |
gidgiddy:If he had kept quiet, it would still be exposed to the public by some diligent persons (eg Kemi Olunloyo), but they will say he started the lies to make him look bigger than he is . There is documentation of every donation made. If you decide to lie about it, you will be easily found out and dragggeddd till all your skin peels off. The best thing he could have done was to refute the rumour quickly, just as he's done. When people decide to reason your matter, na only God fit save you o |
He gives you money more than your uncle, and you keep taking the money. When it's time to submit your yansh, better do so sharp sharp and with immediate alacrity. Brhoe, there is no free lunch in free town . You must vomit all you've swallowed, otherwise be ready to swallow |
LadySarah:Hmmm. True. I always just pity children found in such difficult circumstances, used as pawns by their parents. It's better they're all drinking gari together than sending them to live with someone else, who might end up maltreating them. They may not even beat them or starve them, but they're usually not there for the children emotionally. All these things count for a child to grow up balanced. |
Shut up and purchase more ventilators. You better get ready to spend all the monies contributed in the right quarters and not line your pockets. The country doesn't even have enough to meet the regular needs of the smallest state in Nigeria, talkmore of this pandemic affecting the nation. Any that is purchased now will still serve it's purpose even after the pandemic is over, if we're all still alive by then. Imagine having about only a 100 ventilators for a population of 200million. May madness strike all the families of these thieves down. Bastards |
Farki:Absolutely, he's not asking too much. I completely agree with the bolded Same way the wife won't be asking too much for him to contribute his physical quota in the running of their household. The children would always benefit from their dad looking after them and they also form a stronger bond with him. The wife is happier when she's not the only one doing the chores either. Everyone's happy. Oga should also be happy he is able to co-provide acts of love/ service for his family, as madam is also happy to be able to co-provide school fees and a roof over their heads. I belive we are saying the same thing or do you have any disagreement to what I've just said? |
Farki:It's not a fight for dominance but for survival. It is wickedness and highly irresponsible to expect your wife to be superwoman, while you remain the regular joe. It breeds resentment at the end of the day. Many women are overworked and overstressed from doing it all. That's why some look older than even their husbands who are older than them. They become worn out, and just tired of life because they don't have supportive partners who pull weight. They have to run around to look for money, and at the same time do all the chores and look after the children, while the husbands only bring in some of the money . That's why they wonder atimes if they won't be better doing it all alone by themselves, because it already appears as though they're alone anyway. |
Jman06:Women should contribute financially. They also have hands and brains for a reason. Same way men should learn to take care of children, cooking and house chores. They also have hands and brains for a reason. You cannot be an adult female or male, and be so dependent on another adult like you. You all should learn to be useful to each other and to the society. Learn to use those hands and brains. Learn to mop those floors and wash those restrooms, as cleanliness is next to godliness. Learn to make that money baby, otherwise you deserve to starve. |
Alvin212:I hope you know Regina was a household name even before she got married to Ned. Till now, she still acts and does her thing despite marriage to a very rich man. He hasn't tried to stop her from acting and doing her thing, and so far he has been very supportive |
I hope while she is also bringing in the money, you're also pulling your weight with childcare and house chores. It will be wicked of you to expect her to come back home from work everyday, and start cooking, washing and doing all sorts. If you want things to work out well, get ready to also pick your kids from school, do homework, look after them while mum is at work on days you're free. You should also be ready to get dinner ready for your wife on certain days of the week, and handle the washing when it's your turn. That been said, I am all for women working and getting to the height of their endeavours. I believe real empowerment comes when you're able to take care of the financial needs of yourself and family. You learn to appreciate every dime, and you actually plan well around money. Marriage is always teamwork anyway. |
Advancedman:Who knows? Look at all the crowd there and all those who were 10 feet around him 360 degrees. Also remember those people also have others surrounding them The virus is not only transmitted by sneezing etc, it can also stay on surfaces for a long time hence also spreads by contact |
People really need to be careful with their utterances. It seems the gods want to really use this virus to humble people and nations. |
Citytrend:Hmmm Adenuga is rich o.. He has a telecom company He is into oil and gas- Conoil He has a bank - (I've forgotten the name of his bank) Key areas where big money is in Nigeria |
babyfaceafrica:Yes Unless of course you believe the whole thread is a lie, a figment of someone's imaginationz concocted to help us take our minds off the covik 1-9. Stranger things have happened on NL afterall. |
