Streetinvestor2:You got the drift brother. All those useless ratings are irrelevant to us and our market. Let them focus on their developed countries and stop tarnishing the economy's image upandan |
Princkez:Lol. Let's wait for analysts breakdown of the circular and possible counter explanation from CBN. Sometimes, CBN acts as if they're confused or answering to a "Master" on certain decisions. Let's see how events unfold in coming days..... |
sterlingD:It's irrelevant! So also these Fitch and the likes..... Why will they come up with such re-classification around the time the govt was making frantic efforts to woo investors? What does their upgrade even bring to the table in the first place? I for one doesn't take them serious anyway, not expecting serious minded investors either. Mr. Market has a mind of its own, it will stabilize regardless of all the theories the analysts will be coming up with. |
agbanimu11:Today's pullback/dumping was unexplainable so far, especially in banking sector..... Few other sectors joined towards closing due to panic I guess...... Such moves wasn't expected around this time..... If it's Peter's school fees mantra, then it can't activate such panic...... If it's the news about FTSE's downgrade, who are they? Of what value or importance or relevance was their classification to the country? I think the panic triggered by this was/is unjustifiable! Those guys always have a mission to distabilize the economy, necessary authorities needs to step in urgently to stop their "cra.ze".

Some NASCON gotten @53.65, 52.25 today..... Some will rush out blindly and regret the action..... Some will be booking profits....... More of trader's activities... It's well. We see how tomorrow goes again.... |
vacanci:Traditionally, that's how ZENITH behaves...... Has nothing to do with the fundamentals...... After dumping, they most likely come back for it again... Yes, we could say it's example of a market having its own mind...... That's the more reason it's good to define your investment objectives, so you won't be joining in jumping upandan about... After the dumping, it will stabilize again...... We are not in generational low yet......from the look of things..... ![]() |
FBNH Done with pullback..... This ZENITH na one wahala stock........after release of result they'll start dumping, and they will still come back for it...... ![]() Down to 34.80......now @35, let's see how it goes.... UBA from 13.80......to 14.30.....Back to 13.80.... SUGAR @60, Salt @54......so far.... * Today's market red small, banking especially......we see how it goes tomorrow again.... ** Not any form of advice** |
Labdi69:Your buying charges has been factored into the cost price, hence the reason you saw that the cost price is higher than the amount you picked it on the floor. In Morgan, you will see another column that specify your "selling charges" as well as your "break-even price"...........meaning, your selling price has also been factored into the cost of selling, which if you sell at that "break-even price" or above, amount realized is your profit. * Just used Morgan as example, I don't know if it's similar for Meristem too* |
crownprince2017:Na wa o. ![]() If you follow my posts in relations to this you would have known my stand on it......and I even mentioned that I'll risk some due to some controversies on some of the news on Oando's purchase of AGIP. ![]() I thought you said you risked some before? As it is now, you may just have to follow your mind o. Risk it with the amount you can afford to lose should it go back to below 7. OANDO has around 50/50% chances .......the possibility that it might attract more attention is there, possibility of going back to below 7 or continue going up to around 15.........and some of the risks involved had been highlighted in some of the posts. Why not consider NASCON too? It's been selling around 54/55 today, and if it goes down more, the better..... * Currently on pullback......closed on 52.20... As a newbie, concentrate higher % of your portfolio on dividend paying stocks that are fundamentally sound.......while you play the other stocks with small %. |
E Ku Market o. ![]() F.u.g.a.z. on pullback........ Guess people are afraid because of the FX loss recorded by Unity..... ![]() Opportunity for bargainers to take position....... OANDO: Full bid @8.45...... * UBA, ACCESS results may likely be out this week...... |
Labdi69:In my humble opinion, I don't see anything wrong in the stocks you bought if you have the plan to wait them out or if you're a long termer. SUGAR, Fidelity, Transcorp are good. Taking risk in OANDO is equally not bad if you already weigh your options, knew the risks involved and you play safe. Many loaded this same stock @3/4/5/5.50 even 6. In NSE, one can never say Never. We've seen the worst performed best (or exit as the case may be) and..... best becoming a laggard or give little returns on investment or even stagnant. Examples plenty, but make I stop there. |
megamart247:* Titan Trust Bank already acquired UBN 💯% and paid take-over price of N7 to minority shareholders. * Many have collected their payouts and finished chopping it or diverted it to another stock self. * We don't know Titan's plan while UBN is still being traded on the exchange.......but... * It may be delisted at any time or change name ** I'll rather advice you stay away from Union Bank and carry your funds to another stock where you'll have peace of mind. https://www.google.com/amp/s/nairametrics.com/2023/01/03/nigerias-most-memorable-corporate-deal-in-2022-was-between-titan-trust-bank-and-union-bank/%3famp=1 |
otokx:Oga, how do you want anyone to know or reply you without link(s)? If you want us to contribute to some of these things, always post links so we can also check it out, learn and be informed too. |
* Betaglass started it's journey Northwards since Wednesday...........weird stock.... ![]() * SUGAR, ZENITH: Sighted in green zone ..... SUGAR @66......up with +N2 so far.......@67..... Closed @64.15.... WAPCO: Getting some attention.......maybe long termers activities... |
essentialone:Lol. Make yourself happy, it's good for the body. ![]() You all were mentioning it codedly, why didn't you all post links nah? Had to go search for it. Hopefully, they'll re-consider the highest price in the last six months or slightly higher if they're generous. https://nairametrics.com/2023/09/06/pz-cussons-minority-shareholders-reject-n21-share-acquisition-offer/ |
Mpeace:Ok. Thanks. *Modified* |
Mpeace:Mpeace shey you don see your people bah? NNPC not against Oando's purchase of AGIP again........ Told you it was initial denial..... How could OANDO have been bold enough to inform NGX about ENI acquisition if NNPC and Minister were not involved or informed?? Bunch of jokers...... ![]()
|
trueherald:Don't sell anything at loss, especially what you're not sure of the actual price mvmt, or is pulling back or is fundamentally okay....... It can make a U-turn at any time again......daily fluctuations can be bad for decision making most times. |
ogoo4real:You wan rush out of Sugar or Oil bah? My ogas says you should go and become investors, so you can stop pursuing upandan of prices..... ![]() ATM, OANDO is 7.10/7.15.... Sugar @64.75... Seems someone or an entity is exiting Sugar, maybe suspension time is getting close or something.....but the more he's selling, the more some long termers and bargain hunters are buying.......from observation... |
SUGAR down to 60 before picking up again.... Could this be profit taking? From 60......to 63 now.....63.40....... OANDO: The Ogas that crashed the price una well done o. Was moving close to full bid earlier... What will be will surely be..... ![]() Funny enough, they'll go and wait for it at bargain junction again.... |
OANDO * Too many transactions within few minutes of market opening...... - The lowest it went was 7.10 so far .... - Now selling btw 7.50 /7.60 range....7.70.......7.85.....7.55...7.65.....7.40......7.10.....7... ** Caveat: Not any form of advice** |
edwardaigb:My Oga answered you already.... No known reason for now.......except SA and possibilities of any good news surfacing because of the industry it belongs....... |
Electricity Tarriff * For TRANSCORP faithfuls.... https://sunnewsonline.com/nerc-hikes-price-of-electricity-meters-by-40/ |
crownprince2017:* While looking for information, it's obvious you never look for information on this thread! Because if you did, you won't ask those questions, especially with the time you said you stumbled on this thread, 2019/2020. Most of my ogas and those of us you mentioned have been very active on this thread till date, dishing out various vital info. For instance, in 2020 when ZENITH went as low as 10.70 due to COVID-19 issue, Oga RabbiDoracle and my other ogas were here telling us how investing in ZENITH, GT and quite a lot of other stocks were very cheap and would be very rewarding. Today, the rest is history. As for sending PM, I usually reply most PMs......but I reduced it to monikers I'm familiar with on this thread because if I replied, they won't get back again or will get back with something completely different, which I may then ignore or reply as the case may be. I've said it before here. If you're following this thread, read past pages and ask questions, you may not need any personal tutelage again, especially since you're in that line already. |
Mpeace:Surprised you easily fall for this cheap propaganda from NNPCL. No be today dem dey say opposite of what they do nah. ENI already signed agreement with OANDO on this deal. * How is it possible for NNPC not to be aware or involved in this process from the onset? * While signing the agreement, is it possible for a representative of NNPC and relevant govt body not to be present? ** Pengassan was reported to be aggrieved because they were not carried along......If the deal wasn't done yet, why will Pengassan be threatening strike? * As for Ministerial approval, how are we sure the relevant minister wasn't aware and gave his consent? And how will the approval be difficult if the President wades into the matter? ** Please note that I'm just looking at the obvious here and not supporting or opposing OANDO. In fact, even if I wasn't interested in OANDO before, I'll buy tashere units today with amount I can afford to lose based on this. ![]() https://www.eni.com/en-IT/media/press-release/2023/09/eni-signs-agreement-sell-naoc.html https://newtelegraphng.com/pengassan-threatens-shutdown-over-sale-of-naoc-eni-nigeria/ |
megawealth01:Let's hope your brother Loco haven't rushed out again without seeing what's pursuing him yet...... ![]() |
Kreos44:Lol. We don carry touchlight go OANDO house..... ![]() Market not generally doing badly so far...... * Some Pullback in Sugar btw 68.30/68.80......retailers activities..... * OANDO: Still on full bid @7.35 till now...... * TRANSCORP: Getting investors attn and moving up gradually..,.....@6.89 as at now.... |
mikeapollo:Think you made some valid points here. Shareholders should reject the buyout price at the Court Ordered meeting, then case closed.... ![]() Either the company will be forced to up the buyout price or drop exit and continue to operate as listed company. Let's be watching the drama sha....... |
E Ku Market o. Battle for the soul of OANDO the newest bride in town........ ![]() Currently trading @7.35 in market....... Went as low as 6.80.........now @7.35..... I hope shareholders can forced the management to pay higher exit price if the price goes much up than CP...... especially since the case is still in court.........that's if the company will eventually delist self. Think we've talked about this here as well. ** Caveat: Not to be taking as any form of advice**
|
Series of Sugar chains....... No be small thing.......
|
Ajibade123:Where were you since all these days that it was trading at below 5.50? ![]() No comment on OANDO for now, except the daily updates..... Case is in Court and we don't know what the outcome will be yet. If it favours, OANDO dey go up be that oooo, it will turn to another Sugar possibly.........but if delisting stands, then the buyout price is N7.07. * If to say you'd picked btw 5/5.50, then you have nothing to fear, either way it's win-win, but as it is now......lip sealed first ![]() |
