The mavin album was very good for me. Its jus the negative publicity generated by d whole breakup episode dat hurt its sales and not the quality of songs on d album.

Lagos is d entertaiment mecca and once u've conquered it, u've made it. As such, artist try once in a while to put up a tune to capture the heart of the city. Am gonna start from bottom to top.

5- slim T: lagosians- really easy track wit a easy ear-friendly lyrics to keep u nodding ur head. Really good video too. Nice track that deserves more airplay
4- storm all stars: eko ile- storm artists came together to rep lagos on this track. Had a hard hitting beat with diverse verses from the artists
3- lagos city: naeto c-yeah now this was one fusion of hiphop and afro beat got my attention. Had that fela feel @ d background. And had naeto c rhymin as if he had a lot on his chest
2- jesse jagz:las gidi grinding-if this beat didn't move u, nothin will. It was hard and gutter. And jargo spat wit such authority that u get to have a glimpse @ his immense all round potential. Intoxicatin track
1- jimmy jatt: stylee-am sure this choice needs no xplanation. It was an all star cast that positioned lagos as naija's music summit. Very good video as well.

For haters of the song, points to note:
1-clubs exist, they r places where pple go to unwind and relax
2-music can aid relaxation, hence the need for club songs to compliment the club scene
3-hence since "your waist" satisfies these conditions, it is therefore certified a club jam
4-as such, its a foolish person dat puts on a club jam and expects inspirational lyrics
5-so y not play artists like, ASA, nneka, Bez, adol, since they have enuff content to satisfy ur needs
6-since I took my time to break it down, anybody that stil doesn't get it is a fool with all due respect.

Interesting topic. But I wudnt compare both movies. One is dark with more emphasis on story than action while the other is lighthearted with extremely satisfyin action. Its was easier to come up with a complex story for TDKR cos it was a conclusion of the series, while a complex storyline for a movie like avengers wit all those numerous superheroes strugglin for airtime wud have produced a 4hr movie @ least. As much as I like the TDKR, I must say that the action was kinda poor and its not a movie u'd like to see more than once, max twice cos once u get d amazin story, ur not gonna sit down for another 2hrs plus to have it re-told. The avengers stayed true to its comic origins by deliverin wat it did. To witness the assembly of such childhood heroes the way they did was an xperience not to b missed. I being the type to slow down an uppercut so as to feel d impact was totally satisfied by the action in avengers. Even seeing how they got d castin and costuming of those characvters spot on was amazing. Overall, I'd say avengers is slightly better. But I really don't think its a competition as both are different.

Its a tough one. D soccerteam are out of contention because they were not d first to win a medal or d first to win d Gold medal soccer is a team sport so they should chill. Their Gold in football has less significance cos of wat I've mentioned. And even though mary onyali was thoroughly significant in winnin 2 medals over 2 olympic events, my vote has to go to chioma ajunwa cos Gold is Gold and the winner of ouur first Gold is a hero anyday

Was suprised I didn't see a similar thread since nas dropped his life's good album. Nas has always been that wild flower whose lack of musical direction always left his fans demanding for more. This album finally does justice to one of d greatest rappers ever as the potential seen when he stormed the world of rap with the classic illmatic is finally realised. This album is thoroughly satisfyin as nas breezes tru a wide variety of topics including his well publisced marital breakdown. B4 I talk about the songs, permit me to say that his album cover the best I've seen in a very long time. As for the music, for now I can't get over accidental murderers and locomotive. On a lighter mood, where I've been, daughters and reach out are sure to keep u listening. While cherry wine, world's and addiction, stay, and where's d love will keep ur musical spirit nourished.
Wonderful album from Nas overall. The only track I didn't feel was d noisy summer on smash with swizz beatz. And this album managed to give u a lil' bit of dat old sckool rap will so desperately miss. Best rap album this year by far.

after watching this movie yestday @ d abuja premier, I must say dat nolan is nothing but a genius. This movie is an epic that will take u on an emotional ride so intense that you'l b left spellbound. Never has a trilogy been concluded with such quality. Nolan was hesistant on a third part @ first cos he felt without a good story, he ran d risk of sufferin d same fate as third installments of other franchises that ended up as rubbish. Superman 3 was a comic failure, spiderman 3 was unnecessary and batman and robin was a joke. But nolan learnt his lesson and gave us a befittin end to the best comic book movie trilogy ever. While studio executives wanted riddler to b the villain, nolan knew it was too risky to have a villain that will b forever compared with the legendary joker in the first sequel. Instead he went for sumtin differnt, a villain that wud test batman physically and bane fit perfectly. To see batman fight so intensely in a one on one combat was amazing. But @ d end of day its d movie's story dat does the magic. Great great movie!!!

Wat exactly is dbanj doin @ GOOD music? I xpected this track to b produced by kanye or @ least a producer wit GOOD music but I hear its J-sleeky. I didn't see I'm in d video of kanye's "mercy" where the whole GOOD music crew showed up includin one wack rapper called 2chainz. Those 2 albums were worth every kobo! Best albums for me in a long time. If u need to travel wit ur car, get them and see how a 2hr trips reduces to 20mins! 9ice is amazing
