I don't know of any other country (preferably developed) which owes its civil workers 15 month salary. Nevertheless, It doesn't make it right if there is such a country.

In the UK one is paid per week.

I keep on imagining how I would survive if I am to take up such a job in a service where I am owed 1 year and 3 month salary.

Painful thing (about Nigeria) is that basic infrastructure is still not right and then they place ridiculous amount of attention on project that are derivatives from a solid infrastructural stand point.

They keep talking about databases (no maybe they don't talk about it that much but the news and blunders they reel on a daily sure suggests they should get one), meanwhile no reliable electric supply that would power the systems is available

Talk about security, meanwhile the road is GD bad AF (meanwhile, do you know that the resources to fix road is not lacking?)

Talk about reducing carbon emissions, but roads are still bad hence cars will pollute the environment more

Talk about healthcare delivery, but because road are bad, the chances of someone in an emergency ambulance has just gone negative; I experienced blows from the vehicle bouncing up and down as a healthy human being- i felt real pains not until I saw an ambulance on rescue mission on the other lane slamming its patient and paramedic cargo repeatedly into potholes heck "drumholes"; pretty more like mini-sink holes because the dunks I saw had me thinking the patient inside might not survive

Just fixing roads, will reduce cost prices; because people will spend less on fuel, will spend less time on a trip and have time for more trips/other productive activities.

The judge got this one wrong, you can not remand a girl this young in prison and a case that look civil. Bearing in mind no previous conviction against her and she must have been of good character hence she got the job. The judge should have release her on bail on condition she report at her local police station every week or come back to the police with sureties. This is an example of how a state manufacture criminals. My cousin in uk went to prison for 6 weeks, when he came out he had all the contacts in the dark world from this to that , all made in prison.
