Jobs/VacanciesRe: Jobs/vacancies Section Chatroom by yorex2011: 8:15pm On Aug 14, 2016
At least thats how I'd pull off the huge heist, but of course I'm not a con man or a criminal. I'm just a normal dude,
Wonder how someone like Sergei Mavrodi would pull it off, considering his expertise in fraud ans ponzi schemes and criminal history

Well what do I know.. cheesy..
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Jobs/vacancies Section Chatroom by yorex2011: 8:09pm On Aug 14, 2016
So this MMM craze, getting Nigerians to scam themselves,
People claiming to go about it smartly and know when to pull out.

Funny thing is they know it will collapse, yet they want to make money of it before it does (i.e someone else's hard earned money)

The psychology involved in the Mavrodi scheme is deep rooted and quite ingenious i must say lol

[10:37am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: HOW TO GET AWAY WITH SCAMMING A COUNTRY
[10:38am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Any likeness to real characters or organizations is coincidental.... Or maybe not
[10:39am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: So there was this guy name Mavrolo who wanted to make some mega bucks
[10:39am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: He was a con guy who wanted to up his game
[10:40am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: He read up on ponzi schemes and mlm and all that but came to the realization that people were already getting smarter
[10:41am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: So he read some books on human psychology and devised a new method
[10:41am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Simple, yet potentially lethal as it directly uses our innate human tendencies
[10:42am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: He went to a country and set up a website where users sign up and pay money, and are guaranteed of a 30 percent interest by the end of 30days
[10:43am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Project Epsilon had begun
[10:43am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: The alpha stage, getting people to sign up
[10:44am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: He developed a clever means where instead of paying in to the company, you pay to the users directly
[10:44am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: People who you can relate with, fellow country men
[10:45am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Now the people feel, wow, this cannot be a scam, after all we are directly dealing with ourselves
[10:45am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: This is awesome, we like a huge community, sweeeeeet
[10:47am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: So they joined, you offer to help a fellow country man and you pay directly into his account and voila! You are entitled to receive 30 percent extra at the end of the month, which will be paid into your account directly by another user
[10:47am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: OMG this is awesome, this way there is trust, they can't scam us afterall we are dealing directly with each other
[10:48am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: The two, the lambda stage
[10:49am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Its been months and peopke have been helping each other, getting 30 percent, obviously mr Mavrolo isn't gaining or losing, he's job is just to keep the website and community working
[10:49am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: At this stage, let me pose a question
[10:50am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: If you had a secret chest where you put in money and it doubles it for you
[10:50am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Will you put in the doubled money back in so that it redoubles it or walk away
[10:52am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: 98 percent of people will put it back in and will keep doing so, the 2percenf extra is to account for people who may have died mysteriously after taking out the cash lolz
[10:52am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: I'm sure you get the point
[10:52am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: So the psychology of human greed and human trust allows for a constant flow of money in the system
[10:53am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Of course Mavrolo doesn't have access, he only watches, builds more trusts and have more volume of money in the "community"
[10:54am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Penultimate stage, omicron stage
[10:54am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Create fake people, that have likeness to your country men
[10:54am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: This will be done as the months go by
[10:55am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Create bank accounts and identification for each, and assign to actual people who are actual citizens of the country
[10:55am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: They become his henchmen and are planted into the community and scattered like a virus
[10:56am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: These moles are real people with fake properties
[10:56am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Phi stage
[10:57am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: People are now comfortable and are offering help in millions (human greed)...
[10:57am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Assign as much people who want to help to each member of your mole
[10:58am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Eg assign 1000 people who want to offer help of 100,000+ worth of currency to one mole
[10:59am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: They all pay in and are patiently waiting for their thirty days plus
[10:59am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Now my mavrolo had over 1000 of such moles which had been created over time
[11:00am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Halfway through the month, all his moles have receive help worth billions
[11:01am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Of course he still helps normal folk too, so that there is still that air of people defending the scheme saying i received help from so so person (mole of course)..
[11:01am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Final stage
[11:01am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Stage Omega
[11:01am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Mavrolo pulls the plug
[11:01am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Deletes everything and anything having to do with the scheme
[11:02am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Few people gained, majority lose... Those who gained are the few who pulled out, which case is very very small, cos of human greed
[11:03am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: And the country he chose was one which was having economic woes so everyone looking for as much income as possible
[11:03am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Lol, Mr Mavrolo has made billions
[11:04am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: Using only human psychology and some php (web development language)
[11:04am, 8/11/2016] Emmanuel: End of story...

Christianity EtcRe: Forgiveness: Weakness Of Christianity? by yorex2011: 10:46am On Aug 14, 2016
Forgiveness for me stems from the fact that the hands of time cannot be turned back.
Since the action cannot be undone, then no need to hurt yourself more by dwelling on the hurt inflicted on you already.
Truth is its human nature to err as even you would need forgiveness from people you have hurt.
Generally i feel forgiveness makes you happy, it gives you a sense of control over your own happiness. If one hurts you, then you forgive, but if the person continues with the same thing and takes your forgiveness for granted, then you give the person a life lesson that will make them learn, of course you forgive, but this time with a lesson attached. Wisdom will help decide the kind of lesson that will be taught but generally can be very effective.

I've been taught such lessons in my life and I'm grateful for them as it has helped me become wiser, cos truth is those things you did, if had been committed against someone else may have been catastrophic.

Bottomline, forgive because you are not perfect...
But ensure help the person hurting you see things in a different way. .

Lolz do u believe that dreams are spiritual?
Do you think its possible to dream of something and days later, it happens the exact way you saw it in the dream,
The odds that its a coincidence is very very very small
Then if that's the case, then it might exist that there was some unexplainable force behind that dream.
Christianity EtcRe: Every Nigerian Atheist Should Be Outspoken by yorex2011: 9:40am On Aug 14, 2016
Truth is i like reading these threads every now and then when I'm bored, though will never change my belief.
And I don't judge anyone based on religion.
We all just want to make the world a better place.
Just a pity that some folks have hid in the name of religion to commit atrocities.
Christianity EtcRe: Every Nigerian Atheist Should Be Outspoken by yorex2011: 9:30am On Aug 14, 2016
Do all atheists think that by virtue of their atheism they are more intelligent than others.
If an atheist eventually sees an amputee grow back his limbs, he would still argue that its science, or that its a well delivered prop, even if God shows himself to them, or if they encounter something in their dream, they'll still say it was some sort of illusion and look for a scientific explanation. They just don't want to believe that there's a God no matter whatever physical proof or encounter that they have. Its just the way things are.

Seun if you see an amputee's limb grow back with your own two eyes after maybe a prayer,
1. Believe there is a God
2. Look for a science to explain it, maybe there's some new revolutionary science, etc
3. Look around for the visual effects or props.

Truth is everyone believes what he wants to believe and even with proofs can still decide to go all "confirmation bias" on the proof / argument.

Using the ten commandments as an analogy doesn't follow here.
These lists serve as just guidelines but can actually be counterproductive depending on the situation, the ability to judge the situation and make the best choice based on how deep you have thought about it is the wisdom.

Wisdom should tell you that you shudnt kill, you don't need a list for that..

Generally when it comes to relationship matters, anything goes so most times these things don't work.
Take Bishop Adeboye's statement about marrying men that don't have jobs.
Think about it, which sane man will want to get married without the ability to take care of his family, a man doesn't need a list to tell him that...

32 * 189 = 6400 - 352 = 6048

160 *2345 = 234500 + 46900 + 46900 + 46900

Here's what i think
the top navigation tab should have followed topics, likes/shares, mentions, and trending

the sidebar should have the different forums (whic would be arranged based on the users followed boards) or have a default arrangement

the icon bar on the userprofile in the sidebar would have the users dp, then his signature beneath .

click would link to the account/edit profile activity

nairaland may not have a web api of sorts but you can be clever with Curl or something of sorts

eventually Seun should adopt something like this and incorporate his ads in it too.

eventually can even have a premium live chat section in the app if need be

possibilities are endless...

i'm not so good in programming yet, but my mind works like a computer in thinking and/or problem solving

i go bad wella when i don good for programming sha grin grin

only the small php i know sef with my little sql and javascript i can program a forum like this from scratch. at least i already know all i need to do. just implement/syntax thigs which i can always get

know how to solve the problem : implement the solution

Relationships these days are just becoming too stressful haba
I feel for both the girl and the guy sha.
She doesn't know she's just being used, thats how those so-called student leaders/politicians are.
Eventually things will come crashing down

Tell your friend, then also tell him that he shouldn't say anything to the girl. He should if he likes consider himself single and feel free to get another babe.

The girl has broken up with him by having another boyfriend, which she didn't hide.
So your guy doesn't need to breakup or do anything as the girl has already broken up with him.

E go pain wella, but make him just save himself from the heartache.

Left for me I won't advice or say anything to the girl, experience is the best teacher. Let her learn the brutal way so that she'll respect the next man (prolly her husband) that she dates. She's old enuf to make decisions and face the consequences of her actions.

God bless her and your friend and you.

Hello guys, Thanks for your contributions on the career routing discourse, especially from the graduate Engineers.

Here is another question awaiting your invaluable contributions.

Have you ever worked with a nonperforming colleague? How best did you handle it? What approach is most appropriate to making him/her become better at the job?
Non performing in relation to you?
