What those Hollywood celebrities will never tell you is the expensive plastic surgery procedure they undergo.

Abi o. You see men developing pot belies after marriage. At least the women lose their shapes when bringing children into the world. What's the men's excuse?
A tired excuse women give. Do you know the dedication and time put into working out? They also watch what they eat. Hw many surgeries has Omosexy done? Celebrities are dedicated because a fat, unattractive star would lose relevance.
We men see our women as our own celebrities but unfortunately they are too lazy most times. No motivation even when u talk to them.
Meanwhile i would rather look at an overweight guy than an overweight woman.
Family › Women, Childbirth And Laziness by zed7(op): 5:43pm On Oct 09, 2015
I keep seeing women blow up after childbirth and their excuse is that pregnancy expands the body. No doubt pregnancy is stressful but with discipline both in exercise and diet u can get any shape back.
We have seen celebrity chicks with multiple kids still have a banging bod after childbirth. Example are chics like The Kardashian girls, Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie, Omotola etc.
I agree that celebrities don't have a choice than to keep in shape because of their jobs. So should it be with regular women. Your husband still needs u hot as smoke. It even helps your self esteem. Nothing as sweet as being called a hot mum.
Please ladies, pregnancy and childbirth isn't a curse.
I don't even want to hear that celebrities have maids and personal trainers. Exercise doesn't cost much. Even when d kids are asleep, take time out to work out. Nothing attractive about a shapeless woman. Dieting is cheaper than gluttony . In d long run, everyone wins. You, your proud hubby and kids.

Funny story. Why not drop money on d floor in a populated area? Why take d risk to go to a school?
Anybody believing this is suffering from mental retardation.

Marriage is not meant for everyone. Most married people don't know the meaning of marriage.

For those who want to get married go ahead, for those who prefer to be single go ahead. Choosing not to be married is a personal thing, no need celebrating it and acting like it's an achievement, same with the married folks.

Lesson learnt. I used to take my newborn pictures even with my flash on. I have learned a lesson today.
Family › Re: Why Most Young Working Class Nigerian Bachelors Are Broke by zed7: 8:55am On Jul 29, 2015
Nice points. However, i think people are usually broke, whether bachelor or married when they do not cultivate the habit of saving from childhood.

Parents should give their children allowances each week and ask them to account for how it was spent. Correct them in case of extravagance and reward them if they spend prudently.

I know many married men who are always broke. Saving, discipline and contentment is the best way to ensure you always have money for the rainy days.

It's a pity u are living with a difficult woman. Try and record your conversations. Someday u may need it to vindicate yourself. For now, try and keep calm.

Typo. I meant sensor.
Travel › Re: Ikeja City Mall (Shoprite) Escalator Excites Lagosians by zed7:
Really? Nor be their fault sha. Whatever u don't know would always be a spectacle. I remember when i first saw a tap dat uses sensors. I wanted to wash my hand and couldn't see a knob. I had to wait for someone else to enter d restroom and monitored how he used it before i could operate it.

Pele! I guess you are right. It's true women always find it hard to see men as victims especially in issues of domestic abuse. So please accept my sincere apologies!

How are you coping? Do you have shared custody of the child / children? I hope there is still an opportunity to settle but I honestly detest domestic violence.

Pele once more Zed7
Fortunately I'm in a wonderful marriage. Was just curious about ur reaction.
Good luck to u all. But some men really are in bondage. Let's never forget dat.

How does divorce help in this case? She isn't even seeing him before. Let her find a way to bring him back. Pressurize family members or something.

So what? Women never believe men are going through hell too. I just knew i would be doubted but if i was a woman now, u would sympathise with me and not bother verifying my story.
Double standards.

Ok. So I'm also separated because she used to beat and maltreat me. Called me names and refuses to offer sex or food but keeps demanding mny. Had to bail out.

Is that what your god does? Give people sexually adventurous wives? Why are people so dull on nairaland?
Family › Re: A Cheating Husband Is Not The Worst Thing That Can Happen In Marriage. by zed7: 10:17am On Jun 04, 2015
How many Nigerian women have left their husbands for cheating only? Most cases of divorce I've seen is because of abuse, neglect, irresponsibility and maybe in addition to cheating.

Yet to see a woman who marries a hardworking, providing, and decent man whose only weakness is cheating. Men fantasize about sleeping with any good looking female. Sex doesn't equate to love for men, more like adventure.

Your husband is a mild mannered guy. He is gentle and that is his personality. You can't really change him. I expect u to know the kind of man u have, even right from when u were dating.

I'm also a gentle guy but i lay the law, no matter who feels bad. Honestly, u should try and be the outspoken one. Not rude but tell people what u dislike in a very polite manner. It's silly to be suffering and smiling.
Family › Re: How Much Should I Give Her For Monthly Upkeep by zed7: 3:02pm On May 14, 2015
Women of course will reason with their hearts and not their heads. We need to guide them. I can see them saying the 100k sef too small.
To be honest, nothing is too much to spend on ur family but one must be reasonable. That you earn much today doesn't guarantee u will earn same tomorrow.
Always try to live a lifestyle u can maintain so that even if things go wrong, one can adjust without getting frustrated. U don't eat all u have in one day.
500k is a lot of mny for the average Nigerian worker. I would advice u spend like someone who earns 250k. Save the rest and invest in tomorrow. We have seen many well paid people struggle after losing a job. A lot even borrow to sustain the former lifestyle.
A real man is one who can provide the basic necessary comfort at all times and not one that can provide luxury for a while and then be a shadow of himself tomorrow.
Meanwhile, madam should also work too. When u guys finally become really successful, u can spend 100k a day on food sef if u like.
Family › Re: I've Been Combing My Conscience, was I Wrong? I Need Someone To Help Analyse This by zed7: 6:07am On May 13, 2015
Your narration online is unnecessary. People will end up misleading u and putting silly ideas into ur head.
U and ur husband have made up. Not every one can be close to their in-laws. Just make sure the relationship between hubby and ur parents is cordial.
Try not to take most of the advice here seriously. U will end up causing more harm than good in ur marriage.
To be honest you seem a very bright lady but a little immature. Maybe u should start working on that first. Cheers.

Quality men are scarce anyway. Women are getting desperate.

We all have our choices. Personally, Reign is too "girly" for me. Not saying it's a bad series. Just doesn't meet my taste.
