Nutritional drinks, I used to gv my baby, (a teen now), kia-Ora, fort-nightly Yazoo, Kool-Aid, no sugar-laden drinks, you can make Sobo and Ginger-beer to taste
there's more. Hope I helped. The trick is variety and re-invention, combos. You won't be bored anymore and the children will have fun.

bits of chicken, (from left-over), white riçe (left-over), bits of plaintain, sweetcorn, use chicken stock to mix all items. To save you from drudgery and early morning getting-ready-for-school-battle, make Monday's lunch from Sunday's main meal. Make most lunch over-night, hope nepa, oops phcn helps
Can you fry yam, (I wasn't too good), wit the veggie they like, fried in blue-band, tastier. Mine loved a lot of veggies from start.
Always serve meals with fruits they like, like mine, if they are picky-eaters, somethg grabs their attention
try beans in other forms of course, they fall for it all the time.
blend bread, onions and tomatoes, pour in egg, fry. My invention,

sphagetti with Liberian sauce, very attractive. Try white rice and sardine if they like, you must learn to bake BREAD, sussages and meat-pie too, no running away from this.
Spice up beaten egg, roll slice of bread in mixture, fry. Again do not burn, golden brown ok.
My baby, picky, so used aunt Jemima.
Sometimes cereal plus add-ons. Do not add milk until abt to eat.

I know how you feel, really, cos was in this palaver years ago, did loads about it
here goes
Frankfurters/ham, cheese & biscuits,
dairy (hope they like sussages, mine did not but I blackmailed),
Tender turkey, dairy slices & biscuits (stole this from a lunch-pack pressie).
potatoes, chips style or boiled, don't forget the ketch-up. do not be frustrated if they don't like some foods at first.
Yam meat-balls rub mashed yam mixed wit minced/mashed meat in flour, dip in egg yolk, fry, deep.
Pan-cakes; must know how to make 'em scrumptious or the children won't eat. do not burn, their mates will laugh at them and label you a bad cook for eternity. I burnt mine.
Puff-puffs. And always try to make these meals balanced.
Fish-fingers and bread. you can make fish-fingers ya self.
Thin bread,  pancake or tortilla style which will fold veggies & CHICKEN, CHICKEN CHICKEN or meat, mashed.(spring-roll style).
Greens, there must be one they like. was blessed mine was kinda vegan from babyhood, prolly all those mashed fruits eaten.
Macaroni & cheese, I hate but baby liked.
sandwiches of course, go wild, how about boiled egg & mayo, we still consume this, me the agbaya!
pea-nut butter, make your own
be creative; make mousa,

used to own one until I realised I get burned when I expose my skin to heat. The steam vapour was the culprit. I exfoliate without the heat and it works for me. I don't use hot water to bathe cos my skin darkens easily. But of course its ok to exfoliate with steam vapours if you can tolerate it cos its a good way for deep-cleansing, open pores et al.

shoes should flatter the wearer. Not a good sight when a gal with large sized feet wears pumps or skinny ankles adorned in ankle straps. most can get away with the t-strap though. Style and shape matters. have not -too fantastic feet but you'd never know cos I wear what flatters. wedgies? everyone's fave. Mary janes, invented just for dear ol me. Sling-backs give me the silhouette I need for confidence, little wonder they're my signature shoes

and our sistas may be encouraged to come out of the closet.

I have heard it said that men want a good woman in the house, a good cook in the kitchen and a prostitute in bed.

Men sef!

my grand parents may not have been taught intimacy but my take is, there is intimacy and there is intimacy. Who knows, after church on sunday a la HOTR, our brodas will know the very fine details of sex and pre-intimacy,  the fore-play that makes them put their women first, the fore-play that teaches that a wife should be loved.

Sex was designed for married people so Pastor carry go. Who knows how this will better our nation as we turn 50

atta boy! let him, let pastor A tell it all. As long as he has told the nearer generation to keep away, why not, after all,  Who will be blushing?Would it be the men and women who are wholesomely married. As long as you are not 'stealing-to -do-it', you are very welcome. I have always admired the pastor, now my admiration soars.

If the church will teach me financial independence and how to cook 'oha ' soup, then why not. After this lecture I will go find me a nice man and get married straightaways. Man must practise wetin e learn.

churches did not preach against intercourse ,they have no right, but what they do preach against is illicit sex, that they, even you, have a right to preach against.

phemmy88:

The lyrics is really touching!

I sang this in school and fell in love deeply with every word. I become emotional anytime I sing it around the house and have my daughter singing it too. Those were the days when being a Nigerian counted for much and one got terribly insulted when asked if s/he were West Indian.
thanks phemmy and thank Olumogun for thread

also wake him at night between 12 to 2 am to go use the loo. Doing this regularly sensitizes him anytime he has an urge to relieve himself, he is awake. Find out about St John's Wort.

I love making and eating it. I guessed it is healthy and I am glad to know now. Thanks AdaMbaise.

Health / Re: Fibre Active Biscuits. by zenatta: 2:38am On Sep 07, 2010
bought a carton of fiber active about two weeks ago and today have just ten packs left.I am worried cos I know I have become addicted. I have a sneaky feeling this is going to be hard to stop. I eat about ten packs a day when I refuse to watch what I am eating. I have no business putting on the weight I have lost. just read about oyinda eating crayfish as snack. should I, shouldn't I ?

Cheese balls are still there, growing strong methinks, depends on where you buy them, made by planters
