Politics › Re: I Wish GEJ Runs For Presidency Come 2019 by zendy: 8:11am On Aug 27, 2015
EgusiSoup:
With the recent happenings in the New political dispensation one can only reflect and be sober for how my fellow Yoruba brothers betrayed the South to vote for another ex-General when we all thought we had passed that era.

Nigeria is at a standstill today, EFCC is just fighting corruption selectively on the pages of newspapers, Ministers have not been appointed to fast track laudable projects initiated by the past administration, all we see is Pictures, Pictures and more Pictures of the current President with Cows, and so on.

Indeed the Yoruba race have already realized their mistake and can't wait to correct it come 2019.

Please GEJ if you are reading this, have a re-think about 2019 and save us from the slow but steady conspiracy by the North to once again have Nigeria in her laps.

We are already tired!

#Wasted100days.

The batttle life will be draw between me and any APC e-diot that quotes me and spill trash.

I rest my case.

You have a point but until you realize that the political class are the new colonial masters, then your point will be complete.

I celebrated this last elections because for once, the people have proven a point that we have the power to change those at the helm of affairs in this country when determined.

Now, if PMB messes up, we can also vote him out and keep doing it till we get the right people.
well, as an Igbo man and proud Biafran, the above has nothing to do with me

So Nigeria is now your colonial master?

You guys have better drop that mentality and face your leaders instead.
Oh, so you don't know that Nigeria is a colonial master? You think that colonial masters are only white men from Europe? Nigeria is practicing internal colonialism. Why do you think Nigeria picks guns and starts shooting whenever Igbos decide to breakaway? Nigeria is an oppressive colonial state, it has always been that way. The only difference is that the colonial masters are no longer white men.

Since you guys have downgraded yourselves to a Nigeria colony, your colonial masters aren't keen on letting you guys go.

Same way the British weren't too keen on granting Nigeria independence.
Well if "Great Britain" could later bow and give Nigeria her independence, who is to say that Nigeria will not eventually bow and grant Igbos and Biafra their independence

Am sure almost ALL the tribes in Nigeria resent Igbos including their southern neighbors. This is a product of being nuisances all over the place. Making noise all over the place will make you look like a barking dog. How can you be interested in irrelevant dogs? huh? Even the efiks are most relevant than Igbos in Today's Nigeria.
This is good news! Hopefully, this means that everybody will support Biafra so that we Igbos can leave Nigeria finally !

nicerichard05:
This happened this morning around Apapa Area while descending towards leventis, the Nigerian military and other agency were trying to control the traffic on the bridge by giving way for smaller vehicle to go through when this Danfo driver came from nowhere and started obstructing traffic, leaving the queue that was created by the task force.

He was already causing traffic when we eventually allowed him to enter in front of us, A one military officer came and told him park and then roll on the floor from the bridge down to Area B police station. cheesy grin

The scene was such an entertaining one cos even his passengers said they told him to follow the queue peaceful but he refused.

I wish to use this medium to commend the Nigerian Military and the joint task force for the good work they are doing in other to ease traffic in Apapa

To all Danfo drivers please always respect your self, Obey traffic rules and stayy out of troubles.

Cc Lalasticlala
So you are congratulating the military on this barbaric act? You are not ashamed of your self?

You Igbos think its only you people that were forced into being under Nigeria... I will repeat again , the day Biafrans would have a just cause of secession, that day I will join the movement (even though am Yoruba )... Maybe the clamour for Biafra as being so popular because one of your own is no more the president ?
The just reason why Igbos want Biafra is because Nigeria is a British created fraud. Before the British came, Igbos were a loosely bound confederation of clans and villages and we administered our selves how we wanted. The British came, stole their sovereignty, and over night, the British forced the Igbos into a union they did not want. The Igbos fought the British back in the "Ekumeku war" but lost. We fought again to get out of Nigeria in the Biafran war but again lost. The next is war, if it comes to that, is going to be the last one because no sane person can expect the modern day Igbo to be part of Nigeria after killing them. You want a reason why Igbos should get Biafra? Who are you to demand a reason? It is the God given inalienable right of the Igbos to decide for themselves if they want to be Nigerians or not. It was an act of illegality for Lugard to come from Britain to make us Nigerians.

I wonder how some people will just be so foolish and gullible to hear what this kalu says' A man that sits enjoying wherever he is and come on air at his own time to spew rubbish... Upon all the things happening in this country is it to part away the best available option ... Ask an average Ebiafran' why he or she want biafra to go, he won't say anything reasonable. Am sure even your late warlord will even run in his grave if asked to fight for biafra again... Less I forget ojukwu lost d election in 2003, not even the vote of his Biafrans could make him win , some even refused to vote for him ... Please any true biafran should please check online or even read a book by chinuia abchebe 'there was a country' and ask yourself if truly u want another war, NoTE: a country like nigeria would never allow any part secede through paper work. NEVER... # saynoto sycophant seeking attentions
You're just a noise maker. If a person or people do not want to be with you, then you have no business being with them. You are asking the reasons why Biafra should go? Did you ask Lord Lugard why he made them Nigerians against their will?

Nigeria= "Unity by force"

Biafra= "Freedom by choice"

I am very ashamed to ask this question at these times seeing how the Ijaw has use the so called smart Igbos to play political chess cheaply.
A few months back many of my Igbo brothers were falling over themselves to promote Jonathan in the silly hope that Ijaws will support Igbos for President when the time comes. Now months after Jonathan lost no single Ijaw man has ever called for Igbo president inspire of all the massive support from Igbos.
My Igbo brothers, how market na?
Who cares about the Nigerian presidency? We Igbos have outgrown the office of president. Anyone agitating for Igbo presidency is only asking the Igbos to go backwards. What we are after now is Biafra. To stay in Nigeria and keep joining issues with Yorubas and Hausas is a waste of time.

What a harangue to come from one of the worthless and good-for-nothing living deads called Yeeboes!!!! Lmao!!!! 3rd class citizen!!!

One of the useless ingrates from the land of cursed and unrising sun; erosion bleeped up region.

We are still feeding your brothers and sisters in Odua Nation with our unlimited natural endowments which crude oil is 1% of.

You guys are the most unfortunate species on earth with limited resources that could hardly feed Imo state alone, over population to match up with Yorubas Nation but got bleeped up with land area less than Ogun state alone out of 6 states of Odua Nation, and this stupidity of your progenitors has resulted to you fools being available in every corners of Nigeria as 3rd class citizens.

In nutshell, your survival as a Nation depends on Niger-Delta; you guys would live the rest of your miserable lives at Niger-Delta mercy as a result of your no access to Ocean.

I m seriously dancing Etighi at your predicament. What unlucky animals!!! I can't wait to see you bunch of immigrants coming back to Odua Nation with your limited working visa to work as cooks, streets cleaners, gate man, drivers etc
When you have time or money, go and get a good map of Nigeria especially one that shows the water ways clearly. Take a good look at Oguta in Imo state and Abia state and you will see tributuaies running from those states directly into the Athlantic Ocean. You will see that international sea ports can be built there. Many Nigerians have this wrong impression that for a country to have access to the sea, a country must have a Coast line or be by the coast. Most sea ports are inland sea ports. Porthacourt is not by the sea, Apapa Whaf is not by the sea. What these two places have are just dredged waterways through which ocean line ships come in. In Igboland, we have the same water ways and Inland seaports can be built in Imo,Abia and even in Onitsha. Igbo land is not landlocked in anyway whatsoever!!!!

No sane person will think that biafra can ever rise out of the ashes of hell it was sent by the Nigeria Army almost half a century ago!

Even snowball has better chance in hell than your biafra of being revived alive. It is finished and completely and utterly eradicated. E finito!
I don't think you know that the Nigeria Army never wins a war without international support. The Nigerian Army only succeeded with in Biafra with British and Russian support, and that was after 3 years. The Nigerian Army could not defeat the Niger-Delta militants. The Nigerian Army that could not defeat Boko Haram. So how will your Nigerian Army fight the Igbo nation of over 35 Million people? What magic will they do to defeat Igbos? The only reason that Nigeria still stands is because Igbos, being a civilised people, have not yet taken up arms like the Niger-Delta militants or Boko-Haram. The day Igbos take up Arms, that is the day that Nigeria comes to an end. It is a forgone conclusion that Biafra will come, the question now is when it will come.

Ndigbo are nothing but glorified narcissists and bloody jokers. They've so fallen in love with their reflection that they can't see how delusional they are.
of course the fight for self determination by the Igbos will sound like a joke to somebody like you who has "slave mentality". That's how Lugard came to west Africa, beat up and gun down your fore-fathers into submission. Then he baptised them "Nigerians". Till today, you still wear that "slave name" with pride. Of course, how will someone like you ever understand that Igbos don't want that slave name? Colonial mentality is horrible .

I have no doubt that before the end of Buharis first term, we Igbos and some minorities in the South-South are gong to secede as Biafra. Yorubas and their Hausa compatriots can do whatever they like the office of the Nigerian presidency

Please listen to other people's perspective on that civil war. sad

Ojukwu did not contribute a penny to the drilling of oil in the Eastern region by Shell.

In fact, despite the existence of signed, sealed contracts between the Nigerian govt and Shell, he wanted to corner all the money from the oil fields for himself. That was when Gowon quickly instituted the police action against the Eastern region, hoping Ojukwu would have a re-think. undecided Instead he became recalcitrant.

Secondly, whose fault was it that Ojukwu did not strategise appropriately and lacked enough weapons to go to war? Was it the fault of the Nigerian govt that he declared war against? How many people go to war without counting the cost?? shocked How could he NOT have anticipated that there would be a blockade??! In war, you strategise and prepare for every eventuality. Does he think the Nigerian govt would have left the sea port open for him to receive arms and ammunition to defeat them? Compare what happened in Biafra with the Falklands war. There was also a blockade. undecided

Decree 8 was promulgated which gave Ojukwu more than 80% of what was agreed at Aburi but he turned it down! For goodness sake, if he had taken that option he would have prevented the carnage that occurred in Biafra, and lives that were lost would have been spared!! cry cry
I really hate it when people say "Ojukwu went to war" as if Ojukwu actually started the war. Ojukwu may have declared Biafra, but at no time did he declare war on any body. This write up of yours is just smacks of someone who is talking with the benefit of hindsight. If you were Ojukwu, I'm sure your thinking mode would be different after watching 50,000 Easterners massacred. Ojukwu did anticipate a 'possible' blockade, there is video of him on YouTube talking of this a few weeks before the war started in which he said that he hoped that Britain would remain neutral if hostilities broke out. Sometimes in life, we fight not because we are well prepared or in the best of shape. Sometimes we fight because the alternative to not fighting is slavery. Even Fidel Castro started his war against the Batista Government of Cuba with less than a hundred men. You said that Ojukwu got over 80% of what he asked for at Aburi, this is true. But what you have to ask your self is what was the immediate reason why Ojukwu declared Biafra when he could have done so much sooner? It was because Gowon broke the most important rule of the Aburi accord, that the four regions which made up Nigeria must be run as a confederation. The Aburi agreement clearly stated that Gowon could not make far reaching decisions on the future of Nigeria without the concurance of all 4 Governors. It should be noted that as at the time of the Aburi accord, three of four Governors were all senior to Gowon (Ojukwu, Adebayor and Ejoor were all senior to Gowon). The dismantling of the regions and the creation of states by Gowon without due process made a complete mockery of the Aburi agreement. It was the start of 'divide and rule' and Ojukwu was not going to accept it. The truth about all this is that the war was all about Oil, nothing more. It had nothing to do with the unity of Nigeria because I can assure you that if it had been the North that had Oil, they would have seceded long before Ojukwu did. We Igbos are proud of Ojukwu for fighting even in the face overwhelming odds and great loss. You can't put a price on freedom and dignity
