well said Ivvie, i really would not have been able to imagine the number of Nigerians( may be 70%) that would have flown out of their cars due to overspeeding and driving of cars that are over 15yrs old.

Burials are moments of grief and its completely different from a wedding or birthday celebration, so i see absolutely no reason why it should be ambiguous, it should be as simple as possible, but today its a joyful moment if there is little cash in the family- you see aswebi girls and what have you, in my opinion its shameful, if only the dead person sees how people celebrate his/her demise and get drunk in the process, no matter what the individual has achieved bottom line is the person is gone.

what exactly is your welfare? you love him or his money, you said you are staying with your brother so to a reasonable extent he (brother) should take care of your necessities. am not ruling out the role of boyfriend but i guess its secondary, may be he is saving for you peoples wedding or something, i guess the problem we are experiencing in our society these days : most young girls put parental roles on the shoulders of their boyfriends and when the guy isnt meeting up its an excuse for a breakup, talk more to your brother for assistance i guess in that way you earn more respect from your boyfriend.

to be serious with you, you need to print a few atleast, unless everyone coming are your age group, i guess our fathers would expect cards because i wonder how many of them have access to the internet, even if they do, the card thing will make more sense to them, you could be selective in your card distribution and use other means to get across to close friends and colleagues.
