Well, Nigeria is still better than Haiti. They will live a better life here if they wish to relocate |
It is bound to happen. Those category of people live on daily pay. They will be affected |
owobokiri:You are right. Many people, especially of the east are trying to justify this, but change the situation now, to say, a an Uzondima caught in this act, they must have sang Fulani unity beggar on five pages now. I hate hypocrisy |
Adabite:But please, can you really point out what is bad in government paying waec fees for students if it can afford it? That assuming his promise to pay such is the issue here. Again, assuming he said he will ensure no government pays such fees for students if he becomes president, what will your opinion be? |
Is it not better for some of the youtubers to just upload their videos without commentary? What sort annoying commentary is this? |
Joeblazeochola:And he went ahead to give Tunisia penalty and also Mali red card. He also prevented Tunisia from scoring the penalty. Maybe he fixed it with the tunisians |
Baawaa:is it that una no d read or what? Didn't you read where one of the teams refused to accept the fourth official from taking over the match? |

Great, let them be punished. |
Can he offer a credible opposition to APC in Lagos? If yes, then it is a welcome development. For long the opposition in Lagos State has not done much, they are always fighting themselves over selfish interests. In as much as Lagos has an average leadership performance compared to other states, strong opposition is needed for continuous improvement. |
Ekealterego:Or Chibuike Amechi? Many Delta and Rivers names sound like that |
Truthisunique:you only agreed with the guy you quoted. He has but he will not disclose now or never, only the body language will point to the person until he finally emerges as the party's candidate. |
gannod:You don't have any idea talking of leniency. People in the prison the guy lives wish to die. The prison is described as being buried alive. Read about Alcatraz or ADX Florence |
Jack005:This is quite harsh. The father committed no crime, neither did he terrorize anyone. If anything, the man was a very successful career person in the corporate world, a career many dream of is what he had. He was only trying to get his son a better life by sending him abroad for studies, which I am sure you and I will do given the opportunity. The son was radicalized without his knowledge. He is just speaking as a father ,his blood is involved, many parents will do. Again I don't blame you totally, his son gave the opportunity for you to drag the gentleman in the mud |
Olayetan:If I was part of the landlords, I will quickly collect the land if it is Ibeju Lekki. Once Dangote refinery starts operation, the value of that area will increase multiple times. It will surely overtake magodo in the nearest future |
BlackyOne:Well, it is your opinion. I am glad you understand the tyranny angle we were talking about. Again it is about our attitude as human beings especially Nigerians where we are highly sentimental about issues. Look at the cas of the CP who arrested the guards for wasting his time. Many people condemning Sanwo-Olu for his civil approach insulted the CP for abusing his powers. It is simply because of the general hatred for the police, not because they know the basics. That is how it is in every facets of our life in Nigeria. |
BlackyOne:What are you saying? Wike is not fighting any lawlessness, rather he is a tyrant on another level. Just that many of you are hypocritical and two faced to accept one form of tyranny as good and another as bad. Do you know how many people died in Obigbo? Who ordered the killings if not wike. Yet you comfortably condemn Sanwo-Olu on lekki while turning a blind eye to what happened in Rivers. Those hotels he demolished then, how lawful was it? If what you typed about being educated is what education is, then I am not educated |
do4luv14:Yes, I am just telling you the system we operate. It is not about me. It is the system which personally I don't like. The FG or powerful people above can use the police or the security architecture against any governor in a manner they wish if they mean to do so. It doesn't matter if you are wike or any governor. I have seen the worst under Obasanjo when Ngige was kidnapped for a whole week. There was a commissioner of police in the state, what did he do? Nothing. He simply followed orders from his superiors to stand down with his men. That is the system we operate, except the issue of state police materialize, we will continue to see this type of issues when high powered interests are at play |
He is useless. Who sang after ragae play the blues then? Where is he? His song was national anthem then, but no one hears of him today. Just one useless song and you are here vomiting nonsense |
do4luv14:you are forgetting that when push come to shove, the CSO tag is only on paper and not reality. You must be joking if you think the police commissioner reports directly to the governor, he does only on dotted line. When there are higher vested interests the line is completely broken. Ask Ngige who was kidnapped as a sitting governor under Obasanjo. Where was the police? |
BlackyOne:Stop saying what you don't know. The security architecture is vested in the FG. If the FG decide to be tyrannical to wike or any governor, there is nothing they can do. Will wike fight the entire police, military etc? I guess you were not of age when dictator Obasanjo orchestrated the kidnapp of Ngige who was a sitting governor then. We all condemn tyranny when it does not favour our alliance. You are hailing wike's tyranny now but I am sure you have condemn Buhari or others on the same situations |
Antoeni:So you are proud of this kind of approach. And I am sure you are one of the people calling buhari a dictator. Assuming you are the president, what will become of us |
Kriss216:Nigerians are heavily hypocritical and two faced. If he had ordered as Reno is saying, by now they will be insulting him of tyranny, how APC government is high handed, how Buhari is a dictator. The same people here comparing him with wike are the people calling wike a tyrant. I see absolutely nothing uncalled for in what transpired. The only mistake he made was to tell the officer to call, he should have called the I.G immediately. He respected the CSP but that doesn't mean he is weak. Respect to others is not weakness. Lagos CP arrested some guards days ago and we insulted the police to high heavens, saying he was abusing his power. The governor did the opposite and here we are again castigating him |
davodyguy:The north is politically smart hence they always try the dirty tricks. There are southerners that are well better than Jonathan, who himself was a colossal failure but the north will front him so that power can go back to them in the shortest time. Only the thought of Jonathan succeeding buhari alone is scary. How can failures be succeeding each other as if we don't have competent hands? |
Sarmiz24:Please you are still talking about people's personal houses and not community like setting. There hundreds if not thousands of houses in that estate with so many people living there. It doesn't fit the definition of private which I suppose you are trying to put across. Again, don't be emotional here, the statement by the estate leadership clearly insinuate the CP was to be hosted by a resident. However, the guards were not aware which to me is not a problem. The guards are there to thwart security threats to the residents, how is a CP who oversees the state security next to the governor a security threat? The residents will call the CP immediately in case of armed attack. The guards must have done something that a high ranking officer like that acted the way he did. Again in the same Yankee, police stop cars which are personal properties and search them randomly why flashing only their IDs. High speed chase is even common there, sometime resulting to death. We hate the police here, they are not innocent but majority of the citizens are not any better. |
Sarmiz24:Please can you define the private you imply here? Who owns that estate? I don't understand. If the CP was forcing his way to someone's house who did not invite him, I will understand the private you are talking about |
Islie:Well, estate gate is different from traffic. I doubt any of you saying this have gone to that estate. The entrance is automated and you cannot pass through without the security giving you access. There is road bar and then spikes that can destroy your tyres if you force entry without the use of the token in possession of the security. I doubt if the delay was up to 30 minutes though. Again, it should be noted that, the CP is the face of police image in any state, I highly doubt any act of irresponsibility where he is. This statement by the estate is not convincing either. In any case I feel the guards must have done something out of order to warrant what happened. |
yemi1504:yes, forgot he was there, good alternative |
yemi1504:You are correct. Infact I expected Sancho and cavani to be off at half time. Fernandez and rashford in |
bigpicture001:Your concept is good, however, her earning is too small to support it successfully. Maybe you should have left at at the 10k for the trust funny only |
Petervictor:Jones did well. The major problem was not starting Fernandez or VDB, at least one of them should have started. The midfield was not connected to the attack. Or Sancho sould have stayed on the for Bruno or Rasford started instead. Again in making subs, he decided to remove his best player, very shocking when he took off greenwood |
HedwigesMaduro:I think such rules, I don't like calling them laws because they are not, were made for securing the estate. Now, this is where I have an issue with the guards. In what way does a top security officer like the CP constitute a security threat to the residents? They were just overzealous and nothing more. Even if the CP wanted to just enter the estate and move around the environment without visiting anyone in particular, it was not their right to stop him. I know we hate the police but a CP does not deserve that kind of treatment |
