Truthisunique2:The joke is rather on you. Who told you a sister security agency can go to another's barracks to pick up a high ranking officer? They have standard procedures to that effect. And do you think any security agency in the world will just handover any of their officers, let alone a top ranking officer to another country on the basis of extradition on the platter? The way some of you reason is funny. There are procedures to be followed in such cases. The accusations will first be scrutinized, and the suspect subjected to internal disciplinary procedures under fair hearing. That is the process the police initiated and is on going. Even if the police doesn't want to hand him to FBI, they have a thousand and one way to that without dragging NDLEA into it. Once again I don't believe any conspiracy, the guy is implicated in another crime, let him face the music. It is your opinion that this is conspiracy, it is mine that this is not. There is freedom of information law in Nigeria, if they sentence him here and anyone wishes to know if he is in prison, he will do the needful. |
Truthisunique2:I still consider all these theories. Every criminal has a day they leave a very stupid trail behind with all their smartness. The best way to arrest a powerful dcp like Kyari is this public declaration. You want NDLEA to go pick a dcp like Kyari with his fully armed gang of rogues? You must be joking, you are looking for blood bath. Going to court for someone like him is another long thing, get your order and he gets his stay of execution the next minute. With this, the police are in spotlight to do the needful. By the way, if the police authority wanted to hand in over as FBI cover, why didn't they do that since the NDLEA has been following the standard protocol of writing to them severally? Of what interest is it waiting and dramatizing the handover? They could as well quietly hand him over and NDLEA come out to announce he is detained for drugs charges. All these drama is a further damage to the already batered image of the police, which I believe they would never have orchestrate a plan that will further cause damage to them. |
Truthisunique2:I still don't believe the time buying story. The guy has criminal tendencies for money, he is involved in this not because FBI has declared him wanted, it is just for enrichment criminally and the NDLEA has done a great job in nabbing him. NPF should release him. This new crime is even more serious than what the bribe taking FBI accused him of. |
airsaylongcome:Why do the merger thieving politicians chill in their mansions in this country while the chicken stealing people spend years in prison if they are not lucky enough to be linched? The answer you get is the answer to your question. |
Truthisunique2:Then the FBI is not serious, they should stop making noise if time can make them forget about people's crimes. They are just another useless organization, that is if what you are portraying here is true. |
airsaylongcome:Did they tell you they weren't. But if you believe Kyari took bribe from Huspuppi to arrest someone, what is making you not to believe he cannot do drugs? Don't choose to believe what suit your narrative, look at it with an open mind. Does arresting him locally for drugs cancels the extradition request? No. Does his antecedent show he is capable of doing what he is accused of by NDLEA? Yes. Will the NDLEA case help his FBI case in anyway? No, it will rather worsen it. So what is the point exactly trying to unnecessarily relate this to delay tactics? |
Truthisunique2:Kyari himself will be very foolish to reason this way. I believe he is much more intelligent than this, the more reason I will never agree with you. This is double Jeopardy for him and he knows. So after facing drug charges and serving punishment, the extradition will still be waiting for him, remember nobody is cancelling it because he involves himself in drugs. Infact if convicted of this, it will make his case even worse in USA as it will be used against him as a hardened criminal. This your theory is full of loopholes as you can see. Once anything done by the police as you are suggesting, don't cancel the extradition order, it absolute nonsense and very stupid of the person thinking he is buying time. He is rather buying more trouble |
Truthisunique2:So does all this cancel the extradition request? If kyari could be involved in international 419, what makes you think he is not genuinely involved in the drug case? Why must you think is a delay to extradition? Considering his antecedent, we know he is a corrupt cop and capable of what NDLEA is accusing him of. I don't agree with any conspiracy theory here. The man is accused of crime and the police should hand him over to face charges if indicted. It has nothing to do with FBI declaration, afterall it is not erasing any accusations by the FBI. |
Truthisunique2:Sometimes this your conspiracy theories make absolutely no sense. So if this is planned to stop him from extradition, why didn't they just announce they have arrested him rather all the drama of declaring wanted? For your information, even if the Nigerian government wants to handover kyari to America, it can take a very long time. He has the right to legally challenge that process and it can take years with our slow justice system, Moreso considering kyari has the money to spend too. The police should duely hand him over to answer the questions he has with NDLEA and this does not stop his extradition in any way. |
IGP should hand him over to answer all the questions. |
sslcrypt:Nothing personal here. Wishing you same. |
sslcrypt:Again, see the OP's response to someone below in the comment section of his thread. "Lol U can see one mu.mu id.iot above asking me if a dat cos of sex. Is obvious d boy is poor looking for rich old woman to date so he can have her moni. Apart from sex I wonder what else a man is doing with a girl. They normally can't offer u business ideas , link u to high paying jobs or tangible tinz other than sex. Then why not meet the one that can give u an enjoyable sex . Dey guy dey there dey reason like ode" See the person you are trying hard to defend on opinions. That was his response to someone's opinion. |
sslcrypt:A simple question and you went a full circle of rants. Who is the tyrant here? Me that ask a simple question or you that cannot tolerate a simple question? And did I stop him from making his opinion? His opinion is on a public forum and subject to criticism and scrutiny, I don't have to agree with him, same as him or anyone does not have to agree with me. It doesn't mean anybody is stopping anyone from their opinions. You must learn to engage in a civil manner. Otherwise I will believe the person that quoted you saying you are abroad but breeze never touch your brain. |
sslcrypt:what is the validation to OP's post considering your last paragraph? |
Escabado:You have your opinions but don't force it on any one. It doesn't mean yours or his is absolute right. People date or associate with women for different reasons. Yours as you put is sex. You are wondering what else apart from sex but in the same breath, you mentioned one yourself i.e him dating for money. So you see for yourself. It is a matter of interest and if someone's interest is not same as yours, it doesn't mean he is an Ode, or maybe you are an Ode too if we follow your definition of Ode here. Many people will tell you how women have helped them in connections, career and what have you. The world is big and doesn't revolve around you, so don't just sit and draw myopic conclusions in the name of whatever. |
CSTRR:So you are expecting something like, Vacancy for the position of commissioner for works in the national dailies with requirements attached? Then, you will be disappointed. Nothing like that will happen. Irrelevant offices may see such, but the key political appointments will never pass through that route. Infact, all the cabinet must have been arranged already with other key positions also done for. Most likely, it is the volunteer stuff that may suffice at last, even the vaguely described other roles in government may vanish. |
People misconstrued this on the other thread. They took it as advertisement for political vacancies such as commissioners etc. I just laugh at their ignorance. Carefully read through this press release, they are talking about volunteers and other roles in government. No mention of political appointment directly. What does that tell you? We all know what volunteering is, but can someone tell me what other role in government as used here means? It is vaguely put purposely for a reason. People will understand it later anyway. All the best to Soludo |
sweetkev:please can you enlighten me on your point? I don't think this has anything to do with subsidy removal. Have the filling stations increased price? The major challenge now is the withdrawal of the contaminated fuel. It is not going to be very easy and swift as it involves logistical nightmare. Once the bad fuel is removed and there is space to restock good one, normalcy will return. All this fuel subsidy removal through this means is a propaganda at best. |
DrGoodman:Did they plan to import contaminated fuel and start recalling it back? |
CSTRR:Most times, we think this politicians were picked from the gutter to come and rule. No, check their background, they are mostly very successful people in their endeavors elsewhere even before vying for political office. Politics however, is not like running a company, it is a different ball game which highlights why not everyone that was successful elsewhere succeeds in political leadership. A lot of morally bankrupt people in a society like Nigeria makes it very complex. A leader will have good intentions but his subordinates are already something else. The clerk in the government ministry has already made corruption his way of life, this continued at every level. It is a difficult task but let him just do his best |
BeeBeeOoh:This is where the headache will likely come from. Those party stakeholders who ensured this kind of landslide victory will definitely be disgruntled if their interest is not considered. In Nigerian politics, the bigger the victory, the bigger the vested interest |
kettykin:He has good intentions on this, however I fear for him. If the process does not incorporate the interest of party stake holders, then he will likely have a huge problem on his hands. He is approaching a political position from a civil service point of view which is not surprising because of where he is coming from. In any case, all the best to him |
balaket:What is exactly the influence of Timubu on national politics at the level of president of Nigeria? If you talk about followers, no single politician had that more than Buhari in the current democratic dispensation. Remember, Buhari was polling close to or over 9m votes each election before the merger. What was Tinubu's party numbers then? No where near that. Again, Obasanjo didn't win any state in southwest Nigeria that went to Falae, he was elected president at the end. The point is that, Tinubu's influence on Buhari becoming president is a bit exaggerated. Buhari s political base was far larger than Tinubu's at the merger |
ntyce:Give them the benefit of doubt. They are not everywhere, it is not as if their personnel were stationed there permanently. I think we should focus more on the irresponsible developer who deemed it fit to unlawfully break the seal. The government did her job by sealing it in the first place, why did he break in is the question. It is not every time we should be hanging citizens irresponsibility on neck of government. Haba |
ntyce:Salako stated that preliminary findings indicated that the site had been sealed-off twice LABSCA in 2021 for non-compliance with Building Regulations after which the site was abandoned. However, the developer later broke Government Seal, sneaked into the site and re-commenced construction without official authorisation. |
oilmane:True questions especially the last one. The answer is that, poor men don't have connections to stop government officials. So if it was a poor man, they would have demolished the building |
TOPCRUISE:No, they served a stop work order |
walemoney007:Truth of the matter is, sometimes the hands of these officials are tied . This rich people use backdoor connections against the officials. It is until something happens that everyone disappear in thin air and the truth starts coming out. This is not to say they are not complicit sometimes |
History555:in your bid to blindly condemn the good news, you didn't even read properly before rushing to keypad. The headline was never about the president of the Tiv youth association but the position of the association itself, which was clearly communicated by the vice president. "This will elicit accolades from the Vice President and the people of Benue who have continued to yearn for development”, Hon. Mike Msuaan stated" .That Ortom is a BIG failure is no news to some of us. How can criticizing the FG be your sole achievement? He never did anything tangible when he was in the rulling party, now he is worse off in PDP. We see projects from states with worse insecurity problem like Kaduna and even Borno which is the capital of insecurity in Nigeria. Ortom has simply failed and some of us knew it long ago. Thank goodness it is becoming obvious |
jaxxy:Didn't you see many protests at the height of it? |
ipain:The father especially should take the whole blame. Don't assume a kid on sick bed cannot lie. His condition as stated in this report by experts can result to disorientation, hallucinations etc. On that basis, he can be speaking nonsense. The most logical thing was to hospitalize the boy here in Lagos, but again it looks like the whole thing worsen when they got to warri and the boy was not given proper treatment. |
Very detailed report. It is good to always have a clearer picture of situations before over reacting. The parents should count their loss and move on. They cannot win this case, not because there is a gang up against them but because the facts are not in their favor. Even a Falana cannot successfully prosecute this case. Everyone should forget emotions and move on. |
