Consequence: Alamieyeseigha can now contest elections (he is no longer an ex-convict).

maj007: It's a pitty I was among those that thumb printed this administration into power. What a regretful decision by some of us.

They can as well alter our constitution to legalise corruption.

I hope they did not forget to include BODE GEORGE.

RASCALSSSSSSS.

How do you mean they did not forget Bode George? Haven't you read on this thread that the attorney general said Bode was tried in error? Meaning...? Well, your guess is as good as mine.

Monimatic:

Our source revealed to us that the Council of State, which is comprised of the President, Vice President, all state governors, former Presidents, the Chief Justice of the Federation, the Senate President and Speaker, amongst others, unanimously approved the list of those pardoned today.

http://www.naijapundit.com/news/breaking-news-council-of-state-grants-diya-bulama-yar-adua-pardon
NaijaPundit and controversy! Only three former heads of state attended the meeting while others abstained? Not all governors were present either.
http://premiumtimesng.com/news/124341-jonathan-pardons-ex-convicts-alamieyeisegha-bulama-others.html

Its possible Buhari and some governors who weren't in attendance come out to denounce their involvement in the whole shenanigans. Saying that they all unanimously agreed when not all were in attendance leaves room for controversy!

Prof Corruption: This is a classic case of something being unthinkable does not mean it's impossible. Alams!!! Alamco is now a clean man.
GEJ should just open kirikiri maximum prison's gate since he doesn't give a damn. He is just a bloody criminal.

Your User Name alone makes me laugh, seen your Post, I just dropped from my Sit to the floor in laughter grin

Alamieyeseigha was considered because apart from serving his sentence he has devoted his life to travelling amongst Niger Delta communities facilitating the peace.

Moral of this F*CKED UP story: Be good to your subordinates and deputies.. You don't know when they'll become the boss of all bosses..undecided

Yes, he is. GEJ knew it would raise a lot of dust if alamase alone was pardoned. I won't be surprised if alamase starts vying for a senatorial position in the next election. Must we re-cycle clueless and shameless leaders?
Tolexander: Alamieshegha is the main target! All other guys were just lucky to be auxiliary.

In the name of fairness and equity, GEJ must also give James Ibori state pardon as soon as he finishes jail term in UK.

Though I'm not in support of that decision by the 'Council of State', not 'GEJ' unilaterally (as many of you have alleged), but all of you that are abusing and cursing our Country's Number citizen with reckless abandon for this outcome, be sincere to yourselves, were you in his (GEJ's) shoes, where your former boss is involved, WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN YOUR POSITION when that matter came up?
Just asking a question-o witout calling anybody any name-o !
