i was an expert on that, writing for many of my friends tto to give their girls.
it was fun but now the technology breakthrough turned that fun into sms and e mails.

i loved/still love them.
i remember how i used to store them specially and read them to make me feel real good.
i used to laugh over the really silly ones with my friends. especially from boys i dont fancy at all.
oh those days were really fun! ***sighs deeply***

I used to have a girlfriend that is a love-letter specialist. She even draws things like heart-shape whole or pierced by an arrow in her letters and she paints it with a crayon too.

It was fun then. My boyfriend writes me often then and I used to sleep off with his letters on my chest.

OOH good old days! i remember in my 200level in the university (2001) then GSM has'nt come to Owerri where i was schooling .My first Luv then jxt finished his NYSC and had gone to Lagos to look for greener pastures!The distance created was made up for with his luv letters ! i remember one famous one that goes like this" My darling Ugo, how goes the JUNKY ,FUNKY,PUNKY day!,
Filled with nostalgia indeed!!!!

to write a love letter is not bad but is good for people that can not confront there babe or guy

I was very good at it those days i even got my MSc in Love letter before SSCE.

Hmm, i never got to write one. Ladies usually showed one another, so i was scared stiff that they would show my letters and make me their subject of discussion. i was so shy but i couldnt stand ridicule. So inever aloowed the thought of a letter. Ah, that will be an evidence of my toasting her and she would be able to say she " Nailed" me.

[tr]UHm, actually writing love letters those were fascinating and most times get your grooves on, i started writing love letter way back my pry 4 and i just kept on enjoying the fun as i would also write for my friends, In my days i wrote like i ould be presented an award and most ladies i gave these letters love them and they wanted to talk about the lettee each time we met, I still have letters of my ex(es) and Cards too, i appreciate them as give or something[/tr],

I don't know how to approach this with you in person, every day I fight a battle with myself my heart says I should tell you how I feel, but my head tells me not to be stupid that it would just cause damage to our friendship and that you wouldn't be interested.
I know that there is probably very little I can say to change your mind either way; I am not totally discounting the possibility that the way I feel about you could be reciprocated, but as I have very little luck in this area in the past my hopes are fairly small.
I wanted to put into words my feelings in the hopes that although you may never see the words in writing or even hear them from my lips that you would still know that I care deeply for you, I feel that given the chance this could turn into more, but I guess that will depend on you and how you feel about me.
I can't pinpoint what exactly it is that makes me feel that you do have some feelings towards me. Maybe it's due to the way that when I talk to you, how you nearly always look me in the eyes; so few people do that.
I wish I could vocalize my feelings to you but my fear prohibits me so much I think that by the time I finally gain the courage, that you will be with someone else. My biggest fear is that I would tell you and I would see a look of fear or horror on your face that would break me.
I wish I could tell you how every time you are not around I fear that I will never see you again or that you will get into trouble with people; I just want to protect you so much.
I see you sometimes and you look down even though you may pretend otherwise. I wish you would open up to me and let me in to your life. I know it wouldn't be easy but I still believe that I could be good for you, if only you could return my feelings. I know I may not be the best looking man, you know, and I don't have much to offer financially, all I could offer you is my heart and soul.
I fear that this will not turn out the way I hope but I pray that it does. As I said before, you may never know the true extent of my feelings although I would imagine you have some suspicions.
This may be a crush or infatuation but I swear to you that it does not feel like it, as I have had crushes before but never really felt the kinds of emotions I do for you.
I hope that if I can muster the courage to tell you how I feel, that whatever your feelings, it will turn out okay and that at the very least we can be good friends, but I long for so much more.

I enjoy writing love letter, while i was @ the NYSC i had a girl, she initiated me into it, she made me love it, infact i still have those letters with me.
It a meance or tool u can express urself with esp. those things u can't say coz of tym or the situation, when u write u think clearler, and u express urself better, i think youths of thisdays should take the advantage of the power in it and use it for there unselfish needs.

Sending Love Letters is outdated - i know
