You can check my posts oga. The only post I made on this thread is this one you quoted. I don't believe the figures put up there so I choose not to comment cos it may be true or not. But from the days of Jonathan people have always at anything without confirming it or not. And brother don't expect it to stop any time soon.

If this will cost Nigeria so much, why don't they just SKYPE or buhari use mtn to call him instead of spending this huge amount of money on another fruitless journey

Only $10 million? This is a cheap trip by GEJ standard.

When we can carry $9 million cash to go and buy weapons in SA.

I don't think FG will bank roll the governors n their aids expenses n secondly PMB will be staying in the guest house of the president of America which saves us accommodation monies. A travel expense of $8 million, a delegation of 300 people (what room in the white house will accommodate them?) this report is a little too bogus abeg.

This is pure propaganda.
The Presidency announced 32 delegates fo
4 days trip now this news with 10/15 (the news was not even consistent with the number) aids.
Buhari will be hosted by Obama for the 4 days trip and there's no such thing as hotel, transport or eating expenses.
So they should give us how they arrived at this ludicrous figure

The cost of running a government is usually high. They could not have trekked to America.

The sad truth is that the APC always criticise stuff like this in the past.

Governance is not cheap.

Who am I to trust? The children of hate, who lacks moral or the incorruptible Buhari? I'll rather go with the later. I trust PMB to do what's wright!

Verdict: This is the biggest bollocks in history since the inception of dailymail!!! Why say such considering buhari's frugal way of minimizing cost. No matter how it might sound, some sensible nigerians will doubt this.. It's either this is a conspiracy OR just Shiiiit. Travelling with over 100persons to see a black man like himself, he for kuku go with everybody for abuja nah.. Me as a person doubt this write up from the OP's view and from Dailymail..
Who knows maybe this is written out of desperation to enter front-page

we nigerians are the cause of our problems...unneccessary sentiments...no common sense for judgement...it pains me when we nigerians criticise what we dont understand....his entourage is not up to dat amount....dis post is misleading.i believe buhari is sensible enough unlike goodluck jonathan that his entourage was made up to about 200 plus during one of his high profile meeting to china....so we should all see some good in every situation.God blesss nigerian.

you claim that it is a 32-man delegates with an average of 10 unannounced aides and then you round up to 229 calling it the largest entourage Nigerian democratic history when I can remember vividly that gej once travelled to isreal on pilgrimage with 600 delegates.....
This is not even as ridiculous as the #2.2 billion figure, haba na there he wan spend the entire 4-years

My brother, that was pilgrimage and they individually paid for the trip.

This is the type of attitude that has produced dictators!
Being a PMB supporter doesn't mean you shouldn't criticize him.
Bros as for me I would criticise him if he errs. But this article is based on foolish assumption. That each of the delegate would travel with an average of 10 aides.. The writer can't do simple arithmetic. If 32 people be travelling with an average of 10 aides, it means they would travel with 10 * 32 which would give 320 aides. If that is the case, the number of people that would be travelling would be 32 delegates plus 320 aide which would be 352 people. How did he arrive at 229 people? This shows he just sat some where and cook figure, because he knows majority of Nigerians lack verbal reasoning and numerical skills. If Buhari travels, the exact number of People, would be known.
