It's difficult for a man to operate beyond his education, exposure and intelligence. I am not one bit disappointed with our President's attitude to things and people. I am not nearly disappointed. It's not just him but about almost all our rulers. The day we begin to get leaders in Nigeria, we will be better for it. I just know that one day, one day something will happen & it won't be long.
It doesn't matter who is appointed, they still end up lining their pockets at the expense of their people. Whether you are Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Nigerian Delta, South South, we are being shortchanged by our rulers. Nigeria's problem is leadership. Pray for leaders.

So, na only Igbos deserve the "choicy" appointments ba? Based on how much you campaigned and voted for him in the past elections abi? Puleeese. Get a grip on urself mate.

Bringing up issues of campaigning and voting only solidifies the victimization ish. This is a democracy for Christ's sake.
And about the 'choicy appointments'..... Federal character should come into play...what is good for the goose is also good for the gander. The resources that is been used to run our great country doesn't come from one section of the country alone.

I am an Igbo man and I supported Buhari over Jonathan because I sincerely believed that the Jonathan government was doing more harm than good to this country. However, I cringed when I watched the interview where Buhari essentially stated that he will not be fair to a region that that gave him 5% of the vote. My respect for him instantly evaporated and he validated the ethnocentric labels that were placed on him before the elections with that singular comment. I no longer wish him success. In fact, I hope he fails. He is less intelligent than I thought.

STANDING OVATION MY BROTHER. This is just the gospel truth and they can read it and weep if they want to. I am from Anambra and I'm just filled with disgust the level the SE has degenerated themselves to simply because their candidate lost out in the election. Instead of being wise like we always claimed to be and start mending broken fences, we now choose to be a bunch of sore losers, always looking for errors in whatever the President does. As for me, thank God say my house dey badagry, the day una carry una Biafra for head take up arms, I go jejely carry my small load cross border enter Cotonou until una finish una craze. I refuse to allow a single strand of my hair be hurt on the account of the folly of some people drunk on nkwobi and isi ewu and palm wine.

I'm really excited someone from the SE see things from a different viewpoint. I have many Igbo friends who hate the disintegration idea, as well as some who want it. Those who crave it do not realize there is a price to to pay. Well established Igbos in other parts of Nigeria may be indifferent about this. Why? Because they have things more valuable to protect than bitterness and hard heartedness.

With all due respect, my level of admiration for most Igbos has reduced. Imagine being controlled and manipulated by one bean-headed serpent abroad. If indeed the struggle is genuine, why is he broadcasting from a foreign soil? I just pray that my Igbo cousins wise-up and realize that what is in play just the dream of one selfish I.diot who is after Government contracts.

Are you comfirming that the yorubas are that thing that start from cowa-r-d and that they are afraid to talk during Joe's time. You want the igbos to toll thesame line of cowardice. If igbos looses out from his appointment, thats ok. They never voted him after all. Check out what buhari is presently doing. Removing yorubas to be replaced with an hausa man. Check out that trend. Adeshina and co and just appointed to praise and defend his illiteracy. Mention what single post your people have gotten. You people are like people who are oppressed and still praises your oppressor unlike the igbos who will hold firm on their believe. Your lagoon got cursed on the day your oba threathened the igbos. Scientific research recently conducted shows that lagoon fishes etc are unfit for human consumption. Chemicals found in them are so high that it can damage the kidney, liver etc.
No brainer Lagooner! Your wailling continues. Yorubas won't pull out of any contest but defeat you in the game. The bitterness of losing with GEJ is still very much infesting you guys. Yorubas will never reward failure like you celebrated that thief called GEJ.

Can you sincerely say there was no good federal appointment given to somebody from SW in GEJ administration?
I dont think appointment was the reason they voted for him. even at the level of appointment, there was no special apointment aside spokes men. For recored purposes, Federal university of Oye Ekiti was the only project in the SW all through his tenure while we both know that it was shared evenly among the zones, so it wasnt a special project.

I'm Igbo. I voted PMB. I rep PMB. but if PMB will wait for only the constitutionally mandated appointments to have Igbos in his cabinet then I do not see any reason to thank him. I don't even see the reason to thank him if he chooses an Igbo man simply because the man is Igbo. I will thank PMB if he takes special interests in the peculiar problems of the SE.

It doesn't matter one way or another if he does or doesn't appoint Igbos. We will survive. Truth still remains that he was the best choice to make in the last election.

Come to think of it, in the 2015 Presidential election, the number of registered voters was 70,383,427. This means that having won with 15 million votes, less than 20% of the registered voters actually wanted Buhari to be President and over 12 million wanted Jonathan to return, while over 140 million Nigerians never voted at all,

Where is this guy plucking his numbers from by this analysis Nigeria has over 160 million citizens of voting age

You're not one to make us have a rethink into joining Biafra. What impact has Biafra had on its own soil that is worthy of note and mention? Biafra is promising, yet desperate Igbo youths are either sentenced to death in China, Singapore or Malaysia over drug peddling offences. Is it not rather ironic?

Last I checked, Biafra is a dream specially crafted for the Igbos and those who buy into the dream. A son of the SS hanged on to power for 6 years yet could not transform the region. It is not the FG's problem. A son of the land misrepresented us even at the Federal level and then we blame Nigeria as a whole? Heads of militant groups enrich themselves with the people's supposed compensation and we blame the government? Hell no! We're responsible for our mishaps. This is a problem of mismanagement and not even Biafra can fix this!

Same old shiiit, just a different day.

He doesn't appoint they go - ahhh, he's tribalistic.

He does appoint, the go - ahhh, he thinks he can placate the SE with his useless appointments.

There is just one factor here which remains a sticking point in these guys' minds- a Northerner being the President- simple. Absolutely nothing they wouldn't grumble about. Even before a single appointment was made they had already started wailing.

And to those ethnic bigots that keep mentioning my moniker in useless threads trying to squeeze comments out of me with their "he's an ab¤ki hiding under an igbo moniker", let me do this once and for all with the hope it cures your malaria.

Omenka is my name. I'm am not and have never pretended to be igbo. If igbos happen to share some names in common with my tribe, that is their fvcking business not mine. My dad's from the Middle belt, my mom South South, my step grand dad South East, meaning I have numerous uncles, aunts and cousins from the SE. I don't even as much as have a friend who's Hausa, Fulani or a Muslim.

Had to say this because all those tantrums of yours are becoming really irritating.

If you think I'm going to support a politician simply for reason of their ethnic background, you got another thing coming. And if you think your blackmails can stop me from supporting President Mohamadu Buhari (GCFR), then you are more foolish than I imagined.

I am not going to respond to idiotic quotes, responses or mentions from anyone.

Good morning.

Now I think I understand your predicaments. You are neither here nor there. A typical Hausa/ Fulani slave..I wonder why you find it difficult to see sense in the OP' writeup if your are not a Slave I labelled you. Why will a President make that kind of a silly statement in this age,? Democracy is government for the people and not for the ones who voted for a particular person.
If the North and the other region felt they can't put up with the Igbo's and the people of SS, they should let them go for God sake.

I am tired of this sentimental and parasitic politics in Nija abeg.

Nairaland owners should be greatful to igbos, any thread with igbo name/affair generate so much trafic on NL and this goes a long way to define our population(not the frudulent nigeria figures). Gradualy many igbos that even loved PMB are now hating him and you know what that mean?PMB pls don't appoint any igbo even in you ministerial position...we are gradually geting there...every day,Daniel kanu and Radio biafra are gaining converts and the hate for nigeria is fast increasing(ask about what happend in ariaria aba between police and aba citizens recently)it will get to a point when Rochas, ogbonaya onu, ngige and even amechi and co will realise how irrelavant they are in PMB government of the north by the north and for the north..BUHARI pls do not appoint any IGBO in your govt,Don't trust igbos too,let the heat continue.

common! let's give this man a chance na.......there are laws and constitution guiding all the processes.. PMB knows what he's doing.. there r still lotta appointments...its just that the majority of the people he trust at this moment are the people around him( his immediate environment which are the APC loyalist ). and as it stands now, 90 percent of northerners support APC...the appointments will still reach every section of the country. he'll give people from other regions responsibilities once he know they are loyal and I believe he tried choosing majority from these regions as his proposed ministers which were later screened out. hundreds of appointments r still yet to be made.. I think he's just taking his time to get people who won't betray him and deliver well also.......we are one!!

Why are you begging them?, we ordinary citizens are enjoying the emotional trauma emanating from that side.
Most of the people who voted for GMB including my very self who just want a better country are not complaining.
So those who rejected GMB are expecting every appointment in this government to be handed over to them on a platter of cry cry?.
