PMB doesn't like that woman at all, he has threatened to sack her once for advising him not to sign a document with Saudi which the minister thinks not in best interest of Nigeria.

In case people don't see what's wrong here because to you,it's just a piece of scarf.Well it's not.

The black robes and red scarf Qatari officials have on them are the customary cultural wears in Qatar same way the hijab and any covering for the head is customary and cultural for the women.

Imagine your Minister of Works,Power and Housing,Babatude Fashole forced to wear the black robes and red scarf to please Qatari officials before signing some agreement on behalf of the country.Wouldn't you consider it an insult?

It is insulting in every regard.
Could u pls tell how dis will affect d price o dollar?

Firstly, this act shows low self respect on her part. secondly, it's potrays Nigeria as a second class Nation. finally it's show the kind of leadership we have. A federal minister that can not hold her own in a gathering like this probably because her principal is an authoritarian like that.
Wow...
Just from one pic of covering her hair (probably out of her own volition), you conclude that she has low self respect?
2. Yes, Nigeria is a second class nation. The truth is Qatar doesn't need Nigeria for them to prosper. We're the one going to them for assistance. Do you even know how much they have in their reserve? Compare that with ours.
3. How did you know she can't hold her own in a gathering like this? Don't make me choke on laughter by saying it is because she's covering her hair.

I should be the one asking you if you reason at all. Even though i supported the emergence of this administration, I've been a critic of its activities. Rather, I'll not be like you that thinks everything Buhari does should be criticized. Even non issues like covering of hair by Adeosun is a source of criticism for you. Is that what opposition politics entails for you?

Well, buhari will not mind afteral, he already told the world what he thinks about his people. He watches the minister practice the sharian style. If yunusa, last year, can abduct/stole a 13year old child in bayelsa to kano got her married to yunusa without the consent of her parents. The story is that the child is being kept in the palace of emir of kano. The annoying one there is the galadima or who is he and also the emir of kano is saying that the child is married and converted a muslim already assuch she is no longer the child of her parents. Now, they are giving condition before the child will be released which is, the child must not be beaten, must not be converted to a christian and others. The emir, said he has given instructions for the childs release, yet, the child's parent went back to bayelsa without their toddler daughter. This is not the first time is happening in bayelsa, they said. This story is in punch as #freeEse. People are calling fayose a madman for saying Nigeria is matchiing fast to becoming an islamic state.

As a minister in the Federal Cabinet of Nigeria signing a bilateral agreement on behalf of Nigeria in Qatar, tradition demands that She(Kemi Adeosun) is accorded the same respect as the President as her presence carries as much authority with the President.

Under no circumstances should a person of her capacity be subjected to conform to the cultural/religious practice of the host country.

Kemi Adeosun is a Nigerian Minister visiting Qatar, she is a foreigner, therefore she is not bound by Qatari laws or culture which can't be enforced on her.

It is utmost disrespect for her person and Nigeria as a nation to see her subjected to covering her hair to please Qatari officials. This attempt of cowardice to Qatari Islamic custom denigrates the office of the Minister of Finance and totally against Global Practice.

Madam Kemi Adeosun, next time you find yourself in an Arab nation, refuse vehemently to cover your hair, their laws are not binding on you.You are their visitor and your person must be respected.

She is an Adult, she made her choice. Shikena

I don't think we should allow these people from the land where they worship money to distract us from what is important.

I am rather interested in what was contained in the agreement she signed and how it will benefit the ordinary Nigerian on the streets.

whether she covers her hair or not does not take away the fact that she is a smart, intelligent and beautiful lady working to restore our economy from the shambles it was left in by madam puffpuff cheeks and coordinating minister of corruption.

When you are in Rome, you behave like the Romans, likewise when you are in an Arab country, We are the one asking them for favour, not them grin So you have to show some loyalty even if it means wearing a hijab. The most important thing is get what you want first. America is not begging them for anything!

What if she decided to wear that scarf willingly? Or did anyone tell you she was forced to wear it?
She is a woman doing all things legally possible to get the job done... Or don't you know Nigeria literally went to Qatar to beg!
OK, so you want her to be arrogant in the situation we are, so that tomorrow ur clique can say she's not diplomatic enough to respect their culture that's why we lost the deal.

In some centuries time, if PDP manages to win election, you fellas can wear bumpshort to Qatar to beg for assistance.

how does the ministers own personal insecurity translate to Arab intimidation?
How come the other women in the picture were all not subjected to the same 'intimidation'.
Anyone can say anything on social media, but for the sake of self respect, let's not trivialise certain issues.
Ms.Kemi Adeosun could also argue that she was only 'acting like the romans in Rome'.

This is weeping more than the bereaved, there's no victimization in putting on a scarf. You definitely have not seen or experienced victimization. The woman is having fun flowing along and signing bilateral agreements for her country, something beyond her wildest dreams a year ago. You're here talking bollocks.
