The colonel boys were still angry with the kind of humiliation their boss passed through in the hand of Gov Fashola. The Colonel was highly humiliated with the kind of treatment he received from d governor. It wl be in the interest of the Governor and the Lastma official to urgently hold an important meeting with the army to avoid unnecessary bloodshed.

in what way are those men obese?

make your point without calling people names, so you dont look like you were raised by a mountain gorilla.

because they're not skinny like buhari [whose own stature is genetic] that means they're obese? ?

or is it because they're not displaying six pack that's making you tag them as obese?

Is that how servicemen from other countries look?

You just go about arguing like you've got a screw loose up there.. undecided

Who are those fat men protecting, anyway? grin

^^sweetie, there's a difference between a recruit and a general.

kapish?

recruit = newly recruited into boot camp.

general= not a rookie.

It hurts to read some comments...if a military govt. (idiagbon for example) were in place...and a civilian took d brt lane (even an ambulance) .. Do u think d military administrator wud sit cool and allow dem go?? Why r people angry abt what fashola did...hey...der r levels in life wen u need not fear anybody...as for me...an ordinary graduate..av decided neva in my life to fear a police man...d same way fashola...an accomplishd lawyer and governor, in who d people entrusted their votes may have decided never to fear d army anylonger..what is worth living for is worth dying for.

Now, d ball is in d hands of d retardeen..GEJ..to call d boyz to order...dats all i will say

This calls for nothing short of dismissal or serious disciplinary actions of officers involved if required, and I advice Fashola to get the C in C involved if necessary. We are not in a freaking military regime and these boys need to get in line and know their place. What utter rubbish. The more we indulge this nonsense the bolder they become. Decades of military dictatorship is part of what has emboldened these characters.

Biggysmalls919: Fashola should give a statewide broadcast to warn these soldiers and their big headed superiors

I agree with this wholeheartedly. It is time to get the public on his side and let the military know collectively as a people that we are not in a dictatorship and as citizens of the country that pays their salary, they are not above the law. What utter rubbish. Spoilt brats!
This is not something you back down on because you send the wrong message. Other state governors that have to deal with this rubbish in their states should also get on board. Everybody warn the military.

the media should just put a lid on their sensational reporting.

no need to blow things out of proportion.

So in essence, you support the colonel right? It is so unfortunate everything works in the wrong direction in Nigeria. How dare a military man break rules and you have the guts to say he should be addressed privately? What makes him different from the civilian? Please, stop reasoning as though they were forced into the military and besides, they are paid their salaries aren't they? For the ones who feel they are above the law, they can go ahead to resign as many people are willing to step into their shoes to serve after all, most of them get into the NDA and DSS through backdoor connections.
jjust shut up if u don't have anything meaningful 2 contribute. Wat makes d military man different from a civilian!! Do u ask urself this same question wen bombs go off in various parts of the country and these gallant men have 2 sacrifice their lives just 2 save moronic idiots like u!
