You may want to send both certs (mba+bsc). For law degrees forget urlaw school cert for now. Although you'll require it for licensing o.

Yes I did, all lawyers did and will unless WES repents and starts assessing Law degrees from Nigeria correctly.

I just ran u thru the process. IQAS will evaluate her LLB as a first professional degree in law. Beht u can try WES if u hv excess money.
IQAS takes 10working days at most.

You can put it in a separate envelope and send to ur school sso that they can send it together to IQAS. You'll need a copy of ur. Intl passport too. In my case I filled the forms, scanned them with my cert and int'l passport and sent to my faculty officer and they sent it to iQAS. Make sure u fill ur own side of the form and they fill theirs.

NB: A form wil be sent to you by email after Registration. Print it. Also print the transcript request form and send to them. Then a copy of ur degree and int'l passport.

Yes you can at d end of your registration you'll be asked about the mode of payment. Pls choose credit card as it is te fastest. Follow d prompt and pay.

I want my wife to be the principal applicant for reasons of age but i have 3 questions i need help on.
1-She is a lawyer who was called to bar a year ago but before her call to bar she worked with a law firm during holidays full time when she was in school doing law related jobs.Also between graduation and law school she worked with the firm for abt 9 months. If i add all this up it sums up to 3 years but only 1 year (nysc) post call but all law related.Her office is ready to write a letter to support this. Can we use this as 3 years experience as a lawyer?

Pls choose IQAS to avoid stories that touch.
Work experience is in d NOC field ur claiming points for and it's has to be post qualification. So in wifey's situation it's one year. But you can still seek a 2nd opinion on this and also read the CIC website to find out more.
Again on a second thought did your wife go to law school immediately? If u claim work experience for the law school year then you cant say she was in law school that year when u get ITA(on d. Personal history form) coz it'll be contradictory. Calculate how many years she has from uni degree till now. Leave out lawschool. Lets know what d years come up to.

Nothing is really ever an open and shut case.

IQAS without a shred of doubt but I tink you have to send them ur bachelor's degree too coz I think they look at d cumulative length of study. Also u can use d WES equivalency tool for ur masters degree let's see what comes up. But if you are thinking of sending both degrees and u hv speed in mind....IQAS is damn fast.

Hi iphie25, congrats. Nice one from IQAS. And I just paid for WES for my wife, although she is not a lawyer. But her degree was 5 years too, in agric. And that qualifies her as a professional animal scientist which is her major, cos she has the animal scientist cert too. Maybe we should have gone the IQAS way, mayb IQAS will evaluate it as FPD needed to practice as an Animal Scientist. but let's see what WES comes up with.

Well...each Lawyer charges what he thinks his or her practice is worth...so I can't really say.

Well a deed isn't the same as an affidavit...but you can add an affidavit as a supporting doc.
Pls make sure the affidavit is notarised or stamped by a commissioner of oaths. Although I imagine that the stamp of a Notary public should carry more weight in situations like this.

LoL a. Deed of gift is one of the easiest things a Barrister can do for you. Just make sure you supply all necessary info and review the document when it's ready before you append your signature and those of ur witnesses.
However the cost may not be "easy"

Ok...I suggest u send. Them a mail. Google IQAS or government of Alberta's website. You'll find them.

Thanks for the encouragement to review my ECA with Wes,I'm glad to inform you that a review has been made and my diploma is now included in the Canadian equivalent summary.it States Diploma(two years) and bachelors ( four year) and that will increase my score now.

My friend that works with my school said they have replied one of my friends confirmation letter from Wes since last month.,and that my friend claims that Wes said they haven't gotten any mail. We just re sent another confirmation today. I don't think I want to go through that stress of Wes. I'm doing IQAS for sure. Pls how long does it take IQAS to evaluate ones result. What and what do we need to send, is it certificates or transcripts and how much do they charge.... Congrats oo. D packaging looks so beautiful. Lol

sorry for the late reply. it took IQAS 7working days to finish my assessment. you need to download the form they send to u and fill, there's one for your school too, you fill the upper part and send it to ur school, they'll fill in the rest. then you need a clear copy of your degree and int'l passport shikena! fee is cheaper than WES, its 275 CAD and they are fast ehnnn!

Ok finally I'm here to say WES is a MESS and HIGHLY OVERRATED!

You are not meant to do that. However, I did that when I wanted to decline my 1st ITA. As I was not sure the ITA score will be as low as my CRS score, I had to keep 2 profiles at the same time. I deleted the old profile after I had got the new ITA.

Please note, you will have to use a different email address for the new profile.

I have been thinking about it since you posted that your IQAS evaluation is done. As your new ECA date is post ITA, It might be seen as if you did not meet the required CRS score at the time you got the ITA. Therefore, I think you should decline your current ITA. Since you have a very high CRS score, there is a high likelihood that you will get ITA in the next 1-2 draws.

Another way of going about it is to create another profile today with your IQAS details as there might be another draw this week.

Guys, pls I need help with this...

My IQAS ECA is due in Nig on friday(at the latest), remember I still have a confusing WES ECA with which I got an ITA in April by selecting my degree as a First PD. Now my wahala is can I substitute IQAS for WES in the e-APR or should I decline the ITA and wait for a fresh ITA bearing in mind that my IQAS ECA's date is May 13 a month after ITA. What do u guys advice? Your replies will be appreciated.
