I don't really get you argument. So, the post graduates in Enugu campus are office cleaners or what My dear, there are post graduates students in UNEC, and most of the lecturers who handled them as under graduates also take them in their PG studies. So these lecturers in UNEC should run to and fro, UNN for PG and then back to UNEC for under graduates

'Centre of Excellence' is just a name for the building, just like we have 'Abuja' for Business Administration students, White House under Law, in UNEC. 'Carva bulding' (am not sure I got the speling right) for physics and astronomy in UNN, and so on...
PG school has noting to do wit lecturers and lecturing activities. everibody recieve lecture in dia departments. PG school takes kia of the admission processes, the files, issuance of certificates etc. and yes, UNEC PG student run to Nsukka to sort these tins. Plz tell us the name of the Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies of UNEC or stop arguing

Please don't respond to that sad thing. He goes around attacking Igbo threads with lies. We know the picture isn't Enugu because okada does not operate in the city.

Those gutters should be covered. It will NEVER be alright to have an open gutter, whether or not you have a sidewalk. Open gutters are not good for the health, are aesthetically repulsive, unheard of in the advanced world (as well as in many other progressive nations), and must be done away with completely.

If you treat people responsible they try to live up to expectation. If you treat them like morons, they live like morons.
Treating people responsibly must be a conscious effort by all igbos. It has been proven to have ripple effect in all facet of the society.
This should start from family, school down to Costumer service level.

[size=15pt]Come to think of it, it may not cost up to N200,000 naira to pay horticulturists to plant aesthetic flowers and trees along the median of Chime avenue to reproduce the likeness in the picture. If our amiable governor is listening as some of you have alluded, please make Chime avenue median look like the median in the picture!

This will truly be a spectacular feat for Enugu to have a major road like Chime avenue resemble an "oyibo" man's road. Gov. Chime please give this to us as your parting gift to crown your legendary transformation of the coal city.

This is the total Airport Passenger Traffic Statistics for Q1, 2014.
For domestic passengers, Owerri and Enugu ranked 4th and 5th respectively in the nation. Owerri is not doing badly at all.
On the International angle, the AIIA Enugu recorded 8,912 as against the 12,500 it recorded in the last quarter of 2013 when it began International operations with just one airline.

Single-airline fatigue I suppose

Chidoka should do something about this and quickly. Is anyone in the know about the Turkish airline Enugu timeline?

The decision to combine Enugu and Kano has discouraged a lot of people. The option of first flying to Kano before embarking on one's trip is very very frustrating and senseless. Many prefer to go through Lagos than that.

Where is Asaba statistics here? It is one very busy airport.

And by the way, my name is on the list. We all hustled to submit forms and write aptitude test at Nsk main campus with enugu based departments (sometimes dey collect all the forms at enugu before bringing them to the PG skul), there is no office in UNEC that process and offer admission to postgraduates. Stop this blind argument

if i am not mistaken last quarter of a year is october, november and december...i guess more flights during that period because of the nature of that time(people coming for festivities) and then first quarter is january, february and march.

Those who came home for festivities must have had return tickets of which their numbers must have reflected in the QI result. The problem here, like we all know, is the tortuous stop-overs, In addition to the lack of choice. Many business travellers wouldn’t want to go through all that stress. There is a limit to everything, patriotism not excluded.

By September next year, I'd expect the likes of Emirates, Turkish airlines to fly into Enugu.
That September is when the intl terminal would be completed.

Also, the proposed national carrier should make Enugu, at least, a secondary hub. The airline's primary hubs could be Lagos and Abuja.

I think we can learn a thing or two from Uyo and Calabar when it comes to well swept and dust free streets; as well as having well trimmed green open spaces and medians!

I don't know why it's only the green spaces and roads at independence layout that gets attention! sad
