I don't know if this counts, but here was the first time I got a girl's number.

I was in 100 level at the time. Looking back I was so naive. Too naive. After seeing this girl, gorgeous thing, I fell 'in love'. We hadn't talked, but we knew that we attended the same lectures, so I was pleasantly surprised when she waved at me one day when I was sitting with a pal in front of her hall. That set my childlike mind which was fresh out of SS3, reeling with all sorts of thoughts about how she must like me back!

Two instances passed where she waved at me, just adding to my whole ideal picture that we would get married one day. One particular instance occurred where she had to get my attention before waving, and I thought that if she had to catch my gaze, it must be true love!

I dressed cool the next day. White tee shirt and I flew open my best shirt on top of it. I was dressing to kill.

I had obsessively managed to get a seat beside her for the last class that day, and after it ended, one fine boy came and sat down at her right side! angry

I knew I had to make a move fast or that guy would steal my chance, and I wasn't ready for all the second guessing I had accustomed myself to once I got back to my room.

"Hello."

She looked.

"What's your name?"

She tells me.

I tell her mine and we start talking! I'm not used to all this, so it doesn't last long, but I tell her I'll see her later, and the next day, like a boss, I walk up to her and ask her for her number and... She gives it to me!

I was freaking ecstatic that day! We still attend the same lectures, but nothing really came out of all it, and I'm sadly sitting here still a single man. Guess you could say that were just friends now. sad

Got to switch my game back on.

Hehe. Mine was pretty funny tho. A neighbour and I had an interest in the same girl, I didn't expose mine tho so only me knew. He approached my elder bro so he could tip him on how to approach the girl. But he couldn't grab it all so he told my bro to put it writing which he did and gave me to deliver but as a sharp boy, I kept it and cramed everything.

My bro re wrote another in a better package which he gave him when I claimed I misplaced the earlier one. Next day, I got to sch as early as 7am, I dey class with sweepers that morning. Shortly after, she came in and we both exchanged pleasantries. Heart started beating, voice started cracking, choked and choked while rehearsing. But I encouraged myself and closed her.
Na so I begin flow like biggie smalls oo, damn it. I saw my neighbour dropping from the bike cos we were on the balcony. The guy was so angry with squeezed face like I took his meat from his soup.

she told me she didn't hear what I was saying. I re started the rap verse, na there she know say I don cram the matter but she told me she wld think about it.

Conclusively, she agreed and you know the rest. Lest I forget, na me open am grin

Nwaazzz!! My ist wooing experience was kinda funny. I was just graduating from the level of writing love letters and actually doing the talking.

I was in SS2 and had enrolled for the GCE exams. There I met this pretty, drop dead gorgeous, hourglass figure, light skinned babe.

I noticed her from day 1 and everyday b4 leaving home, I would rehearse my lines but when I finally saw her at the end of each paper "my balls would have shrinked".

I thought of every possible "wash" I could get from approaching her and even if courage was found on trees, I couldn't help myself to pluck the required amount.

As days passed, my strategy evolved and evolved, yet I didn't even get close enough to say hi.

Alas it was final day and our last paper. While I hurriedly wanted to be done with the paper, I couldn't get my mind off her. We finished and I watched her leaving the venue.

I tailed her, hoping to catch up with her and pour out all the lines I had been rehearsing for weeks.

Each time I got too close I would pull back and take a deep breath. Not long after, we were at the bus stop and it suddenly dawned on me that if I didn't act now, I had just wasted 3 weeks of my sweet life admiring a girl, stalking her and would be a complete mofo if I just let her go.

Then I said "Hello" and she turned and gave me a warm friendly smile as though she had been waiting patiently for me. Then it happened, everything I had rehearsed, all my lines, gone!!!!

I was totally blank but her smile just lightened up the whole atmosphere. We couldn't talk for long. She told me her name, mobile phones were not as cheap as they are now, so we couldn't exchange numbers.

So I had less than 5mins chat with her and we had no way or means to keep in touch. That was it, I waited too long and had just 5mins with her.

Omo my first woo get as e be o. It was in secondary school back then(ss3) we were writing NECO exam then, I've a Been good friend to this girl since the first term, I call, text her, send her airtime like 3times a week sad

so that day, the Art students were writing government exam in the morning, obviously there were few other students around. In the classroom beside the exam hall was me, this girl and one bad friend of mine. I and my guy were playing card(whot) at one end of the classroom while this girl was studying past questions at the other end.

Each time I wanted to get up something will just hold me down, come see as cold dey catch me. My heart was pounding heavily like it was this drum they use in C&S church. cheesy

What finally gave me the courage was the fact that I've been friends with her for months and there were only 3 of us in the classroom so the embarrassment would be minimal(if any arises).

I gathered myself together and went to sit on her desk leaning forward towards her...I managed to say a line from my rehearsed lines: "you blow my mind whenever I see you" grin

hmmmmmm.stil remember mine lyk it was hours ago. it happened i kaduna wen i went to my aunt's house for the holidays, it was in 1999 and i was in jss 1 den (dou had had a tin or two during my primary school days).....alice was her name.
