Gather outside the stadium and march out. Protest is a right. Our president participated in many protests which he has also acknowledged. We must follow his footsteps to change bad governance and government.
Be resilient as you protest.
Demands shall include:
# Deregulation of the oil downstream sector to enable Nigerians and foreigners build refine tied in the country. The government made it difficult for anyone to build refinery so that crude oil export will continue and import of petroleum. So deregulating that sector will see the establishment of many refineries and gas in Nigeria which is the source of raw materials.

# Increase or better pay to medical personnel in Nigeria including better medical infrastructure in Nigeria.

# Better pay for our teachers as well as improved infrastructure in all levels of our education.

# Every religious center with about 2,000 capacity must have a functional equip medical center that runs 24/7.

You always reason demonically. How would you expect Obi to congratulate a cultist? Of what benefit would that be to our youths and to the hundreds of Nigerian youths who died due to cultism? If Obi should greet him, many Nigerians would curse him. You encourage more cultist, athiest, LGBTQ when you congratulate them.
We are remodelling the image of Nigerian youths battered by cultism, athiesism, gay marriage, etc

Mr Peter Gregory Obi is a renowned business man, a multi billionaire and a private citizen. He is not required by any law in Nigeria to greet cultists when they celebrate their birthdays.
This baffles me a lot, how someone who claims to be reasonable would want another reasonable fellow to greet a Cultist, an Athiest, free thinker etc. If Obi should do that he will lose confidence from so many Nigeria who believe in him. There are thousands of families that have lost their children, brothers and loved ones to cultistism. Cultism is still a bad taste to us ravaging our schools. How can i celebrate such a person? Politics / AEDC Selling Fake Electricity Tariff To People by reality1010: 9:18pm On Jul 05
Despite the hardship being faced by ordinary Nigerians , it has become compounded by the AEDC who sell fake electricity tariff to residents of Kubwa in FCT. After buying electricity tariff, when you load it on your prepaid meter it will not load. When you take your complain to AEDC office, they will dismantle your prepaid meter, take it to their office for repair,at the end of the repair your prepaid will be consuming high electricity unit. This is the new method that AEDC is using to cheat people in Kubwa. Almost half of the residents in kubwa have fallen victim of this evil machination by the AEDC. Kubwa residents are afraid of purchasing electricity unit. The AEDC is using the issue to adjust people's prepaid meters so that it will be consuming more units.

It is unfortunate that people who do PR for Prof Wole Sonyinka dont advice him well. Since Jonathan era his fame and popularity has gone down. He was used in bringing the previous govt into power and i think the people in the North will not forgive because the volume of killings in the North has been alarming since 2015.
Also, the Prof was messed up in the 2023 election for his position and having promised to assess this govt after one year, he has failed to do that, instead he turned to attacking Obi forgetting the suffering and hardship Nigerians are facing. A tuber of yam is N3,000, pepper is now sold per single, Nigerians are eating from th dustbin to survive.
Also it is shameful that the Professor was happy with the election rigging by APC. At his age, he felt happy with it. He never condemned it.
My verdict is that the Prof. lacks any moral attitude to be emulated by anyone especially our youths. Of course it is not a new issue because from his days in the university he lacks it.
Better he lies low to save his old age because Nigeria can not learn hooliganism now.

Yorubas struggles are led by their women, so dont underrate her.
On the other hand, the event is a ticket to second term by the administration.
The North will be jittering that the Southwest wants to join Biafrans and secceed. The North will out of fear support Tinubu for second term.
The event is a political game plan.

Remember that during party primary for the election in 2023, Yoruba Nation youths moved from one school to another campaigning for the secession of Southwest from Nigeria. The campaign was so high that school authorities in Southwest gave this group platform to conscientize the people. After the Yorubas won the election that struggle went low.

Also recall, that when APC was in one of the court and the possibility of cancelling the election due to failure to win the FCT, the APC lawyer made a statement that crisis will erupt if the election is cancelled against the APC winner.
Common sense knows that is a threat to the North.

For, now the declaration by Mrs Abiola is a ticket for second term.
The North will back out to sponsor or support any candidate against the incumbent.

Politics / Re: 4 Multinationals To Exit Nigeria Within The Q1 Of This Year. by reality1010: 4:22pm On Feb 01
Yujin:

You're as naive as a pet chicken.
Nigeria is not a nation and can never be one. India and Pakistan separated when it dawned on them that they were incompatible. That was commonsense there.
Here in Nigeria, we know we're not compatible yet we pretend and base our decisions on hurting others even when the decisions won't help us in the long run.
Nigeria's problem is fundamental besides other myriad issues. Without solving the fundamental one, nothing else will work. The main question now is this; can the fundamental problem be solved? Yes it can but no, it won't be solved because commonsense isn't common in Nigeria.
The fundamental problem is the structure of Nigeria. If it is not changed, forget it, Nigeria will descend to the worst contraption in the nearest future especially when their no longer any free oil to lubricate her rickety wheels.
I'm not like you who's all emotional than logical. Nigeria is DOOMED. Take a look around and tell me what you see. Not at war, yet her army are scattered all over the six regions to 'control' the violence all over.
Terrorists are pampered and enlisted to join the army while non-violent protesters of any sort are gunned down.
Look at the economic trajectory... gloomy like the vulva of an overworked farm cow.
Look at her infrastructures, dilapidated and unreliable.
Her tourism is dead. Nigeria can't host an AFCON currently and even moving forward. Nigeria is dead.
You're here thinking I'm campaigning for PGO while trying to defend a fraudulent personality who stole power but can't handle it. For you information, I have never campaigned for Peter Obi because I'm a futurist who plans many years ahead of the present and can foretell to a reasonable level whether a particular decision will be helpful in the longrun.
Based on my desires for Nigeria, PGO will delay it but BAT just like his predecessor, will bring us closer. True to my projection, they have brought us closer. See how suffering on monumental proportion has been unleashed on the inhabitants of Nigeria who mostly lack commonsense. Since they refuse to learn from other countries experience, they will have to learn first hand through their own experience which won't be palatable. We are in that desperate time now without help from anywhere. At the end, most will agree to trade Nigeria for their own lives.
I reiterate the good tidings that will succeed the demise of the evil contraption so those undeserving of the suffering within her can progress in peace.

We pretend alot. Those opposing you are praying for Nigeria to fall. The Yorubas will be glad to exit Nigeria now because they have everything. The Igbos are magicians and the Usian Bolt anytime anyday they willsurpass those who might have started before them. The Southsouth will be difficult because the name only exit in geography nothing common among them, the same goes with people in the middle belt.
Now on the stautus of Nigeria as a nation, alot of people think when you say Nigeria should break up they think that you dont love the country or that you are unpatriotic. If you read the Groundwork of Nigerian History by Obaro ikimi he revealed how Nigeria was merged by Lurgard against the good advise that Nigeria could produce about 8 to 10 Nations.
bEFORE ANY BREAKUP, WE NEED TO HOLD A CONFERENCE of Ethnic Nationalities to conscientise all the 250 ethnic groups about nationhood so that in the event of a break if any ethnic group is joing another to form a nation ,both must have equal status and understanding and not one dominating the others.
Breaking Nigeria into countries will help us alot. Development will reach people.
Europe was once like us but from the European wars to WWI and WWII saw ethnic agitations that spilted empires. today we love Europe

Whenever anybody from that side steals, or caught smuggling drugs, or doing anything bad, they are always quick to run to the social media to cry unnecessarily. Haba!!!

Thanks Englishsmart for this post
You need to get sense pls. No one says Igbos dont commt crimes, crimes are part of human but some of you think Igbos are saints just like a crimnal will do evil no one will say much but when a Pastor does it , the act will go viral just like that of the Igbos. Well i understand the high expectation placed on the Igbos knowing that they struggle for their survival which everyone can see.
But the question is how many of the other tribes have you index when they commit crime?
Ritual killings is a house to house activities in the Southwest including armed robbery and kidnapping, worse with the Hausas and Fulanis which is every day, but how many of these people have you given us their names? Im suprised you dont know anyone among the thousands of these people.
They are arrested and later freed.
If Igbo person commits crime please let the law take its cause, if another tribe let it also take it cause. Why we have crimes unabated in our society is because of the failure of those who are supposed to combat it.

After reading your armchair historian falsehood and other intuitive words, I could not compare your behavior to that of my 7-year-old daughter.
Communities that had kingship and the ones that had clan heads both exercised their administration according. History has it that these stateless administrative entities had sophisticated system than the so-called kingdoms. So you are too ignorant of that.

Secondly, igboland were never in war among themselves before the coming of the white man. The entire present day southeast was peaceful including the riverine areas, and the Emirate. Pre colonial wars was a common factor among the yoruba states and the arrival of the white man calmed it.

Itshekiri people never sold the onitsha people. Itshekiri is a small kingdom, very small. Rather it should be the other way round. It would have made sense if you had mentioned the Great Benin Kingdom because that kingdom exercised authority from Onitsha, itshekiri, yoruba land and riverine areas in present-day River state.

Ajayi Crowther was a slave who was freed and commissioned to use Christianity to free other slaves. The way he spread the gospel is how other Igbo slaves did in Seirraloeno and elsewhere.

Ajayi Crowther was the only one, he was together with others.

I will advise you stop spreading lies.
Even at that much of what people call history in nigeria are lies.
For example, the Yoruba people in the past claimed that Benin people originated from them , not until one of the Oba had to correct the fake history by narrating how oduduwa left Benin to establish Ile ife. And later he sent his son Oramiyo to Benin when the latter was having trouble with the leadership.
I will also refer you to the recent statement by the Oba of Benin reminding the world that Lagos belong to Benin. The Benin Obas are custodians of history and they come out once in a time to correct us of the falsehood that people have written about people.

There are lots of Revision on what people wrote in the past. You can get more from the history departments in schools of higher learning.

I like Obas they have history intact with them and anytime the opportunity comes they dish it out to correct lies.
It was one Benin Oba that corrected the falshood that Benin was found by Oduduwa. He rather clarified that Oduduwa was a Benin prince who left Benin during chose to establish the Yoruba kingdom, and along the line when Benin had issues Oduduwa was called to come back but he refused and sent Oramiyo his son who started a new dynasty.
When the Oba made that statement no Yoruba Historian debunked his fact rather they went silent.
Today, another Oba has brought out the fact that Lagos belongs to the Benin people. Those who are talking don't even know their history. No amount of your posts on social media can change history. It is there.
Some parts of Lagos are owned by the Ijaws too.
In Jos, the main town is owned by the Anaguta people, not the present-day Hausa Fulanis. Aba and some of its environs are owned by the Ibibio people, not the Ngwa people.
Let's learn to respect our traditional rulers who are well knowledgeable in culture to guide us.

ThinkAkwaIbom:
I've watched with utmost disbelief how one Okwuluora has mobilized unspeakable hate against Ibom Air, West Africa's only and most successful subnational Airline Brand.

According to him, there was a technical issue and their flight could not leave Enugu for Lagos. It is enough to rant, but mobilizing hate and calling for the end of the airline is wickedness and tribal witchcraftcy.

When people said the Igbos approached the 2023 elections with bigotry and bitterness, I defended them because I have a few of them as friends. What I have seen since last night by Igbo influencers is bigotry and bitterness.

There is no airline, Global and Local company that has not had cause to delay flights because of Technical glitches. From Emirates to Air France.

It is sad that the Igbos have subtly decided to attempt to demarket Ibom Air owned by a neighboring Akwa Ibom in a bid to promote an airline owned by one of them.

Today, Igbos are the second highest employees of Ibom Air, after Akwa Ibom indigenes. Ibom Air is owned by a State where over one hundred thousand Igbos are living peaceably and doing business without any form of attacks. The Igbos have businesses in Akwa Ibom and never has any conspire to demarket them. Tell me one single time Akwa Ibom people have shown hated against the Igbos?

For the records, Ibom Air is on the only Nigerian Airline listed in the top 10 airlines in Africa by the globally recognized Business Insider. Ibom Air was Leadership Company of the year and in only four years of commercial operations, Ibom Air is rated as one of the most successful airlines in the country.

Ibom Air has, as part of its assets, 10 A220 aircraft valued at one Hundred Billion Naira, and home Company to West Africa's only MRO facility. This is not a kind of investment you instigate hatred against.

I call on proud sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom to rise and defend our own brand.

You think too local. What has subsidy got to do with only the Igbos? The Igbo man who sales has no business with your strike and he has never for once, rather he sees your strike as affecting his business. If you increase fuel price the igbo business man, Yoruba businness man , hausa Fulani business men and other tribes business men will factor the increase in their businesses, period.
Civil servants are the ones complaining and tghose more in civil service are the Yorubas. Tinubu should provide enough palliatives for workers that is all.
Stop fooling yourself.

These should be the concern of NLC and TUC and telling the president to revert to old price. Who does that? Who's Ajaero? He must be stupid. An elected president? Was the president elected by workers alone? Ajaero should find out who Tinubu is, if he doesn't know, Tinubu is not a baby he can threaten. He cannot use Tinubu to score points. Ajaero should go back to Obi that sent him that his Plan C would not work o.
Ajaero is just NLC Presdient that speaks for the workers.
The government should provide enough palliatives to civil servants if they want the increase to stay. It is not about Ajaero but the suffering being faced by Nigerian workers.
Werre do one get money to buy fuel at N537 per litre? Is it Ajaero that will give Nigerians fuel? Coming week will be very tough because the hike will reflect on items generally and Nigerians will groan under serious hardship like Jacob and his family who ran to Eypgt.

What the silly NLC leader should fight for is how Salaries will be increased to cover for this fuel issue. The call for the strike is sick if he is also working in the interest of the country. Now is the time for all to look at ways for this country to make meaningful progress.

NLC doing the same thing over and over again, subsidy returns, fuel price increases slightly and then, subsidy payment increases too.

If we follow the trend of things in this country, we'd understand that these marketers just want to make more money from the government in the name of subsidy while calling ridiculous amounts as the real price of fuel. Just last year, they said it will be 350 or thereabout per litre if the subsidy was removed. Early this year they changed the narrative and they said it will be N750 per litre. Is this not a way of holding the government bound to keep paying for subsidies whereas Nigeria consumes less than what they declare as the consumption per day.

We should start thinking of how to move this country forward and not backwards anymore.
That is what NLC is fighting for. The country cannot move forward with suffering created by corrupt elites. Since 2015 civil servants have not had increased salaries.
The former president jacked fuel price from 85 to 195 claiming he has removed subsidy. Which subsidy does this government want to remove again?

SouthEast people are more of private industries and organised businesses. Theyhave never participated in strikes rather they go about their businesses.
The truth is civil servants are the ones that need the strike most because their present pay cannot take them anywhere.
My advice is that Tinubu and his men should reach out to civil servants as they did during campaign begging them not to go on strike. They should be ready to provide them with alternative and not telling them to endure while they steal the money.
