RomanceRe: Update: I told Her My Feelings But Was Rejected by 1F30M4(f): 3:57pm On Nov 20, 2021
I'm never against telling someone how you feel about them, infact I feel it's just good to get it off your chest once and for all, atleast so you know you're not just building castles in the air.

I just read through your other post, honestly I wouldn't have gone through with it knowing how she is about love & relationships. No I'm not faulting you either, just putting myself in that situation. I'd have seen it(her reply/reaction) coming. There's no smoke without fire, I feel she's had some unpleasant experiences in the past and probably still trying to deal with it or just plain living in denial which makes things even worse orrr maybe some other person's unpleasant experiences.

I know you must feel terrible for outing your feelings, sorry about that. We can never prepare ourselves enough when it comes to telling someone how you feel about 'em, these things are bound to happen cos it has to be either a Yeah yeah orrr a Nahhh, the latter just throws one off balance even if you be shock absorber lol. Try to look on the brighter side of life dear, you'll be fine.

It is now clear to me that majority of Nigerians don't learn any lessons from their previous mistakes and are ready to make same mistakes all over again and then lament for 8 years only to repeat same mistakes all over.

As usual, I will be here to read the lamentations when the majority of the citizens collectively vote in another scammer/ part of the status quo members as your next president.

Another bumpy ride loading ........
People just catching cruise here & there until shit gets real in 2023 and then we're back to square one.

It just has to be soft, boiled or roasted. With/without coconut or pear, I love mine boiled anytime anyday. Roasted corn, just like roasted plantain, infact anything roasted will leave me feeling thirsty all the time even after escorting it down with something light.
EducationRe: Strange Occurences In Boarding House Hostels' Share Your Experience by 1F30M4(f): 8:21pm On Nov 16, 2021
ekineme:
Let me share my own experience at FGC vandeikya 03, Due to water scarcity junior students due fetch water by 1am to 2am.
Though school authority frown at this habit but it was a survival trait you have to develop if you must survive because once the rising bell is rung every student rush out at same time hence the queue and struggle is something most of us can't contend with.

Back to the story, this faithful day, my friend K.C woke us up(a group of 3) as usual we tip toe out of the hostel to avoid alerting other students and the house captain. When we got to the borehole( manual pumping borehole).

Prologue: They has been stories passed down by students of some spirit beings always coming to fetch water at that borehole between 12am-1am.

just like every boarding school myths we believed it was told to discourage people from going to the borehole at that time.

Back to the story, as soon as we arrived at the borehole k.c started pumping it while I was rinsing the bucket. we hurriedly filled our cans. This was done in a rush because once the night guard (security) hears the sound, He will come and Chase us away. I helped Ejike with his can which is a big bucket, and while I was trying to carry mine, lo and behold the borehole started pumping itself.
People of God, As soon as we heard the sound of water gushing out, they was this cold breeze and shivering that griped us and we ran, all man to his tent, as fast as your leg can go.

We narrated the story the next morning to our housemates and classmates, this incident confirmed the authenticity of the previous experiences of other people and the myth was established as fact.

This happened 2003, Fastforward to 2011, I am now a geotechnical Engineer, I narrated this incident to my colleague and we all laughed at our ignorance.

The incident has nothing to do with spirit.
(Capillary action, pressure and high water table at that time) Engineers in the house will understand better what happened.
Lmaooo quite hilarious especially when the myth was established as a fact and then you & your pals laughing it off some years later after deducing what actually happened with the water pump grin grin I like the way you finished off your story.

I went to the Nirsal branch in my area to ask if there is still hope for the covid-19 loan, I was told to open an account with them as it helps, I have opened the account. Please what else can I do to get the loan.
To be frank with you, the officials are all in on this and they're are in the best position to help with facilitating the loan. Opening an account with them is one step forward, you'll need to "talk terms" with someone on the inside to get your loan. It's all about connection now
EducationRe: 2020/2021 Unilag Postgraduate Admission Guide: Questions & Answers by 1F30M4(f): 12:15pm On Nov 02, 2021
Dontp2015:
Good morning everyone, happy new month to you all. Please i have something that has been bothering me overtime now and i want you all to support me with a clue. I dropped out of school 2006 while preparing for my waec because of lack of money. And now i am planning on going back to school because i now work as an electrical tech in an industrial firm and i am very good at what i do.
I was planning after my waec i would buy a form from poly to either study elect elect. My question goes like this, Do you think that after 15years without anything to do with school or book, can i make my waec, okay if i find a way, can i still be active to study elect or i should look for other simple course?

Please no insult i am just looking for your support morally.
God bless you
Like the commenter above me, I also think you'll do great especially as you already have hands-on practical experience. It won't be sooo difficult for you to grasp whatever you'll be taught by your lecturers so I'd say by all means go for it. For your waec, you'll definitely need to go over the curriculum, try to be up-to-date, be familiar with the formulas and if possible get a tutor to help you with that. Best of luck in all your endeavors.

Thank you

You're right, consistency is key.

However, its not really that hard to maintain consistency if you start small.

Even if it is 3 mins of walking round your room or jogging in place, just commit to do it regularly

With time you will get used to it and even become addicted to it.

Like me, I am slowly becoming addicted to ticking off my exercise paper.

I even added one more tick to it today.

Just start small. No matter how small. Even if it is literally 3 mins daily walk.

Trust me consistency won't be hard at all.
I just get so lazy *facepalm* but then I love the walking part maybe cos my legs are so flexible.. I think I'll try to do that more often, thanks smiley

Exercise is something that we should do everyday.

It makes us healthy and it makes us look good

I used to exercise at least 30 mins each day at some point.

And damn, I looked really athletic and felt really good.

But until recently, exercising is off and on for me.

I still look athletic though. But not Cristiano Ronaldo athletic like I was before cool

I now have a small paper pasted on my door. I tick each day I exercise.

And I have exercised for 8 straight days before going to work - as you can see in the picture.

The truth is, I feel more energetic, healthier and more confident since I started

I have committed to exercising everyday for the next 81 days and beyond.

If you are reading this, you should too.

Your future self and unborn generation will thank you for it.
I must commend you, good luck keeping up.. Consistency is very key but it's really hard ngl.
