What I would do... Just thinking. I'm unable to process my thoughts in that regard. In my lifetime, I can count how many cousins I know or even met. It's all respect from this side, not some cordial stuff. In this case, I'll probably shrug it off, send her a wedding package few days to the wedding and maybe a card wishing both of them well.

Thank you, Collins. I really wish one can easily pick up on all these. Our instincts comes to play at the speed of light lol, it makes us react the way we do especially when we sense danger. There's actually no time to think, we just act on it, even though it doesn't seem like the right move as you have pointed out, it is what it is.

I really do hope we all remember whenever we find ourselves in a situation as such. I'm particularly thankful for this piece, never did I know about the dog calming signals until now, I'll hold onto that and learn to put that into practice while hoping it doesn't(never) get(s) to the biting stage. OP your wife is a woman and there's something she hates being called or told. Just try and find that out or create one yourself and call it in a very snickering demeaning way. Don't call her that immediately she calls you short. Wait till she's in a good mood or in public and then use it on her and steal that her mood. Please don't insult her or say something that'll take away her dignity in the eyes of others for her dignity is your dignity.

Once again, I'm deeply sorry for your loss. You feel this way because amongst your siblings you were probably the one closest to her. You were there with her, you saw it all, I can tell you from experience that it's not something that will ever fade off from your memory, it won't. Movies/music/games won't do anything at this stage, those memories will keep coming back, even if your friends offer to take you out to make you feel better, it won't change much.

Only you truly know how you feel, try not to get pissed when people don't seem to understand. It is still very fresh, 1month will feel like just yesterday, it'll probably feel that way even in a few months time. Give yourself time to grieve Chris, to heal, to process it all, that is what I did. She sure knows that if there was anything you could do to avert death, you would have done that.

I was in school and it hit me sooo hard, I literally lost my mind, that was one of the four times I didn't care if I lived to see another day. - I buy from specific people. Once they see me, they know what I want so they start putting everything together. I'm collecting my goods with my right hand and at the same time moving money from same hand to the vendor's. Sometimes, I also buy from just anyone, as the spirit leads anyway

- To avoid insults and getting that "bad eye", I bargain moderately but then I don't really have time for all that back and forth. If I see that you're deliberately ignoring me or being unreasonable, I move away really fast, never turning back.

What are your tricks for getting reasonable bargains or you don’t care?
- I switch to pidgin sharp sharp or the vendor's native language(if I'm able to deduce that and ofcourse if I can speak) Hailing them "customer customer", "ore mi, bawo ni, mo n bo oo", "customer toh sure ju", "my very good customer", "shebi yunno say na you be my number 1, after you na still you" All na whining, any day wey see finish enter, naim be say everybody go dey im own lane.
