OP, love how the meal turned out. The kind of R&B that gives a very nice twist in the mouth, other than that cooked separately. The stew definitely looks spicy hot, gives off this fresh tomatoes+shombo+tatashe blend. And yes the fish, that egg wey don soak stew wella, so nice. I hope you enjoyed it so much like my eyes did ![]() |
Alexaonfleek:Abi oo my sister. Everything don cost no be small. Na soap own I no jus understand. |
Foodforthought:Lol that's thyme. |
Double celebration, congratulations. |
Mercychen:Hot custard and soft fresh bread in my hostel every Saturday, not weird cos loved by all. Rice and draw soup(okro, for me), absolutely love it. Bread and stew, nah not weird at all, oldie but goodie. Heard of pap and stew, seen a relative eat that and was trying really hard not to cringe. Said it was just like eating cornmeal(Agidi), just really cold semi-solid pap that could also go well with any hot soup. This headteacher who can somehow eat RUNNY pap with soup, weird much lol. |
mogpet:Not just by swallowing saliva, keep your body hydrated at all times too. Vitamin C is good. |
E reach to ask ooo.. Crazy joint pains, high body temperature, cough, catarrh, that overall feeling of discomfort. |
Beey:How can I "like" this over and over and over and over again, a thousand times please?! Bless your soul. |
Hehehe what a flyer alot of people take the other way whenever they sight preachers sharing flyers from afar. With this, they can be sure that everybody would want to sharpally collect & pocket it, maybe even disguise to collect more dollar bills lmaooo. Too much sense will not kill the brain behind it God bless the work of your hands, ahnie. |
In the space of one year, it's been from one bad experience to another, maybe take a break for now. Jus chillax, brotherman. |

bigtt76:Right. I can't see what is so hard to understand here. Yea it stretches beyond that in some other cases but then this is Nigeria. I'm not sure there is any manufacturer that will put out such based on customer satisfaction, it's even difficult to return a defective product(a product that has either been tampered with or just not in good condition) here in Nigeria, "na so we buy am oo, abeg epp us manage am laidat", "na wetin I see for carton, naim I give you oo". Could be error as a result of mass production on the part of the machineries, it could be man-made too, sometimes we can't really tell for sure which is which so it's difficult, I heard some do though. You may buy a product that doesn't appeal to you as much as it does to a selected few, does that make it a bad product? Nope, same goes for music, food, fashion accessories and all that. This is in no way promoting the manufacture of products that are below par(substandard) or of low quality, that in itself cannot be justified. Quantity can be reduced but let it be of good quality, it could get better and better as time goes on and if the economy permits. We love quantities, me inclusive but if the quality is okay and will not be detrimental to my health and that of other end consumers then that's fine. Please bin that idea of reducing both quantity and quality of your products in order to realize huge returns, it's not easy for everyone of us, may God crown all our efforts with success, Amen. |
Tough one. Ogbono will go cos I'm not one who loves swallow. Can't be struggling to get a spoonful of rice into my mouth with my right hand and doing tai chi with my left else everywhere will get messy but if na swallow I no go mind at all. I no fit calm down for rice. |
Can relate to the 2nd instance, not football sha, didn't play football until I was 14 or so. advanceDNA:You sure hit the nail on the head, OP should do this and see how it goes. He'll probably be looking at the OP and trying to process how & where she got the liver to slap him. I'm sure she didn't do that intentionally, acted on impulse. |
EmmanuelScott1:Lmfaooo comrade, off your mic please |
"You know where I live. I live in Lagos. We live together" you jus gotta love the Falanas. |
Buoda Yinka, mabinu sugbon you need to be calming down o. How can you start proposing marriage to a girl you barely know/just met? I really hope this is not infatuation. Can't say for a fact that she has called it quits with her abusive boyfriend so you can't be too sure, yeah she might have told you that but it may just be that she's in a new environment, far from his reach, far from his troubles, some freedom at last, a breath of fresh air, I mean who wouldn't want that?! Plus a very special bread made & delivered with love daily, aww how romantic. I can guarantee that she enjoys it more than you could ever imagine but you see that's what it is, it is what it is. |
princepee:I'm tired smh I just can't deal honestly. When asked about the extent of damage, they really said that only two children died on the spot but then there were others that were severely injured. |
Lmaooo I used to know someone who was in that second category, always ready to put up things for sale just to have a feel of any latest phone or accessories. I learnt not to gbenu si, buy am if e don too enter ya eye, nothing spoil ![]() |
Smh can't be surprised after listening to one of their own early this morning saying "they have no checkpoints along that axis plus they were having parade at the time of the horrible incident and that they feel the driver lost control before ramming into the school children who had just closed from school". |
I understand that you want to define your relationship early enough but if he's giving these hints that he's not in anyway ready for something serious like marriage(anytime soon), I know it doesn't quite answer your question but actually it does partly. Indeed, marriage is hardwork, one may seem to be financially or emotionally ready but even that isn't enough as you also have to be mentally prepared for it. Not many are mentally ready which in itself is very very important I must say, some think either one of other two or both can suffice, it's really not so. Yes the vibe may be there, you both love being in each other's company, he's sensible, very hardworking, probably ticks most boxes and all that but is this for the long run or just for the moment? I don't know, maybe don't stop "reading the room" to know if it's worthwhile.. Did you say you'll be seeing him for the second time soon? Great, I don't think it's too late to know a thing or more about him like his goals & interests, probably didn't get to do that the first time. You never know somebody enough, even married couples still learn new things about their SOs after 3,5,10yrs of friendship & marriage. It's good you know what you want, in recent times many just want to have fun, explore body counts and keep it going. Life goes on. |
Very thoughtful of Mike. No be for Naija wey everybody eye dey chook. |
