Boiled please, with a bowl of pear ![]() |
Her mother is lying cold in the mortuary, now thisss. May their souls find rest and may God comfort their loved ones. |
It's been 4months now. You haven't been here for sometime, I hope you're alright and your hubby is gradually finding his feet over there. Sending prayers up for your family, everything will be alright. |
Nice one, Mr. Governor. Keep coming up with solutions that will suit community needs, may oil never dry from your head. |
Lol that is a beautiful gown. The colour is cool on the eyes, it's quite long, the neckline is nice, simple design and no crazy openings. Would y'all have a problem with this outfit if it was worn by an average, obese, non-curvy and/or slim lady? My guess is as good as yours ![]() |
This is sooo sad. My heart goes out to his loved ones, most especially his mum. |
She's very courageous, congratulations to her. |
Achotago onye ga enye ha ego i machi akpa. Anaekwu onye ga echi obodo Naijiria, APGA won't be in the top 5, ndi ahu amakwa ife smh. |
LadyD22:Saying you both are lucky her farts doesn't stink, lol it can only be ment. That roommate of yours is indeed a very silly girl. |
Eish! Nigeria's best city indeed. |
Heart-rending. My deepest condolences, Chidi. May God grant you all the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses. |
Hahahaha, it's the "not my fault, I'm a human being" for me. So you and your other roommate are what then? Insects lol? I know someone like that, very loud farts every 5-10mins, it got me so pissed even as it felt like he was just passing gas, odourless gas. The sound is really off-putting *rolling my eyes* and then someone says "c'mon don't be like that, he's a human being, do you want him to hold it in and maybe get hospitalized?" I'm like "oh pleeease!" in my head. Since it's more like a school hostel allocation and not your rented space/apartment, I'm not sure there's anything you can do about it, you can't kick anyone out and you can't move to another room. The good thing is you won't have to deal with all that for too long. Congratulations in advance, welcome to the favour market. |
Zimri:3 young ladies and an old woman |
Really tragic, so sad. May his soul Rest In Peace |
Congratulations to Mercy & her hearthrob. Obi na aso anyi May the peace of God be with you both and may that beautiful smile never fade from your faces. |
Boyfriend, I thought as much. Whether you carried out the act yourself or not, you all should face the full wrath of the law, including James. |
Lol in that case, I hope y'all have a plan B and C. |
chimex001:That was exactly what crossed my mind. Probably he got another friend involved so they could stalk her and eventually execute his/their plan. Orrr one of them wanted an affair with her, she turned him down and he decided to teach her a "lesson". Whatever be the case, I really hope justice prevails. This is horrible. |

It's a marketing job. Lmaooo @you will be paid handsomely, it is strictly commission-based. You're asking if you should go or not? If you're willing to promote their products & can rake in sales for them, why not. By the way, you can continue sending applications to other organizations. |
Yeah, that's right! |
Greatzeus:Please read this and digest it well, OP. Let it sink in! |
Awwww so lovely |
Am I on the 7th page lol. I believe the advice you've gotten so far is more than enough. It is quite funny though. |
This has been going on for sometime lol. It's a big shame that this is what they're actively thinking about everyday, how to rip people off. |
George, that is the phonology aspect, we call it diction here. Did you teach him about the monothongs, diphthongs, long and short vowels? You may use the vowel chart while at it and also give him some examples of words with same vowel sound, let him digest it well and come up with more examples on his own. Do that with the consonant sounds as well. I think that will help him understand better. Good luck! |
As I dey see this man, e go too like wahalurrrr ![]() |

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy. Little Temi, you're blessed. |
Samakus:Oh okay, I get it now. Loool familiarity As e be say you be im guyman, make im sef follow you dey enjoy the verandah, you nur see sey na very good spot for reflection.I don't think he'll do that if you were married(with kids), I may be wrong lol. Well, you can get a carpenter to construct the mosquito net enclosure as someone advised. |
Benard5050:Your last paragraph is making me a bit skeptical about you getting a shop now, I'll tell you why in my next paragraph. Hmmm your 2nd paragraph, enjoying the services and no intention of paying for it, that is crazy. I feel you shouldn't get a shop now because the expenses go choke, shop rent, utilities, setting things up & all that plus you still have to settle bills in the house you live in. The commenter above me touched on something very important, you have to be able to pay your employee, the business may start to crumble if he/she is being owed salaries, that can give you a bad reputation. When you start running it full-scale, many things will change. The main reason for venturing into this line of business is to have another source of income to complement your salary from the teaching job. Small scale as it is now, not much is expected of you and then you can put all your proceeds back into the business. Going full-scale, you can't just put all your proceeds back into the business, you'll need to save a fraction of it for monthly/yearly rent, landlord no go wan hear abeg abeg no market. Unlike when you were doing everything at home, you'll settle the bills for both shop & house now, you will pay employee, upgrades sef go dey, more pressure & expectations, our economy sef and inflation choke. It's good your customer base is growing by the day, I pray they understand that you'll need to add a little something to their bills to enable you pay your own bills. With this long epistle of mine, I hope I have been able to convince and not confuse you that you should not go full-scale yet, you can put that on hold for now. Keep running it as you have, I'm sure things will fall in place in due time. If you have one or two people maybe relatives orr friends that can help with the picking, sorting and sometimes washing of clothes while you're at the teaching job, it will make things much easier and then you only have to wash whatever is left, iron and package all of them when you get back. |

May the peace of God be with you both and may that beautiful smile never fade from your faces.
