Marriage is a wonderful thing,it comes with a truck full of perks and other gains,it's an institution ordained by God and it is worth looking forward to, BUT PLSSSSSSSSSSSSS it is not the ultimate achievement, the ultimate milestone, the ultimate discovery channel documentary,i get so irritated when people like you make it seem as if a woman's worth concurs absolutely with her marriage status, men are just as affected too, so wats all these siren about 32million single whateva, women are humam beings and every human has a God given assignment(i don't think you know yours cause you've bn living aimlessly), this is the real substance of life, fulfilling that purpose, solving that problem that God created you to be a solution to, marriage just happens to be one of those things that help "butterlize" your bread, its nt the bread itself,so pls get off that mentality, save enuf money to buy back your cheese resembling brain from myopia mall and start using it to think instead of using it as collateral for stupidity.

Personally eight years is a really long time to be "dating", if both of you are still in school then i'm guessing you are still in your 20's, this is one of the reasons why I won't fall my weight behind teenage and pre-teenage dating, probably she's grown up now(in mind) and she doesn't fancy those things that used to tickle her while she ws younger, those things meaning you, I think you should just give her time, give her space to breath,we are all tempted to lend ourselves to variety atimes, maybe she just wants a different air.let her be for now

With that said let me start my epistle, For the most part being in a loving relationship can be like smearing your mouth with chilled yoghurt paste on a sunny traffic bound day but of course it has its flip, less tasty "kunu" side too(kunu is a locally made drink found mainly in the northern part of Nigeria,it can be sweet but it usually has a peppery feel down the throat), we all need someone to love and cherish and dts why no matter how much we try to habituate a life of solitude(speaking for myself) we still feel this subtle itching feeling to sync with someone, But getting that right someone can be a daunting task especially for a guy

"You never had to try"- This statement was used in smallville by Lana Lang when she was talking to Clark Kent  in one of their love-yo yo sessions,Clark was lamenting on how hard he had been trying to make her see him as worthy enough for her, she ended the conversation with "Clark, you never had to try", The point is this,I think we(guys) sometimes try too much to fit into the picture of what we think would appeal to that girl/lady's idea of a perfect guy,we over indulge them,we over conjure, over plan, over spend, over talk, over try.In many cases we are unconsciously not being fair to the ladies, because we place them on extremely high pedestals that they are left with no choice but to behave as such.

I think most of the time if we allow our selves we would see that most of these "hot ladies" have their minds beaming with subtle rays appended with the phrase-"You don't really have to try that hard", ladies,am I on course?

Hey gurl, are you the shy type, thats why you find it difficult to say yes?
Even if you are shy to tell him to his face, you can opt for sending him an sms telling him yes.
The bottom line is don't keep him waiting unnecessarily. If he's the impatient type he myt just move on.
Sms is too small, she should send a telegram, pip pip space-"Y", pip space pip space "E", pip pip dash pip space "S"

Some ladies just know how to house loads of loads of stupidity in that little box above their neck.Must everything with you pple be coated with mystery and difficulty?.What's the big deal in saying "yes".maybe you've stuffed so much down your throat and the word "yes" cant seem to get some air, If thats the case then go take a plunge into river niger and DROWNNNNNN, that should clear it, GOSH!, I wonder hw long it took the guy to muster enough courage to let those words off his heart, into his lips, then out to your undeserving plastic ears, what's wrong with you, If you go six months without a guy saying hi,you'll feel inadequate and insecure and give a free invite to anybody who cares to come to your "sobbing only" party, now you have a guy, he likes you,he's asked you out, you like him too and yet you are still giving the pale yellow card.Maybe you've not commenced divorce proceedings with your spirit husband, please use your head and give that young man a "Yes".
If not allow him to sail free into better, more qualified and more deserving waters outhere.

Romance › Re: Why Do Guys Break A Caring Woman's Heart? by 1one: 1:01pm On Aug 04, 2010
Girls would continue to get broken, shattered, and shredded hearts because they remain a perpetually complex and mysterious race, you never know what to expect.
With a lady what you see is never what you get, every thing they say or do is themed with duplicity.
You would never know when she's saying yes because she wants you to think "no" or when she's actually saying "yes", its like shes housing all her true emotions and feelings behind a lead padded 100 feet forte and just somehow enjoys the view from way up there seeing you grappling to outheight this barrier"

"Sometimes you ladies can make your self so mysterious, you give us sleepless nights just trying to demystify you and Identify that thing that rocks your boat.Gettting to understand a lady most times is like looking at the sky and trying to count the number of stars on a bright sunny day, you make out yourselves as hidden treasure chests that require codes, maps and ocean bound journeys to unlock, bt the unforunate thing is when you finally open the chest you see a map that directs you else where, the mystery continues.
Not many if us have time for all this drama.THAT IS WHY A GIRL'S HEART WOULD CONTINUALLY GET BROKEN.GBAM!
Romance › Re: @20 Something! Yet No Girlfriend, Pls Am I Normal? by 1one: 4:43pm On Jul 21, 2010
Acidosis, you are as normal as a car with four tyres, its really nt a big deal so there's no point cloaking your self with this extra-terrestrial or under-terrestrial fabric.
we are on the same page,so i know what you mean, the only difference is i'm nt in 400L, i feel its just a state of mind that you've been used to,i relish my singleness cos it makes me stand out amongst my guys evn though i have attributes that would make maria carey think twice about nick cannon, secondly i think you've nt just made it a priority to be in a relationship.if its as much a priority as you completin your project or gettin a 3.5GPA, you would be in one by now, you are not ready for a relationship when you are ready YOU WILL BE READY.
Romance › Re: At The Verge Of Break Up by 1one: 3:54pm On Jul 21, 2010
I won't quote anybody in my response here even though i've bn reading some rather myopic and very lame comments, its unfortunate to think that some pple equate a woman's "kitty" to material expenses, who says a girl should give up her virginity/sexuality to a guy just because the guy spends on her, does it mean the guy is only spending on her to get paid back in "kitty kind", this kind of eqution is only common between aristos and their partners not in a thriving,"heading for the alter" relationship,i think its just an unfortunate misconception to think that a woman has nothin else to offer apart from her sexuality,to estimate a woman's worth solely on her sexuality is a yardstick common only to the subjects of the darwanian theory. when adam saw eve,he said this is "the bone of my bone, the flesh of my flesh", he saw the inside first before the outside, i think a woman's inate qualities should be proprietary over her physical attributes and the sex that comes with it, if i claim to love a girl then i should be willing to give "freely",nt exactly expecting anythin in return, selfless giving is a major projectory of true love, ofcourse it's a two way street, but if as a guy i'm demanding sex from my gal which according to her standards, are far more than her ability to pay then i'm no longer loving but just trying to manipulate her to satisfy my primal needs. In summary every woman has a right to protect her sexuality, the only hands that stand above this right are the hands of her husband, IF HE'S NOT READY TO WAIT TO FIT INTO THIS "HUSBAND CIRCLE", he could as well stick his leaking manliness in a bucket of cement.SIMPLE!

Romance › Re: I Think I Am Falling In Love With My Subordinate by 1one: 10:16am On Jul 08, 2010
@poster. I think its too early to start drawing unneccessary conclusions and assumptions as they say assumption is the termite of friendship, enjoy your friendship for now and stop thinking about marriage,c'mon get your head out of that cloud, the more friendly you become the easier it would be to tell whether he actually likes you or not, then you can now start considering dating then marriage, i personally think office romance does not lead to anything positive cos the attraction could come because you guys are always together, in summary just be cool, dnt rush into anything.DO NOT QUIT YOUR JOBBBBBBBB

Romance › Re: How Can You Know He Is Saying The Truth? by 1one: 12:47am On Jul 08, 2010
What happened to him jumping on the plane and coming to meet you instead, better put your "heart" and your "money" back in their right places before you end up using the latter to fix the broken pieces of the former, you cant just trust anybody like that and its nt about whethr he's nigerian or not, you cnt just wholeheartedly believe someone you've nt seen, pple that have physically known each other for years still end up tearing themselves apart nt to talk of this raffle draw/lucky dip they call online dating, nonsense!,DONT GO ANYWHERE.
Romance › Re: Handling Heartbreak by 1one: 12:07am On Jul 08, 2010
Give your self space to breath, dont allow your heightened sense of loneliness to push you into the arms of any man just because you want to be bordered by care and attention besides its nt healthy to use someone elses' attention or care to cushion or make up for the vaccum u feel without actually loving the person, that would be simply manipulation.
Romance › Re: Handling Heartbreak by 1one: 12:04am On Jul 08, 2010
Sorry about your breakup, before i evn start anything, pls discard any idea that having lots of sex might actually make u feel better, as far as am concerned thats the lowest, lamest and most silly thing i've heard in quite a while, i think you should draw your lessons from this,do a lot of reminiscence and try to circle on where things started to change,i knw sme pple might say ths is nt the best thin to do since u are actually supposed to be getting him out of your mind bt i think it would help at least to prevent such occurences from happening again,it would also help give you that peace of mind that its his loss not yours having truly checked and found out that there was nothing you did to trigger this rather unfortunate outcome because every single reaction is consequent of a preceeding action no matter hw subtle or passive,so try to find out. i always say building your life around a guy/girl is always a bad idea and dats y u wd feel as bad as you do bt there's always a room for recovery,i second to what the first poster said, get your self busy, you've obviously spent so much in the relationship tending to the guy's needs, see this time as means to putting urself in the big picture, enjoy yourself, if you cnt, learn it,nothing cant be learnt, identify with yourself once more, if you really search deep, there are things that u reaaaaaly love doing evn if u are alone, start doing them, nobody, absolutely nobody sud be responsible for how happy or sad your are,if it happens that way then you freely gave them the right to do so,take that right back and go make yourself happy.keep us posted.cheers.
Romance › Re: What Can I Do? by 1one: 9:45pm On Jul 01, 2010
@poster, you weren't exactly clear on what kind of happiness you are looking for.however the case,it would be a futile venture to attempt to source happiness of any sort from someone, look within yourself and ask and search for what makes you happy, everybody has it,the reason why u might not have noticed it is maybe you have over relied on external sources for that happiness, search for that source from within and let it flow.

Romance › Re: He Must Love Me! by 1one: 8:33pm On Jun 29, 2010
@poster, u knw what, feelings are like waves,we sure cant prevent them from coming out but we can choose which one to surf, the fact that u are stuck up on ths guy doesnt neccessarily mean u sd go for him. if he doesnt like you or feel the same way towards you, you could go on dreaming and dreaming about you'll on a yatch off the coast of the bahamas bt you'll jst be hurting urself, u cnt cajole anybody to really love u,the bst you cn do is to mke urself obvious bt if he doesnt still pick a clue from there, 'go pitch your tent else where.SIMPLE!

considering your rather unfortunate incident,i thnk it wd be fair to say you should continue your hitchhiking in search of a dick the circumference of the Eiffel tower, and when u do find 'em,make the most of the experience(s)because sooner thn later you wd cme bck here begging us to advise u on hw to tighten your slum hole because ur "final" knight in shiny armour thinks you are to looooooooooose for him.
