He did not
She was the one stalling the matter was raised months ago.
I'm guessing they were already fiance's by that time, well into already planning for a wedding...

That's something you bring up prior to engaging a woman, so there is no cause for a claim of compulsion.
He is even lucky she showed herself by not signing. A more strategic devil will just sign and use the situation to claim signing under duress if she needed to play that divorce card in the future.

Hopefully he carries the lesson forward.

Send him this article to read. Notice what #1 is

I would even take it further past that and say bring it up as casual conversation BEFORE you start dating to prepare her mentally, while the both are still friends.
That way when it is brought up later for real, she will be more mentally prepared.

That’s why you need to know the law. But some men when they get hit by the vagina all sense of reason goes out the window.
My brother was due to wed end of this month but that won’t happen anymore because his fiancée made a huge issue when asked to sign a prenup
Now if I have made $20 million before I met someone I will most definitely ensure those assets are protected. Money for the children is held in a trust fund so that there are no issues of someone buying Peruvian hair with money meant to feed your children.

This is no brainer ....money always brings the worst in people.
Why did he wait until almost wedding date tho?
By then stress and resources have already been involved in that failed expedition.

That topic should have been a mandatory early discussion point between them before they became fiances, talkless of few weeks before the wedding.

Unless he felt the need to trick/pressure her with time to sign...in which case that would even render the thing null in court even if she signed because she could use "Signing under duress" as a serious point in court for the judge to fling that prenup out the window. There is no gender equality in the court, they treat women with baby gloves... like fools that constantly have no clue what they are doing, because if you were a man, a contract is a contract...no matter how compulsed you were to sign it.

The prenup has to be something that has been discussed, given to her to think about, even sef RECCOMMEND that she takes it to her own legal counsel to explain to her the terms (so she can't claim ignorance), and that she then signs well in advance...without compulsion. This is key.

Basically the prenup paper comes along with the ring as a pre-req.

Reminds me of one nigerian that came to vacation in yankee.
Nigga asked to borrow my phone because he "wasn't getting signal"...only for him to be making long direct calls to Nigeria upon me giving him angry.

By the time the bill came, he was safely in naija.

It is because of situations like these, and more, that I do not host nigerians who come fresh off the plane.
Romance › Re: Guys, Can You Marry A Lady With 2 Kids From Different Men? by 2buffagain(m): 2:12pm On Sep 17, 2018
No.

Besides the obvious reasons already mentioned by the fellas in this thread...

Regardless of feelings, Those children will ALWAYS hold some kind of allegiance to their real fathers.
So there you are, a man that has been conned into raising up another man's child like some bitch.
If that child becomes sucessful, I bet you that kids father is gonna show up one day like "My child, I have changed...Forgive me (tears running down his face and ish)".

That child will still feel a need to pull that nigga back in.
Why? Because blood is thicker than water.

Also Like someone said, 2 is my max. If she has already had that, budget have finish!
But you NEED to put a baby in a woman like that otherwise, no matter what sob stories she has or what bullshit comes out of her mouth to egg you on, all her sub-conscious(i.e she can't help it) will see you as is "that guy I conned into raising MY kids".

It is when all these things unfold that You then quickly realize that you allowed your life to be used like toilet paper....slaving yet another inherits. Such things are a curse.

There is a reason why when a lion takes over a pride, that it kills the children of the previous ruler.
There is wisdom in the honesty of that animal.

Signing a prenup doesn't always save the man because if that daughter of Jezebel decides to ruin you, the prenup would be overlooked by the family court.
That an insurance company will always look for a way to not pay you money when an accident happens, doesn't mean you sha won't do your part by owning one.

Better for increasing chance of success in the future.

The Jezebel too will be aware that she signed a prenup so she would have to work a little harder to get the same result as she would have if there was none there. For the lazy Jezebel, this sometimes serves as a deterrent to foolishness.

If she doesn't sign, we can't wed. Simple matter that is not up for debate.

IMO Preparing and Signing a prenup should infact be a mandatory part of a marriage...as in BY LAW.

But God ask moses to make a serpent that anyone who looks at will be saved. Was it the serpent that saved them? The answer is no.

God asked moses to make cherubim with wings and head to cover the ark of covenant and He instructed solomon on how to put images in the temple.

Images are objects used in worship but not to be worshiped.

God is against making images and calling the m god.

I tend to agree with this, but this really applies to 1st gen Nigerian immigrants who ofcourse has more important things to establish for his generations.

I'm saying I haven't seen for n>1 gen nigerians in the US either. Because a Nigerian born in yankee several generations in, as long as they can be identified by a nigerian name, I have never seen such a case of them being brutalized by popo.

If you feel Mary is unimportant to Jesus and you can't pray to her to ask jesus to intercede on your behalf, how then do you explain John 2:1-11?

In this verses, jesus was not ready to reveal himself. He was not ready ready to start performing miracles, but Mary his mother virtually ordered him to. He grudgingly performed the miracle of turning water to wine and hence his very first miracle.

Who says Mary can not only influence Jesus in heaven?

Are you pentecostals saying that daddy G.O. will have more influence on Jesus than Mary his earthly mother in heaven, and hence Jesus would answer daddy G.O's prayers but not Mary's?
Difference is pentecostals don't PRAY to daddy G.Os.
Nor do they set up shrines to them.

3 You shall have no other gods before Me. 4 You shall not make for yourself an idol of any kind, or an image of anything in the heavens above, the earth below, or the waters under the earth. 5You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God...

Good Afternoon good people,

Ive been dating this guy for a year and we did our introduction last year. since then, he's been trying to raise money for the wedding and house to move in.

I started noticing some funny behaviour. He chats alot with females, tells them the same thing we discuss about.
on this faithful day, he had a drama he was to perform in; he gave me the Complimentary ticket for the second show. on getting there, the first show was just finishing, i met him seeing his Ex who is a muslim off. i asked him if that was d ex, he denied it. he said she is a friend, she heard about the show and bought her ticket to watch the show. i apologized for accusing him but my indistinct still told me she's the ex.

three weeks later after, he went out for a friends Intro. and left his phone in the house, I decided to go through his phone with his password which he has being hiding from me(I stole d password)... i saw his chat with the lady and other girls. some nasty chats.
so i decided to pick only the assumed ex. number to call. i spoke to her nicely and she responded nicely too. i asked if she was my fiance's ex. she said yes. that she met me that dat after the drama and my fiancee never mentioned anything to her; instead he told her i was his friend. i asked her if she bought her ticket, she said no that my fiancee gave her ticket. that he has asked her after me before he always says im his friend.

this said ex. his parents have warned him about because of her religion. yet he still communicate with her. she even told me she has a fiance that her fiance.

i got angry and confronted him, the only thing that could come out of his mouth is " He's no longer interested that he will call my dad" on hearing that, i had to report him to the parents and two trusted friend of his. he doesn't listen to anyone nor his parents. the dad spoke with him and he told the dad there is no problem.. the mum called me and begged me to be calm.

please what should i do, im in my 30's and he is in his late 30's but i earn more than him. each time i talk of supporting so we can get an apartment, he just wave's it
. embarassed embarassed
Okay so God saved you from some foolishness.
Shouldn't you be happy?

Anyone who codedly says their fiance is "just a friend" is just playing games....games you have all the information to know that you should be thankful you no longer have any reason to be a part in.

What a bold and perfect solution from you bro. Very mature really. But I still don't understand how having a female as elder one is paining the young dude. Their neighbors sometime this k if the boy is the elder brother to my friends wife with the way he behave to his sister when the husband is not around. It's a lesson to everycouple raising children to make sure that they make sure their kids respect one another when they are of age to avoid all this crisis
It would be none of my concern what goes on in his head.

It's up to him to develop himself as a sensible adult. Failure to do so will mean he is no longer welcome in my home, but it won't be out of malice or fight. Just pure logic.

And the reason his head would be that way would be because he would have never met someone like me who would call him out on his bullshit as an older brother. I am sure everyone in his family was too busy coddling him to instill some discipline into him.

In the US, I follow all news of black people being unjustly harrassed and beat up by police.
It's infuriating because it seems like there is one every day of the week.
I sometimes do my part to see justice done in those situations.

However I've noticed that, with all the Nigerians in the US, I have NEVER heard a case of a nigerian in the US being roughed up and assaulted by american police.
Is it because we have already developed big sense for dealing with law enforcement (olokpa) and soldiers (army/mopol) in our country? and thus know how to arrange ourselves and de-escalate as much as possible?

Now we don't worship graven images. We don't pray to Mary or other saints. It's only intercessory like I said before. You may choose to misconstrue it, that is your business. You may wail from now till next year it doesn't make your opinion any more right.

Why do you even feel you're saying the truth? Why was there need for Moses to make a serpent out of copper or a need for an ark of convenant? I could go into more examples.

These are things you need understand. It's not blasphemy. I don't see it as such. I have never seen anyone praying to a statue, not even the priest, not even the pope. Christianity has a lot of traditionality surrounding it otherwise you wouldn't be going to church on a Sunday.
You are a total and complete idiot cheesy

2000+ years Vs 50+ years.. Seriously??
Whatever you guys carve up in those statues, it certainly wasn't what they looked like.

That is is why God specifically gave you this instruction:

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Both of you should sit down and decide on the church you will be going when you get married..My dad is from Anglican, when he got married he joined RCCG...
I would easily marry an Anglican. Baptist too. Also Methodist. There are very little differences between the protestant Christianisms . What I don't go with is a church that involves itself in the worship of anything that is not God/The Trinity. The catholic church is the most dangerous othodox church as it swallows people up in a sense of religionism while denying the power

If you reason how the devil works and corrupts, it is no surprise they would have executed plans several centuries ago to inject something in christianity in its infancy whereby, "Sure worship your God, but ALSO worship this as well. Here's a logical reason why you should. Carry on". Tactically speaking, it makes total sense to have done this. That is a very obvious strategy he would have enacted a long time ago.

Be careful if you think you stand. You might just be sinking.
Please know that most religious leaders today who say they have heard God, are just doing public relations. God has already written a lot of them off long ago!

They can avoid it by calling it off.
Some fights are just not worth getting into. You can go into a fight of preference, not a fight of core belief.
It's almost like marrying an Ifa worshipper if idols and shrines are gonna be around the house. It's just not happening.

Unfortunately they didn't start this conversation early enough in their relationship and address the various elephants in the room until 4 years later.

I feel they were just not dating with marriage in mind, just fun or convenience.
They are now just getting to the age where they think of marriage, hence the revelation that they are heading diff directions.
In which case, best they break it off and go find more compatible matches.

That people mindlessly dated for years is no guarantee that they should end up marrying each other.

So this is what u should do since ur both trying to build a home together leave ur family churches & decide on a place where both of u can truly worship together.

If that idea no work bros abeg leave church wedding ro tradition... No be force to wear suit & tie.

It goes beyond a place of worship.
These people basically have different belief systems.
Not as different as christian vs muslim...but different enough still to cause core rifts.

As much as our beliefs are somehow attuned to true christianity (denominations are weird), I would hate if my wife was a catholic and felt the need to start putting up shrines to Mary in my house because that is what her denomination says she should do. That simply won't fly with me...

So it is wise that they check it now before getting into a union of fights.
