Celebrities › Re: Angel Christopher: 'Men Find My Body Irresistible, Some Think I'm Mammy Water' by 2buffagain(m): 10:10pm On Sep 20, 2018
edurach:
Angel Christopher, a s*xy and curvy Nollywood actress, is not letting her guard down despite all the tantalizing offers she’s been getting from men who want to have a feel of her s*xy body.

Speaking with Inside Nollywood, the Delta State-based role interpreter, who has starred in over 20 movies, shared the embarrassing encounters she often faces because of her natural endowments.

“Nothing is new. People normally assume so many things about me. Some men just see me, and the next thing they do is ask me to marry them, without even knowing me. Others go as far as telling me that they would love to have s*x with me. Just like that!

“Some even ask if I am human being or mammy water, while others send me different snapshots of their manhood to prove they are capable and can handle me well in bed.

“I just read and laugh and when I am not in the mood to laugh, I block them through their social media handles. Case closed! In fact, men find my body irresistible,” she gushed.

With a strong belief that the man of her dreams would eventually locate her, Christopher, who doubles as a beautician, rejected the offer of being a second wife.

“Nothing is wrong with being a second wife, but I can’t settle for less neither am I meant to eat left over. The Bible made us to understand that it’s one man, one wife. So, why should I go dragging another woman’s husband when I can get mine?

“I am a jealous lover and I hate sharing. I want a man who is God fearing, understanding, tolerating, caring, calm and playful.

“I don’t mind if he is short, ugly or poor, because when you truly love someone, his or her looks won’t mean a thing to you,” she hinted.

I think the general conclusion is that most people on this thread are too broke to see the value in signing a prenup. grin

And perhaps that is a valid position.
If you are too broke and have nothing, living in a face-me-I-slap you, you might not need one. As the person who joins you at that point in your life will undoubtedly suffer with you.

Perhaps the majority state of most Nairalanders is "broke". cheesy
We can't fully know this though...until this thread makes front page so more opinions can be shared.

It's common sense.

Who would see greener pastures and reject?
Oyinbo is better than Yoruba, any day.

Besides, it's the same way Nigerian men are ladies above 30 as too old, unmarriageable and tag them "evening newspaper"...
But they rush to marry older white women, even those in the age range of their mothers and call it love.

Deal without, Ntoro Uduang ufok.
The older white women will give them green card.

The older nigerian woman...not so much of anything that cannot be acquired from a younger nigerian woman.

It's basic cost benefit analysis.

The moral being, the older you get....you better be able to bring more than your [rapidly degenerating] body to the table.
If you notice, this is a universal law, and applies also to men.
But because of mens' very early taste of reality growing up, they are more prepared for growing old than women...who are generally clueless of reality while growing up because of all the attention they were getting in their youth.

Romance › Re: Two Days After Marriage He Applied For A Divorce by 2buffagain(m): 7:46pm On Sep 19, 2018
Lies.
Is it 2 days or 2 weeks?

Story has already been changed.

If true, the women are so backward...
You disgrace yourselves over food in public? The man's mother particularly is backward.
It sounds like the MIL just busted into the wedding, late, with no plans for her guests. If there is no food for them, the respectful unbackward thing to do is to go and sort your guests feeding elsewhere.

You cannot expect the food for other important people in the wedding to all of a sudden be given to you.
Why did the MIL not put these guests of hers in the plan?

In that situation, I would certainly not divorce my wife.
But I would reprimand both of them.

My mum first for disrespecting me and the occasion because she could have simply come to me if she had an issue instead of feeling she had a right to be slapping my wife. It will never happen because I do not take that crap from extended family members (which they become after I marry and start m own family).

Then My wife for not being wise enough to de-escalate matters arising...instead of getting into a squabble, she should have let me know what nonsense my mum did or was doing. It's just respect. If I had a disagreement with her parents, there is no way I won't let her know first so she can sort them out herself. I won't start trading fists with her dad.

Life will go on according to plan, and the both of them will just have to live with and accept the fact that they disgraced themselves in public.

Lizzysamuel:
Drake says that after his stop in Manchester, England, Lace came back to his hotel and they had consensual sex.

“Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed MouthAction,” the lawsuit says of the pair’s initial contact with each other, but the lawsuit alleges that Lace took things much further in the following months.

TMZ reports that the lawsuit lays out a “fantasy relationship” constructed by Lace and includes texts allegedly sent between Lace and Drake. Lace went on Instagram shortly after the supposed exchanges and claimed that she was pregnant with Drake’s child.

According to the lawsuit, Lace lawyered up and asked that Drake pay her for the baby. When that didn’t fly, Drake claims Lace went to the police and said that the Canadian artist raped her.

The lawsuit says that Drake was cleared by the Manchester police but Lace still demanded millions of dollars in exchange for her not going public with her charges.

It appears that the rapper has had enough and is now suing for civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, abuse of process, and defamation. The lawsuit says that “there is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby,” noting that a child would have been born in the fall.

Romance › Re: Prenups Would You Still Get by 2buffagain(m):
@shugavee, idealistically, you are right.

Realistically? You are being willfully ignorant. There are women who have said the same good goodly wife things you are saying right now that became monsters years down the line.

Out here , women trigger 70% of divorces. You want to know why they can do so so casually? Because they have no consequences.
At any point they can keep all the benefits of a marriage without any of the responsibilities...at the expense of her slave ex-husband. Thanks to things like no-fault divorce.

Human beings are inherently selfish. It is a human flaw no matter how goodly the spouse. So love with structure and guidelines.

You can still love each other till death do you part ...having signed a prenup.

It is like car insurance. Something you buy now to cover all bases but hope to NEVER have to use in the future

Prenup is not for protection against a wife. It is for protection against a vindictive ex who, for whatever emotional change or reason, might choose to destroy your life because he/she realizes they have the power to do so.

If you still don't get that, scroll up to my earlier post of the three types of women who won't sign a prenup and pick the one you are.

TBH I am angry at ALL leaders in Nigeria right now.
It is a righteous anger. How can anyone with any sense of exposure/self-respect cast their eyes on the country and not become maddened with rage?

What they need is someone to call them out on their fuckups, not someone that will be kissing their hairy asses by bowing down to them, in the midst of said fuckup.

That is why I love Sowore. He doesn't give a Bleep.
Either perform or be told off.

i dont care about the prenup y'all talking about undecided

i only made an input based on what caps.locked said and the arguement on marriage and divorce that ensued

and i stand by what i said cos i've heard about and seen alot of divorce cases and marriages experiencing difficulties.

The major reasons is what i mentioned earlier viz:

1) the wife is one of 'em naive 3rd generation feminists who know not what true feminism mean and deem it fit to disrespect their husband all in the name of "equal rights"

and/or

2) the ignorant self acclaimed alpha males who think because they are men, their wives should practically worship them and most times deem it fit to beat them up if they do otherwise.
Yeah True.
Thing is, You do not know who your spouse truly is until you marry them. People change. All major life long term decisions must be made with that cold hard fact of life in mind.
Which is why self-protection is crucial.
Hence the main topic of the thread.

You don't get a prenup to protect yourself from your wife. You do it to protect yourself from your ex.

wonder why my cousin's marrige is crumbling (or has already crumbled as they'll be finalising the divorce next month) while my parent are still married even after 45yrs?.................i'll tell you why

because of 'em
"senseless 3rd generation feminists and/or ignorant alpha males"

these two sets of bastards have made practically everything a case of "man vs woman" or simply put "gender war"

a marriage where one or both spouses is a feminist or alpha male, that marriage will never last...........i repeat, that marriage will never last!!

My cousin was unfortunate to marry one of this 3rd generation feminist and aside from the first 4months, the marriage has been hell for him

men, marry these local "feminists" who are not "Feminists" at your own peril

women, marry these "self acclaimed alpha males" at your own peril

and to all the idiots especially the ones on nl, life or the earth is not
undergoing a worldwide war between the opposite sexes where you must always have to fight for your gender

wake up from your delusion!!!!

EOD
And what does all this story have to do with the importance of protecting oneself with a prenup?
There are age mates of yours right now whose parents are divorced, so you are not making any logical point.

A person does not have to be an "alpha male" or "feminist" to be exposed to a divorce.
Apply logic.

MissRaine69:
Right let’s get things in perspective here
Emmanuel caused his own downfall
He sighned over his assets to his ex-wife for her to manage that is called being stupid.
He chose not to seek the advice of solicitors and despite being advised against this he ignored team mates and friends.

He is not the only African footballer to end up poor . Most lack the financial discipline to plan ahead. Don’t put this on his wife. He had capacity and he made very bad decisions repeatedly.
That he did. He is a fool.

The point I'm making though is that even though he pretty much gave all his assets to his wife, upon divorce, BOTH party's assets should have been considered for the split...gaining him back some of the lost assets.... if there truly is gender equality in the courts.

But as we know, there is no such thing.

That is a reason why an iron clad prenup is necessary, with a clause specifically stating that the party's assets acquired after marriage are up for consideration. Regardless of whether the man has more money or not. Otherwise, family courts tend to automatically ignore the female's assets.

The judge knows he/she could have applied this default, but refused to, because seeing a devastated man pleases them...add to it that he is black and the judge would have double reason to see him reprobate.

For anyone dumb enough to believe any manipulative woman about not signing a prenup.
See what a so called wife did to Emmanuel Eboue, football player.

All that suffering, all that hussle...lost to a woman who likely told him the same nonsense that some manipulative females on this thread have already tried to push.

<falz> eee wee no work! Dey tink dat we don't watsh televizan</falz> cheesy

Without a prenup, the courts hardly consider the woman's own personal assets when doing the split. They just go straight for the jugular of the man in a savage and utterly reprehensible manner.
If Eboue at least had that in print, he would have have had a better chance of been able to get some of his money back from her.

Prenups are not for defense against your loving wife, they are for defense against your ex-wife.
Remember that.

arghhhhhh
...and then if it fails...?

You are just thinking like a child, not an adult.
You have to cover all bases.

What you don't understand is that a prenup also protects women AS WELL AS protecting men....the latter being more neccessary outside of naija given predatory family laws around the whole world.

You might say, "we are in naija, he doesn't need protection"...but what then happens if you guys move to another country?
He is then subject to the worst part of you and predatory lawyers who egg you on to twist the dagger ever more angrily in the event of a divorce. And the sad part is that he would be forced to pay those very same lawyers who will be coaching you on how to stab him well.

To be of this opinion, Oh you have Nooo idea the things that have been done to men in these parts of the world by women who just wake up one morning and decide to be bitches. The life of a man cannot be subject to the whims, ebbs and flows of something as turbulent as a female's emotions.

IMO The only woman who is against signing a prenup is one of 3 things:
1- Ignorant: ... i.e "Why would anyone want to buy car insurance?" "Life insurance keh? So you want to kill me?!" blah blah blah other silly talk.

2- Broke - Because if she had some coins, she'd want to protect them too.

3- Evil ... because she knows the default situation already favors her. Now if only she can get this idiot to not protect himself.

No only myopic men whom have destroyed what is yet to be born will seek a prenuptial agreement. Why marry at all if you don't trust your partner?
That...quite frankly...is the most naive thing I have read all day.

Only an idiot of a man, who has no outlet into seeing what is happening in the world today, would get into a marriage without a prenup.
A prenup is not bad. It simply protects BOTH partners in the event of something unfortunate.
You do it and get it out of the way so you can enjoy your lives.
