http://allafrica.com/stories/201111211655.html

You know how many fake currencies are even in circulation right now? Not to even talk of the 1980's. So many crimes were committed before people got wiser. All the big guys then were drug peddlers or pushers. Those guys made their money before anyone even understood that drugs could be ingested like that. This to some extent applies to IBB. It is either fake money or a ponzi scheme. Why will he get arrested if his business was genuine? A ponzi scheme without going burst will be undetectable by the government officials. His ponzi intentions then would have been unknown.
Politics › Re: Please Where Is Dr Umana Now-nigerian First 419er? by 2mch(m): 5:01pm On Jun 14, 2012
Eziachi: You don't give thousands, if not millions of people fake money from month to mont and nobody knew.
Well obviously somebody in the government found out, that is why he was taken away. Only IBB can say for sure. I doubt any Nigerian will give you double the money though. Where is he getting such money? The capital markets didnt have a boom really till the 90's. And Nigeria wouldnt have been wired at that time for individuals or owners of random banks to partake in the capital market. This is if your argument was that he was investing the deposit. My bet is on fake currency. undecided. You know how many times Nigeria had to introduce new currency to battle the plague of fake currencies in circulation? These fake currencies are hardly detectable. Not to talk of being detected by visitors and regular people. Like businessmen and illiterates looking for a quick payout. They will even be more interested in the amount of fake paper than its realness.
Politics › Re: Please Where Is Dr Umana Now-nigerian First 419er? by 2mch(m): 4:52pm On Jun 14, 2012
Well it must have been the typical ponzi scheme then. He will bear the cost of giving out money until he gains the people's trust to a certain extent. When word get around that the scam is genuine more deposits start pouring in, and then at the right moment he absconds. undecided. I still suspect the fake money aspect. Fake money was a lot more difficult to identify back then. It may look real to you, doesnt mean CBN put it in circulation.
Politics › Re: Please Where Is Dr Umana Now-nigerian First 419er? by 2mch(m): 4:38pm On Jun 14, 2012
Most likely taking people's real cash and exchanging it with fake money. Back then it must have been a lot easier to print and mint your own money without any detection. Those people were most likely taking back home worthless paper. Quite an intelligent idea actually. cool

Good news that you found a temporary solution. Now think of what you are good at. What are you really good at? Did you check in your school for scholarships or teaching assistant jobs? It is summer now in England. Use that time to do something for yourself, and try to earn your school fees. Think about what you can do. Is it teaching or tutoring? Baking? Sewing? Think of something lucrative you can do with your hands. If your school doesnt have scholarship i suggest you transfer to a school that does and will offer you such opportunity. Goodluck. Quitting is not the best you can do for yourself. So many have found themselves in your situation and have humbled themselves to work in Mc Donalds. I dont think you are the hustler type sha, you just want to quit. With your attitude you can only survive in Nigeria where you are given everything

OAM4J: Because some posters posted in another language on the thread has not made it a non-English thread and its not sufficient reason to move it.

The title and the opening post are what we use to determine where a thread belong and not what some posters posted on it. We can only hide inconsistent posts if we have reasons to suspect they are off topic.

The rule you quoted reefers to when creating a thread.

You can appeal to Admin, he made the rules, I enforce it to the best of my understanding.
The title starts with "Eze Ndigbo....." If that is not enough for it to be in the culture section then i dont know what is. This is if i understand your explanation. Please reread your explanation and look at the link. It qualifies for culture as far as am concerned. Eze Ndigbo is not English. cool
Politics › Re: I Lied, Says Shamed Farouk Lawan by 2mch(m): 7:40pm On Jun 13, 2012
Farouk made a mistake threatening Otedola and collecting bribe. It is just like threatening Dangote. These two families are too close to the presidency. You might as well be threatening the president. They handle the funny business for these people. I wont be surprised if this was a setup and the dumbo fell for it. These guys truly do not have to go through these foo*ls to get what they want done. Someone wanted Lawan OUT! Sadly he is corrupt and fell for it. Game over for Lawan. grin cheesy

Assuming your genius plan works, am sure FG now knows where to get you since you felt the need to advertise the whole plan on NL. You and your co-conspirators and supporters. Make una enjoy your freedom for now. lipsrsealed . What a genius

DaRapture: Are you sure you'r a fellow AA, cause you don't really look it? You look more Caribbean and or strait African, not saying that in a negative way at all. I'm just saying that your look isn't very common among us, (I'm AA). Well, you actually do look VERY Yoruba, and the Yoruba weren't that common of an ethnic group brought to America and the Hausa were an even more rare group sent here, so if you are of those descents then that will definitively explain the rarity of your appearance among us AA.

The Yoruba are from the South West of Nigeria and the Hausa are from the North of the nation, but the VAST, VAST majority of Nigerian based ethnic groups that were brought to the US during the slave trade were from the South East of Nigeria, with the primary group being the Igbo. The Igbo were actually the largest single ethnic group numerically to be brought to the US, with some estimates ranging as high as 40% of the total, and if your family is from the Chesapeake region of the nation, especially VA and MD then it's an almost 60% certainty that that person will be of majority Igbo descent. Go to the South Eastern Beauties thread in this section of the forum, and you'll see how common the Igbo are to the majority of the AA population in appearance.
WTF? She actually looks hausa. Who made you an authority of Yoruba people? hahahaha. This is all Bullshi*te. Ignore this ridiculous post. Yoruba's are more in the America's. Wanna bet? Check your DNA. We had the most population, we still do.

Well i hate to be the one saying this, but your reality is different from everyone else's so you might as well take one for the team. Sadly, a lot of first borns have to do things they will not like to make a way for the others. Its better to marry the money bag than to become a stripper. Joining a strip club, you might get yourself into big trouble. They might make you sign a contract where you will get in trouble, and may have to have sex for money. Then you become a prostitute. And trust me in the future, this past will come back to haunt you. Nigeria is a very hyprocritical country. My advise? Marry the moneybag and be smart with whatever money comes your way. Set up your mum in a business and your siblings should also be doing things to contribute. They can go to technical schools on holiday to learn sewing, electrician or mechanic type things. On the other hand, you could buy clothes from yaba and sell. A lot of girls i have met do this. They wash the clothes well and redesign and sell. That could help you achieve some independence and not have to be a stripper or be in a loveless marriage. Its either you start a business or marry the money bag. Forget the stripper thingy. They make money mostly from sleeping with their regular clients.

bizgirl: thanks everybody. i am into business going to 2 years now. through the little i was able to save and borrow. to be sincere i am so addicted to my business and always happy whenever i am back from work to my shop. but i thk the height of my depression CAME IN WHEN ROBBERS STRUCK 2 WEEKS AGO. Alas no help from any angle. money and goods were stolen, my customers were robbed and borrowed money was carted away. i lost nothing less than 80k to these ppl. my dear i know i wlll survive it. and that is what i am doing.
Lesson learned. Try not to keep cash in your business like that. Take it home everyday, only keep small money for change in the busines. This was obviously inside information. Be careful and reevaluate your staff. Pick yourself up and build up your business again. Try to diversify and invest in other things as soon as your business grows so that your money is not concentrated in one place.

2Mekus: You do not have to insult and abuse to make your point. If you have a contrary view make it succinctly without demonstrating your mental disorder. I mentioned a name in my post and stated that I was an eyewitness to his testimony. He is still alive. Google his name for more information if you need it. But don't insult.
Say Amen na, if dem born your mama well. Aro patient. cheesy cheesy grin. U dey fear?

Kobojunkie: Much of the money he supposedly donated to many UNVERIFIED churches and mosques to date, was money that was meant to go to the building of the future of Nigerians to begin with.

The many ABRACADABRA-ed a $20 million dollar fund(by today's money that is about $500 million dollars) that was meant to be used to build world standard IT and communication infrastructure for Nigeria and Africa.
Prove your silly analysis. You just always pull bull*shite out of the air. Kobo junkyard junkie. undecided.
Christianity Etc › Re: Was Ship Load Of BIBLES Really Sunk By Abiola? by 2mch(m): 4:18pm On Jun 13, 2012
2Mekus: I have personally met a man who championed the sinking of those Bibles on the sponsorship of Abiola/IBB. He was a one time Jihadist in the name of their allah. A prominent grand-son of Late Uthman Dan Fodio. He is now a borne-again Christian and goes by the name Blessed Usman. He confessed to the crime at a congregation and gave a graphic account of what happened and how he was arrested by the Lord when on a mission to kill the late Idahosa in Kano.

So it is true that Abiola paid for the destruction of Holy Bibles on the high sea.
IF what you wrote here is a lie, you will no live to see 26. Say Amen if you are saying the truth. I lived through that time, and this never happened. Stop these lies, you sound mentally challenged.

afam4eva: What a dumb post. At times i wonder if some people were born by goats. Your post reeks of 1diocy(no offense).
You have never been known to make sense or contribute anything meaningful, so what ever you say is irrelevant. You still remain NL's biggest Dumbo grin grin. With spare part thinking. grin grin grin. Reflect on the posts below, if it still doesnt make sense, change your spare part:

2mch: hmmm, I guess a president honoring an ex separatists wife with a post is supposed to be something. . . Jona thinks and acts like a 2yr old. Be careful the message you are passing. Just like in the future one of Osama's wives is given a post as minister. shocked shocked shocked . What kind of subliminal message will the president of that country be passing?
2mch: Invincible to only you. grin grin grin cheesy. As a president, he should not be rubbing shoulders with such strange personalities and appointing positions. Besides why are so called BIAFRANS not ashamed to beg for money from Nigeria? I thought she was supposed to be the queen of BIAFRA! odumchi: I like you approach, but remember that they're sister. Imagine the irreparable damage that suing one's sibling would cause.
The damage has already been done. She was scammed by the sister. Its a different thing to ask for money without the promise of paying it back. And this is obviously money that the woman cannot afford to lose? What if the husband insists on getting his money back? Did he work for them? And besides the sister first said she needed the money for an office project, not a business transaction. So how can an office project fail? And why the hell will an office ask you to bring money for a project in the first place if it wasnt a private business? undecided
