In america, their artist promotes drugs, Ho's, crime etc, in Mexico, their artist also promote narcotraffico.. In Cote d'ivoire, they also promote coupe decale just like the late douk saga.. It is everywhere.. Even some girl artist in other countries talks about females using their body to get what they want. Omo, we can't all be civilians;some are military. Huh Newbeginnings: Don't you dare give up a course because your mum thinks its about the stuy of madness... Never try...
Here is what I want you to do.... pscyhology is like a dead course here in Nigeria and it is not easy to find a job... Look around and make research on people who studied the course and are well to do here in Nigeria, also look for men/women in high places who studied the course.... Then look for opportunites in that field.. Like computer science has many openings in IT, Digital marketing, app development and web development.. Thse are all jobs, so find the ones available in psycholgoy I wanted to study pscyhology too, but the course has a lot of loopholes, I had to look for the opportunities available and look deeper into my passion. I later opted for biochemistry. It is almost the same but it has more opportunities and I am still able to study psychology....
Here is the qeustion you should ask yourself. Why do you want to study psychology, is it because of your passion or because of the opportunities it presents..
If it is because you love the course then I advice you to think harder, you can opt for another course and go to school and still study pscyhology while studying the other course... As I speak I am studying Economics even though I am biochemistry student.... I love economics its my passion, but biochemistry has a lot of opportunties and you can also do that... It will help you secure your future and still keep your passion in check..
Don't listen to anyone telling you that things will be better in Nigeria, expect the person promises you a job or to pay your school fees... Study a course that will give you opportunities and also study your passion while in school.... nonsense, even with biochemistry, there is no bright future.. I have numerous guys who did biochem.. No job for them . The ones who did masters, did not further in biochem |

I should not have to call God to show me the way simply because there are too many corruption going on.. I don't like when people bring in religion.. You have a right and it is key that as a citizen you get the basic things in place.. Everything you call God for in nigeria.. God, I call you for job, water, light, security etc... In a civilized nation, it is not like that. I am not ruling out God.. But there are something we are to do for ourselves which is right before God can help us in the end. |

But they also know that Nigerians are very resilient and can cope with anything.
Imagine a country where people do not rely on govt for water, light, security, healthcare, etc. Even many people now send their wards to private schools from KG to university.
Nollywood & Showbiz have blossomed, almost entirely on private efforts too. I agree with you but it is a total shame. A govt is suppose to provide the basics and if they can't, they have failed a nation. |

gozzlin: One important fact to take note of though is that the Nigerian variety of rice that requires washing and parboiling is the one with a lot more nutrients than the Ghanaian variety. The Ghanaian perfumed rice has little or no nutrients because it has been severely processed in the the factory. You can Google it and see for yourself that brown rice is the real deal.
Moreover, I do not understand the rationale behind adding perfume to rice in the manufacturing process. It's totally unnecessary. I can never get used to Ghanaian perfumed rice. I agree with you on this. I already know about all this.. I was laying emphasis on the cooking process as the nigerian method takes more time than the gh method.... |

I also hated the perfumed rice during my stay in Accra. Ghanaians love their perfumed rice so much. she is a visitor and I can understand how she feels so as you. in the beginning I usedto hate it but I got usedto it.. I even dislike cooking Nigerian rice as you have to parboil, wash and cook again.. That is stress.. Even Ghanaians make mockery of the nigerian rice and its preparation. If you live in ghana, u will get usedto it.. The nigerian students in ghana, na ghana rice dem dey chop all through out their stay studying there.. Sometimes, I have issues with my Nigerians. They always think theirs is the best.. They say monkey no fine but hin mama like am like that... If you think yours is the best, then be at your lane and not try to compare by saying yours is the best. |
