Registration online started 2019 after the general elections and ended May 30th 2022. If you want to register, you have to go to INEC's office to do that.

When I went to register for my PVC a Peter Obi supporter was making mouth that when PO gets to power, registration would be easier and elections would be free and fair. One of the guys there then asked him why PO didn't conduct LG elections as Governor he couldn't say anything infact he said he didn't know PO didn't conduct LG elections.


The guy who asked the question then told him not to support blindly or follow the crowd but he should read on the achievements of the candidates and support who he feels has done good either in the public or private sector.

Today I finally registered for my PVC this was because the PDP supporters in partnership with INEC were going around my area.

Today people were plenty and complaining to the slow pace because of only one machine was available then one guy was shouting that they don't want to register them because they know Peter Obi would win, One of the PDP members who are organizing it then ask him that if they are scared of PO would they be taking the registration around?

He himself couldn't answer.



My point is the same way PO is making moves is the same way other parties are making moves.

Where I stay in Lagos, our LCDA chairwoman came to campaign for a second term, but she wasn't given audience because of the bad road there because people thought she should have fixed them as she grew up there and her mother still stays there.

Yeah that's what most Governor's do they divert funds for LGs reason why LG chairmen are like figureheads. Most Governor's even go as far as threatening to sack PG chairmen if they go against them.
