GoldenJem: Summary is Bachelor's Degree three years.
You know that WES change their position from time to time based on new information. Also ICAN updated their syllabus sometime in 2011. This is an interesting find in view of how assessment bodies have "short-changed" ICAN professionals. This matter was discussed extensively in the previous thread. Bros, if possible, kindly share that portion of the ECA summary for all concerned to be updated. Please blur all your personal details. Thanks! cc: Bimpsy99, Garykasparov |

Kontagious: Bros, understandably there's been an extensive debate on this POF matter but then a critical look at the underlined to me seems more like POF in spouse name is actually tenable but must be supported with a proof. Apparently |

elfmann: Why raising CSE for IELTS and ECA? Na wa! On the POF, do nothing unless they ask, a spouse's POF stands even when they are dependent. Bros, let her raise a CSE for POF if that will give her peace of mind and also to play safe. Besides, VOs interpret matters differently. See the underlined part of the screenshot below. geebaby10: I am the PA and I am currently on NA2 (since 16 August). For my POF, the bulk of the funds is in my spouse's account. I did not attach any consent letter or anything. I need to know which of the following options is the most sensible.
1. Do nothing and hope that its not an issue or that they send an ADR for an updated POF. At that point, I transfer the funds to my account and explain with an LOE.
2. Transfer the funds to my account now, get a new POF from the bank and then raise a CSE to attach this new proof of funds and an LOE explaining what has been done.
3. Raise a CSE and attach just a consent letter that the funds will be available to the me.
Please bear in mind that I raised a CSE last week to attach my ECA and IELTS and I have not gotten a response yet. In my opinion, the 3rd option appears to be more reasonable. Even though your VO may not make your POF an issue, it may be prudent to raise a CSE just to be on the safe side. Response time to CSE varies, so you don't have to worry since you just sent it last week. Cheers! |

Kontagious: Thanks for the correction, I guess I know where the misconception came from. I intend using a joint account. When the tweet came in confirming joint account can be used, my brain just ticked yes for joint account (as well as spouse account) as the debate then was on usability of both classes of account.
Thanks for helping unlearn and relearn. Welcome bro. We learn everyday |

Issyman: Many thanks to all that responded to my enquiry above. On behalf of all intending to do ECA but confused on which body to use cos of this IQAS wahala of delayed response and processing which is approx 15wks for now, I called ICES dis evening to ask questions we all might be interested in: 1- debit cards are not acceptable.only credit cards. 2-payment instructions will be given after one week (5working days) of receiving application which can be send by email. 3-most importantly, ur school can send transcripts without reference nos while waiting for payment instructions. This is for those whose transcripts might be ready b4 payment is completed. 4-lastly, processing period for now is 5wks for standard service.
I hope this info is useful.
@trikings many thanks for all the PM today and @40manlappy Eku agba oo Thanks for sharing bro. Guess you have settled for ICES now |

Kontagious: Hi,
A tweet was recently shared by 40manlappy (I think) that confirms POF can be in spouse name, so you need not move the funds. To your questions. Answer 2 kinda answers question 1.
So for Q2). Since the POF is in fixed deposit, simply ask the banks to give you the fix deposit certificate for the transactions. The certificate will contain the amount fixed, tenor, rate, start date, maturity date among other information. That one page certificate is sufficient as POF. So simply walk into the three banks and ask for your fix deposit certificates.
For clarity on Q1). The certificate is the format you require since you're using funds in fixed account.
Cheers.
Modified.
If the fix deposits are less than six months, please support the certificates with your wife's six month statement of account. If however, all are more than six months, then the certificates will do as POF. Well done bro but please note that according to the tweet, POF may be in the PA's name or a joint account. I don't think it should be in the accompanying spouse account. @Baisy: 1. How about transferring the funds to your account and supporting it with a LOE that the funds is to support your Canny dream? OR 2. Upgrade the account to a joint account and do treasury bill or fixed deposit for say, 3-6 months. That way, a LOE may not be necessary. See the tweet below.

Ballerz: I don't even revert to my schools for transcript again, I simply log on to WES to send to them. The last time I liaised with my undergrad school for transcript was 6 years ago after I discovered WES. Cheaper and faster to get response. Please, do you know if the bolded also apply to other assessing bodies, especially ICAS and IQAS? |

sleekysilk: Hello Issyman. Yes, I used WES for my OOU. Though that was in February 2015 when international transcript was 5k and no additional fee was paid for verification. They really delayed in proocessing my transcript giving various excuses that some of my courses had no scores and I should come down to 'search for my scores/results' myself. I was fortunate to get their email somewhere somehow around December after 10 months of waiting I just had to email them practically begging them to at least respond to WES' verification even if my transcript is yet to be processed. My transcript was not sent to WES on time but the verification was done in 5days after I emailed the school on oouexamsandrecords@yahoo.com and oouexamsandrecords@oouagoiwoye.edu.ng It took OOU 12 whole months (1yr) to process my transcript and I was contacted to come pick it up from the school and before I could even take permission from my work to travel down to Ago, I got a mail from WES that my report was ready- February 2016. Viola! soft copy received, and in another 4days, hard copy received. I just kukuma took my time before travelling.
[/b]I just pray I don't have any reason to request for anything from that school again. Good luck to all OOU alumni I share your sentiments regarding OOU @bolded. @Issyman, maybe you should consider ICES in the light of the above. Chose IQAS back then for the same reason i.e. verification was not required and faster processing times. Concluded that I wouldn't mind assessing my qualifications through WES in the future if absolutely necessary. @dtush Sorry about the stress that you are going through. Have you also tried tweeting/mailing? It could be a system glitch like you noted. cc: codebrew85, Dammiehar |

Or Can I also add my Bsc which I don't have ECA for in the education placeholder... Thanks again There is no harm in adding your ECA+MSc+BSc. See what IRCC requires below. In my e-APR, I simply included all the educational qualifications that I stated in the EE profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Newmum0615: Hello, sorry for being a bother. But I want to ask that if I chose an NOC at the point of expression of interest, and my employer does not give me a reference with the exact details of that NOC or at least a close match, does it mean I will be disqualified post ITA seeing that the reference letter ish comes post ITA. Am I to get a reference letter before the expression of interest to ensure that I know exactly what will be written in there? Hope you understand all this my plenty questions. Lol, you are not a "bother" It's not a problem, had a similar issue too. The NOC that we picked for wifey as the PA on the Express Entry profile (aka EOI) was not the same NOC that we chose when we submitted our permanent residence application. It was after ITA that we realized that the latter was more fitting. |

I am planing on using work experience from 2011-2014, I have both Bsc and Msc...Bsc was completed in 2010 while Msc was completed in 2015...I only did ECA for my Msc. Are you saying my work experience is invalid? The last time I checked, CIC says work experience from last 10 years can be used to gain point.. Your last sentence is valid. Apparently, the poster is mixing the requirements of Australian Immigration with Canadian Express Entry. Don't see why you should bother yourself cc: Bimpsy99, kissoflife |
